This company was great. I called today and by the afternoon they sent a technician out to check our air condition. Sean the technician arrived before the scheduled time, OMG how great is that!! He was very professional, he explained each procedure that he was doing and he explained why there no need to replace the A/C. There were a couple of parts that needed replacement and that would get the A/C running great! Thank you to this company and Sean for their honesty! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The technical rep was a gentleman, knowledgeable and provided me a range of options to correct the issue we had.

We’re having an issue with our indoor gas fireplace and our technician Sean was able to diagnose the issue and fix it in minutes!!!

Making a one-day service appointment on their website was easy to do, and they sent text notifications to let me know when I could expect my technician, David Pascali, to arrive. He was the main reason, though, for this positive review. Knowledgeable, honest, dependable, everything you hope for when requesting help. Never tried to sell extra service, and took pictures of my heat pump and showed me what he saw to confirm everything was in good condition. If he, or someone as trustworthy, comes out the next time, I will definitely stick with them.

We are extremely happy with the service performed by the entire Magic Touch staff. Our installer, Max was excellent. He arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. Prior to starting the job, Max explained what we could expect during the installation, ie, overview of installation, timing, and even the amount of noise that may occur during the install. In addition, Max and Sean were very respectful of our property. Max went above and beyond expectations in coordinating the haul-away of our old equipment, as well as cleanup at then end of each day. Thank you for your professionalism and courtesy!

Max called to let us know he was on his way & estimated his time of arrival. We explained the problems we were having, & he got right to work. Max found a few problems. He explained what needed to be repaired & the cost, & we agreed for him to do the work. We were so happy to have our ventless fireplace insert working again. The previous company/tech we used could not fix it! We will only be using The Fire Place by Magic Touch going forward. We want to thank Max & Kathleen.

Very patient and got my two fireplaces working. It is expensive however but it had to be done because no one dares to touch the fireplace mechanics so it is necessary to get a pro

I cannot say enough great things about this company and the tech that came to service our fire pit today. The experience from the 1st call with the office was top notch. Their dispatch system is incredible, sends an alert as soon as the technician is on the way with a photo. Dave was so great and got everything working within minutes. This company is great!

I don't write many reviews, but Jeremey W. definitely deserves one! He was extremely professional and spent after hours with us to fix our fireplace.

When he first showed up he put booties on (even though he didn't have to) and help us troubleshoot our fireplace to the n'th degree. He was willing to work late and diagnosed the entire unit (Astria Sirius direct vent) to make sure everything was working properly, ended up fixing our fireplace just in time for a Christmas party. Highly recommended service!

Max Callahan, technician, is detail oriented & provides excellent service! Evaluated our gas fireplace, checked the tanks and determined what was needed. Explained to us what the solution was and the estimate for fixing. Our fireplace looks brand new and burns beautifully. He helped us understand the care needed going forward. A bonus was his manager, Rick accompanied him. Rick partnered with Max and assisted when needed. He took a call from another technician who needed assistance and his manner in which he responded was one of a mentor and leader. Great team!! We highly recommend this company and will use them again should we need to!

Dave just left and let me tell you that he is the Magic Touch behind Magic Touch Mechanical. I should have called Magic Touch Mechanical before I had called another company which I won't name. Dave was very communicative through the process and took his time to fix the problems. I HIGHLY recommend Dave and Magic Touch Mechanical for the first call you make. Don't repeat my mistake and call another company first. Five stars!

So, I have considered upgrading my six-year-old 3-ton, 14 SEER single-speed Goodman air conditioner for a few years. The unit was part of the original home build - a basic, entry-level builders AC - absolutely nothing more than that. The single-speed unit was obnoxiously loud – my biggest complaint! It would cool to a set point, turn off for 20 minutes, then come on again. It drove my wife and me nuts.

I was doing my research on brands and unit size options and even completed a Manual J evaluation to determine the exact amount of heating and cooling my home requires. I contacted several companies, who provided me with various quotes from Goodman, Carrier, Lennox, and Trane.

The prices were all over the board, as were the recommendations. I was frustrated because I didn't know what I didn't know and wasn't getting consistent answers. Not satisfied, I continued researching when I came across Magic Touch Mechanical.

What specifically caught my attention with Magic Touch was the owner's Blog. Rich discusses various topics, such as what type or brand to consider, sizing, pricing, unit reliability, brand options, buying time, etc. I was so impressed with the blogs' detail, honesty, and specificity that I had to reach out to them for more information.

As a consumer, I'm at the mercy of the HVAC technician, who I hope will be honest with me when they come to my house. I've been burned many times with issues that were never the issue in the first place when I received a second opinion. With Magic Touch, I immediately felt I could trust and depend on this company. Rich's writings were genuine and someone I could do business with.

The two main factors in upgrading a six-year-old unit, besides the noise, were we wanted consistent comfort and efficiency. Jeff from Magic Touch came to my home and explained each unit's different brands, reliability, pros and cons, pricing, etc. Jeff suggested two brands he felt we would be happy with – Bosch or a Lennox.

We settled on the Lennox Signature SL28XCV and couldn't be happier! Thirty days later, Daryl, Luke, and Taden arrived to install the new unit. They were friendly, knowledgeable, respectful of our home, skilled, and cleaned up after themselves. And before they left, they ensured we knew how to operate the new, high-tech thermostat—a great team of professionals we can trust.

We absolutely love the Lennox! It's ultra-quiet, and the temperature throughout the house is consistent; I am confident we not only have a great air conditioner but also found a trusted HVAC company. We highly recommend Magic Touch!

I recently purchased a large linear fireplace unit from Magic Touch.
From the first visit with Rich the owner, I knew I selected the right company. Their showroom is set up so customers can easily observe the numerous features with each different model.
Rich was very patient & knowledgeable regarding the units & pointed out the pros and cons which I appreciated.
Once I selected the Orion-Multi, my order was placed and installation scheduled by Kathleen.

Rich, Dave & Rick arrived on time & went to work. Several hours later, I had the most aesthetically pleasing fireplace on a once boring wall.

The owner, Rich has decades of experience and his project manager, Bart is true salt-of-the-earth people. Even just calling in to the office and talking to Kathleen is a pleasure.

I don't want to be overly effusive - but I have to give credit where credit is due.

Dave did a great job was very informative with explaining, in detail, the process and results behind the diagnostics. His service and expertise were outstanding. He was very patient answering all questions I had. The gas fireplace I have is the original from 2003 so it has run its race.

However, I was not thrilled at the cost to repair it. I’ll certainly do my due diligence to weigh the pros and cons of repairing vs replacing before making a decision.

We installed an electronic remote starting system with Magic Touch and our Tech Dave did a professional job , on time and budget. Would recommend this company for your fireplace needs!
