Very knowledgeable and trustworthy

I use them for maintenance of my Genrac generator and they are very good at it.

Strongly do not recommend. Awful service, which didn't even pass inspection, and they ended up charging us almost double their initial estimate. We had to bring in another electrician to finish the work correctly. Biggest waste of money.

I've been using Saturn Electric for the past two years. I purchased a Generac Generator which they installed and serviced. Also they have serviced my air conditioner and boiler. I have been very satisfied with the work that was performed.

Saturn installed a new hvac system for us. They were wonderful! Communication was top notch. We then had them replace our old generator. Perfect. Now we are having them switch out all the fluorescent lighting into led. Just a great company start to finish. Beth is the sweetest and the techs are completely professional.

Wanted a quote for (2) backup generators at my facility. They were able to get someone out to do an estimate in a relatively short amount of time. After 3 weeks and 2 follow-up messages asking for my quote, I was essentially informed that they didn't want the job. They made up some BS about me needing an industrial liquid cooled unit which they don't provide. I have the exact same requirements at a different facility that has (2) air-cooled generators doing the job with the same loads. This company made me feel disregarded after not responding for 3 weeks only to tell me that they didn't want the work.

I have used Saturn in the past when they were Air Repair. Last year we had a heater issue and my wife called the first heating service she could find, Leslie, without realizing who we had been going with, and subscribed to the Leslie Heating Plan to receive a discount from their service. When Leslie returned for a furnace check up, they quoted me an invoice for a Level 1 Condenser Cleaning ($125), a Level 2 Furnace Cleaning (dismantle and clean) ($275), and a capacitor ($166) for a grand total of $566. I found that we had used Air Repair, now Saturn, in the past and called them for a cleaning. Brandon from Saturn came out to clean my furnace and check the capacitor. He concurred the furnace needed cleaning. He noted I did not need to buy a new capacitor. He charged me $80 total, which was for the cleaning. I am glad I went with Saturn, I have confidence they are not swindling me. I did not need a dual cleaning charge for a "Level 1 Condenser Cleaning ($125), a Level 2 Furnace Cleaning (dismantle and clean) ($275)". I did not need a new $166 capacitor. Brandon was great and took his time to explain everything instead of telling me I need to spend over $500 for something for cleaning and parts. I will see him in the spring to review my A/C.

Went through Costco, twice for two properties, both times they did not come out to give a proper quote. They wanted photos and then when you question them they become unresponsive. Unfortunately, they're the only installers contracted by Costco but I went with Oakwood Electric in Westmont to install my generator. Excellent service, very responsive, installed and completed same day. Didn't want to bet on Saturn, if they're this unprofessional imagine if something goes wrong.

Edited 12/9/2024. More than two years later, the "Owner" responded to this and several other reviews at the same time. They asked me to call to remedy the situation. Seriously? Must be AI generated. Initially contacted Saturn on 12/21/2021 and scheduled a tech visit. On 12/24 or 12/27, a tech stated that we needed a new engine or a new generator but was unable to provide additional information on where to purchase. I researched and determined that a comparable generator would take 4 to 6 months to arrive but found a new engine from an aftermarket supply outlet. I ordered the engine with a 30 day return option costing $750. I advised Saturn and scheduled an appointment for the tech to install on 1/13/2022. This appointment had to be rescheduled for 1/27/2022 to due to Covid affecting Saturn's workforce. That appointment was also missed. On 2/1/2022, two techs arrived and determined that a new engine was not needed but a new starter and gas valve were necessary. Unfortunately the 30 day return policy on the new engine had already expired. I was told an estimate would be completed for me to review. On 2/7/2022 I called the Saturn office and told them I was still waiting for an estimate. A service call was eventually scheduled on 2/22/2022 for 3/2/2022. I never received an estimate for parts and labor. The tech that performed the service that day replaced parts and performed multiple successful tests but left before I could speak with him. One week later the generator failed a test start. I tried contacting the tech to get some troubleshooting suggestions but he didn't return my call. I called the office and was told they would contact the tech. That was the last time I spoke with anyone a Saturn. On 3/14/2022 I contacted another vendor who was able to send a tech on 3/28/2022. He determined that spider webs in the gas valve needed to be cleaned out (an issue that was supposedly addressed by Saturn) and the automatic voltage regulator wasn't working. I ordered and replaced the AVR and the generator has been running fine since. On 6/27/2022 I was emailed an invoice automatically generated by QuickBooks dated 3/22 and due on 5/11 for $906 ($418 parts/$489 labor). I emailed them back that they never presented an estimate nor finished the job and asked them to contact me to discuss. No contact was made so I sent Saturn a check to pay for parts. Two more invoices were automatically sent for $489. I gave up and paid the invoice this week. Seeing how I unnecessarily purchased a new engine, the long time lag in service visits, didn't get an estimate, had no follow-up when informed the generator wouldn't start after repairs plus no communications concerning billing, I will not be using Saturn again.
