I had an excellent experience with Hercules stump grinding. They were responsive courteous punctual and professional. The job was quick and easy and very affordable. Clean up was excellent. I highly recommend them And I would call them again.

We had a tree stump that needed grinding in our front yard. We reached out to Hercules Stump Grinding and Gary was very professional, came by to review the job, and had the stump ground down in minutes. They cleaned the yard and you would never say there was ever a stump there. Thank you Hercules Stump Grinding, we would definitely recommend and use your services again!

I would highly recommend the team at Hercules. Responsive, thorough and professional from start to finish. Our stump was particularly challenging because it was in a spot where it could not be accessed by equipment. The team manually removed the stump and roots in a very thorough manner and efficient.

Amazing team to work with -- from start to finish everyone was friendly, professional, helpful, and responsive. We cut down a very large 100+ year old silver maple that was growing into our driveway. We called around to a few places to get the stump ground down. Many didn't call us back, some took a look at photos of the stump and said "no way," but Debbie returned my email immediately and she and Gary came out within a day or two, took one look at the beastly stump, and said they could do the job! They confidently explained how they would work the machine into place and grind the stump and flared out roots -- yes, it was a big, ugly stump that was in a pretty boxed in location (in our driveway, on a retaining wall, between two other retaining walls) but they could get the job done.

We were having our driveway demoed as a part of a larger project so we had that company come in and demo out a piece of the retaining wall that the tree was sitting on. Debbie even called us back and offered to help us find a demo company to take care of the retaining wall if our guys didn't have the time in their schedule to do it. Helping us think through the whole project like that was above and beyond but that's just the type of people the Hercules crew are: thoughtful, helpful, and looking to provide only the best service.

The day of the grinding, Gary, Dimitrios, and John arrived, set up the machine and got to work. It was quite a site watching this once mighty stump reduced to mulch and wood chips. They were thorough, efficient, and made sure to fully grind out the area we needed clear. A few of the neighbors even came by to check out the work and commented on the thoughtful set up of plywood to contain the spray of chips. At the end of the job, all the wood chips were carefully raked back into a pile, we walked through and they explained the process, confirmed we were all good, and they were off to tackle the next stump on their list.

Many thanks to the whole team. We highly recommend them and as very happy customers can confirm that it's true: "No stump is too great for the mighty Hercules!"

We had a potentially tricky stump adjacent to our septic system leaching field. Hercules was terrific--consulted in detail ahead of the job, arrived as advertised and got the stump out with due care for the adjacent underground systems and provided a ball park quote for a much larger stump in the front yard as well. Highly recommended.

Hercules Stump Grinding was fabulous to work with on a Hemlock tree stump on our property line. The grinding involved coordination with two neighbors to get access to the stump and the Hercules team was creative and thoughtful as we figured out the best timing and access points to remove the stump in the easiest way possible. They were responsive, professional and so kind. They're a family run company and everyone we interacted with was great! They'll definitely be our first call the next time we need to remove a stump. Highly recommend them!

Hercules Stump Grinding did a great job from start to finish. They provided a detailed estimate and answered all my questions ahead of time, allowing me to properly prepare my garden for their equipment. They completed the job as promised and left me with a great space for new plantings. Their clean up was excellent. The entire team/family was friendly and professional.
