I received excellent results from the Tixan crew. My barely functional 1976 bathroom was transformed by them into a beautifully indulgent space. They even figured out a way to increase my already-spacious shower by width and height. It feels super lux now. The drywall/plaster work and tile work are flawless. Big bonus: the crew was amiable, professional, and easy to have around. (The photo is pre-paint and other design touches).

I hired George Tikhanov at Tixan Construction to remodel two showers. The experience was consistently solid from start to finish. Communication was direct and timely, calls and messages were returned without delays, and expectations were clearly set in advance. George is a former aerospace engineer, and was able to develop creative solutions to problems that were encountered. The team was friendly and organized, with significant attention to detail. Any issues or adjustments that came up were handled quickly and without pushback. Overall, Tixan Construction is among the top contractors I have worked with. I would use them again for future work.

George has done several projects for my home. He has done many things from mounting pictures, hooks, building a pet door and now doing re-modeling work as well. He is now our go to handyman and we will always call George first for a reliable and first class job.

Finding honest and competent craftsman in Southern California can be difficult to say the least. My family rents out a few properties that regularly need repairs and upgrades, so finding George has been a god send. Honest and reliable, George does beautiful work, and keeps his word.

I’ve hired George for multiple jobs, both for my residence and my rental. I’ve also recommended him to others. He has replaced damaged flooring, installed electrical outlets, constructed a shed, re-installed ceiling storage that a previous not-so-handyman had mis-installed, installed support bars in my bathrooms, repaired windows with broken counterweights, etc. His work has always been excellent.

George has helped with our house projects many times and I highly recommend him! He is extremely professional and provides reasonable quotes as needed for the projects. George did a fantastic job on our bathroom remodel. He completed the project on a tight schedule and within budget, and the results exceeded our expectations.

We highly recommend Tixan Construction! George did an excellent job putting electrical addition, recessed lighting additions, and replaced our ceiling fans. When one of our electrical wire burned out at one point, we requested his service and did not charge us for the fix. He explains everything as he troubleshoots the problem and/or performs the projects. Truly appreciate his professionalism and will definitely be calling him again for future services.

George was punctual and professional. He did a great job putting together 3 Ikea Alex drawers with countertop for an Ikea desk hack and two office chairs. Desk came out perfect. He also put up some photos for me and lined them up nicely.

Excellent communication, easy scheduling, friendly, and most importantly: professionalism in all his work.

Examples include electrical work / fixture installation (which included adding ceiling support mechanisms to handle the weight), craft woodwork and patching / painting. George with Tixan Construction did an amazing job on all of the projects at my house. He installed can lights, replaced our attic entrance with a pulldown ladder entrance, and did an amazing job on a custom closet we needed made for extra storage and cat litter boxes. Not only did he do an exceptional job on all of these projects, but he also gave a fair and competitive price to have them all completed. I would definitely recommend him!
