Took 3 months to complete washer repair. Perry seemed as if he didn’t want to do his job, attitude was rude and he blamed everyone but himself on why it took so long to complete the repair, when in actuality, it was his fault. He didn’t communicate well at all and actually scheduled himself to come out a 2nd time, but he was on vacation and set my appointment during his vacation time. That pushed the service back again. They had to come out 4x’s before the repair was complete. It was a headache. The only thing I was satisfied with, was the lady from customer service sent 75$ card for us to wash clothes until repair was complete.

The installers of our new GE Monogram stove had some difficulty leveling it so we got Nicholas from Bodewell out. He sorted everything out beautifully: leveled the stove and fixed the toe kick as well. He explained what he was doing and took the time to show me just in case I ever feel a need to tweak the balance. Excellent service experience.

James (Andy) was very thorough. He was able to diagnose the issue with my washing machine and explain the cause. He had parts needed to fix washer and made sure it was back 100%. This was my first experience with Bodewell Appliance repair and was extremely satisfied. My repairs were covered by the warranty.

Stewart our tech was absolutely amazing! 12/10 for him. He has helped a ton with our fridge issues. He communicates what he is doing, what the issue is and helps to make sure the customers are treated right. This is a 3-star review because the online systems, bookings, and appointments are a mess. The systems often mess up and it’s not clear if your appointment is confirmed or if anyone will show up. They need to fix their IT issues and make them more robust and user friendly.

I requested service to repair a GE Cafe glass top range. One of the burners is a combination inner and outer ring that can be adjusted to operate both inner/outer rings or just the inner ring. The outer ring stopped working. The first Bodewell service technician arrived in September 2025 and determined that the burner was faulty and needed to be replaced. The part was ordered, I paid the service fee and was told to contact Bodewell when the part was delivered. The replacement part arrived, Bodewell service was scheduled and the technician replaced the burner. Unfortunately this did not correct the problem. I was not charged for the burner or a service call. Further investigation determined the problem was the auxiliary switch that controls the burner, not the burner itself. The technician identified the required replacement part, but it was listed as "no longer available" in GE's parts inventory. I then carried out an extensive online search to find the auxiliary switch from a third party vendor. I purchased the switch and it arrived in January 2026! Another service technician came out to replace the switch only to find that the switch was not the issue. After more troubleshooting it was determined that a "relay harness" was faulty. Fortunately he had a replacement part with him and once installed, the burner works as intended. This service cost $296. So, after 5 months, 3 service visits and more than $400 I finally have a fully operational electric range.

Very nice technician, however, after servicing my dryer, it still does not dry. Customer service was only able to get me a follow-up appointment to repair the dryer a week later, and did not seem to really empathize. Seems like part of the troubleshooting for repairing a dryer should be ensuring the dryer actually works prior to leaving.

Charles was professional and engaging while fixing my problem washer. It did not take very long before he realized the problem which never should have passed inspection and sent out for sale. It turned out machine was shipped without the belt and assembly. Charles was terrific but GE plant dozed that day

Kudo's to the Customer Service Agent who booked my appointment and the Repair Technician from Bodewell- both were fabulous! Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and best of all- made my experience "stress free"!👍🏆

Washer down for 10 days. Service technician arrived for the appointment within the timeframe provided. Ran diagnostics and told me I use to much soap and needed a software update which he completed. Told me everything else with the machine checked out. I paid the $202 invoice and technician left. I put a load of wash on and the machine stopped 10 minutes into the cycle. I called the technician and informed him of what occurred. He proceeded to tell me the inverter and control board need to be replaced. How did that diagnoses not show on the original diagnosis? I now need to wait another week for another appointment at which time the parts can be ordered. Customer service did not resolve the issue and I’m out $ 202 dollars.
