Angie and her team were a breath of fresh air! Professional, respectful, kind and solutions oriented. They wouldn’t leave until everything worked as it should. I hired Northstar to install 5 new ceiling fixtures in my new construction home. I appreciated that they took the time to make sure the braces were correct and secured properly. I highly recommend!

North Star Electric (Tim) took my call and came out the same afternoon to look at my project and then came back the next day to wire up a radiant heat floor that I laid down to heat the downstairs room in my house. During one of the last storms something weird happened that was tripping the thermostat and he diligently worked to come up with a creative solution to get it working again. He didn’t give up when other people might have. He really knows his stuff, was extremely responsive, and I felt very comfortable having him and his apprentice in my home. I highly recommend North Star Electric and will hire them again to share their expertise on future electrical projects!

I had an issue not being able to get power in my backyard. I called this conpany witg tve hope of possibly getting someone out to fix my electical problem. My house is older and we just moved into it. Tim did an outstanding job informing me on what might have been the root of my issues. Turned out there was a lightswitch in the back of my house that turned on the outside power outlets. Issue fixed without me having someone come out there. It would have been a wait of time and money. I appreciated Tim's honesty, that showed that he and hos company opperate with ethics and honesty. I would reccomend at the least givong Norcal electrics if you experiencing electrical problems with your home.

I had the best experience with Tim from Northstar Electric! My kitchen was having some serious electrical issues, and Tim was like a superhero coming to the rescue. When I called, he was so helpful and knew exactly what to do.

Tim didn't waste any time – he swung by the same day to check things out and give me a quote. Then, just a few days later on Tuesday, there he was, right on time and with a smile on his face. He's such a friendly guy!

Even though my kitchen was a bit of a mess thanks to the previous owners' shoddy wiring, Tim didn't bat an eye. He rolled up his sleeves and got to work, fixing everything up in just a few hours.

If you're in Grass Valley and need an electrician, Tim's your guy. Seriously, don't even bother looking elsewhere. His expertise, kindness, and punctuality are top-notch. I can't recommend him enough – he's a real lifesaver! Five stars all the way!

A huge shout out to Northstar and Darryl!! He answered his phone when I called; came out that day; was punctual; fixed the electrical problem; and was courteous and kind. I live in Jamestown. He serves Grass Valley to Sonora. I feel very fortunate to have met him.

I phoned on a Sunday in desperate need because the refrigerator in my garage had stopped working, as well as a separate outlet in the garage. Andy responded to my call and kindly told me what my husband needed to do to get thing working again. It was a simple fix but without Andy’s instruction, we were clueless as to what to do. Everything was restored and he did not charge us. This kind of expertise and compassion are rare nowadays. Thank you Andy, we are so grateful!

Tim was great! I was exactly sure what happened but I lost power in my garage. When I reached out to Tim he answered promptly and was willing to come down immediately to help. I recently purchased a welder and was aware the garage didn't have a 20amp service. Tim was quickly able to see I did have 20 amps and give me options to take care of the problem. He took a quick trip to the store and was able to get everything I needed to install a 20 amp service. By taking the time to talk with me he understood I needed that for the welder and that the welder was on the other side of the garage so instead of just taking the easy route and putting it by the breaker he took the time to mount the plug where I needed it and educating me in the process. Great job Tim I'm very happy with your service and will definitely use you in the future!

Darryl replaced 4 light fixtures in a 150 year old home without standard electrical boxes, unbeknownst to me until he discovered it in the process. He assessed the situation and skillfully proceeded to install the new fixtures safely. He was friendly and very easy to work with. I would hire him again in a flash. I highly recommend Darryl!

Great electricians and clean nice work. I had Tim install two ceiling fans and a dining room light it turned out great I will definitely use them again.

Had a fire at my home and Northstar Electric LLC came out the same day to ensure I was able to use my electricity. They did a follow up job replacing some electrical that had been melted during the fire and they were very knowledgeable and fairly priced. Would recommend them to anyone in need of electrical work at their homes.

We used Northstar Electric to install a new outlet in our bathroom. Tim came out quickly and was very polite and professional. The project came out great and was quite reasonable. We plan on using Northstar Electric for several other projects. I would highly recommend Tim at Northstar.
