I have used them for years. Always reliable and professional.

We have a once-beautiful blue spruce. Davey guys have been trying to save it and it seems healthier. This time they took the dead branches out so it looks less like a Halloween prop. And a fertilization and beetle treatment. Hoping for the best. Prices were way below another tree trimming we had done last year. Left the street and sidewalk clean and no hassle. On time. Friendly people.

They removed a coupler of 8 foot diameter trees flawlessly.

There are no better people to hire for all tree work. They are professional, keep, and are priced fairly. They are the kind of people who will be your friends. We had a tree fall and another needed work. They were outstanding. No need to contact anyone else.

Just want to explain my wonderful experience with The Davey Tree team located in Soquel. First off during this last storm here in the Santa Cruz mountains a lightning bolt hit a 120 foot plus tall redwood tree next to my house so, I called Alisha yesterday just before lunch and told her of my concerns with this tree looking like it could come down on my house, especially with the high winds predicted, she immediately had Jeremy come to my place and surmise the situation. He put a game plan together and sent 2 of his crew out with all the equipment needed to fall the 2 remaining split halves of this massive tree. Jacob & Matt worked as team to fall both sections of this tree independently landing them exactly where they proposed. I was totally impressed the way these gents both demonstrated their adept skillsets while moving in unison with precision to get this task done. I might sound like I am exaggerating but, it's the truth, Davey Tree Service saved my Home from almost certain, severe damage and they did this with minimal notice, I will always highly recommend this team!!!

All the people at Davey Tree are super professional and great communicators. I have had chips delivered from them numerous times over the years at three different locations. They are very gracious and flexible and they have a really upbeat and positive attitude. They are pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend them.

After the recent severe storms, we called Davey to remove several large broken branches from monumental cypress trees behind our house. These branches were 50 feet up, and were quite hazardous. Davey gets my highest rating, for end-to-end service. TJ the estimator knew what he was doing, and he was clear and timely in all communications around quotation and schedule. The removal team was efficient, professional, and friendly. Jaime, Manny, and Omar got the job done in 3.5 hours, despite it being complex and dangerous work.

Working with Davey Tree Company has been a dream! We had a 30' pear tree that we tried to save over a few years, but eventually the blight won, probably because we didn't know to hire Davey right away!

TJ came and removed the tree quickly, chipped everything, and even left the yard cleaner than when he arrived! Octavio was just as wonderful when he arrived to grind the stump, making sure we could plant our new avocado tree in the same spot. Octavio even took away a few extra wood rounds we had in the yard that we no longer needed, which was so kind of him. He also blew off our patio and made sure everything was pristine when he left - above and beyond!

They both also looked over our remaining apple tree, which is struggling, to give advice on how to save it. We will be hiring TJ to prune and help us get it back to a healthy happy tree.

Between the storms and blight, we lost 4 very old trees in the past year and a half. It was very sad to have them removed, but TJ and Octavio really made the experience easy. They are kind and thoughtful and you can tell they truly love what they do and are passionate about saving any trees that can be saved!

We will recommend Davey to anyone who needs help saving, pruning, or removing trees!

We asked Davey Tree for advice around treatment options for oaks that have developed persistent aphid infestation and resulting moldy sap drip. Travis helped us identify and diagnose the problem, and was VERY knowledgable but gave clear simple information. Travis helped us navigate questions from neighbors and to find the most bee-friendly options for treatment. Our tech John showed up promptly as scheduled and was super helpful and thoughtful about neighbors. He went above and beyond to make sure we had groundcloth and mulch in place to isolate treatment from pollinators, and was careful to water in our treatment and fertilizer. John was also careful and safe, and knowledgeable about the materials. I especially appreciate that Davey gave us a plan for a one-time treatment to "reset" the problem, not trying to sign us up for a regular schedule. We recommend this company completely and without any hesitation. Thanks to this great team.

We used Davey Tree's services on our property to remove over 40 trees burned in the CZU Lightening Complex fire. Travis Evans, the district manager for our area and a licensed arborist, provided us with an excellent evaluation of the trees on our property, recommending those to be removed and leaving others to recover. Our project was scheduled promptly and the crew did a thorough and professional job over a period of several days, all at reasonable cost. Travis kept us apprised daily of the work completed and personally followed up with us on the property at the end of the project to be sure we were satisfied. We were very pleased with Davey Tree's work and would highly recommend them to others.

TJ was great, checked out the project, and got the crew out the following week! He also gave me a bid for other work down the road, which I will do after we get through some other projects.The crew was friendly, efficient, responsive and made sure everything was cleaned up after the job was finished. I would definitely use Davey Tree services again.

We are so happy we called Davey to help with our tree work! They have been super professional and responsive, and their crew did really beautiful work on an olive, apple, and alder tree that all needed a lot of love. They also helped me decide what to do about a beloved plum tree in our front yard, patiently teaching me about the various options of keeping vs removing.

We recently had a landscaper come by as we plan to convert the lawn into low water use landscaping, and they asked me who trimmed our trees since they could see it was such a good job.

Today 7/9/24 Davey tree came up to find out how to get to a huge eucalyptus tree where I live on Branciforte drive.They couldn't have been more kind and explained what they would be doing once they started cutting..When we walked down the hill, I had 4 greenwaste cans that I was beginning to take down to the road and they brought them down for me!!! What sweethearts..Even though they are contracted out by PG&E I would call on Davey Tree for personal tree work..Thank you George and the entire crew for being such great guys..To all of you who work for Davey, please be safe. You have a very dangerous job.. Thanks again..

Davey Tree removed two oaks from our property after they fell on our joining fence and took out our carport. We worked with TJ and he provided us a speedy and fair quote, clarity about what to expect and a short turn-around-time to start/complete the job. The day of service, these guys were on time, and worked together like a well oiled machine! Extremely impressive to watch them work safely and effectively! We opted to keep the wood for fuel, and they stacked it up in manageable rounds for us. They even blew away all the debris leaving the area tidy. Very thankful for their work but also they were responsive during a time when tree services were completely inundated in our area! Absolutely recommend and will use Davey again in the future!
