I recently hired Jason to upgrade my electrical panel and replace the old knob and tube wiring in my home. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.

I had the Emporia Pro EV charger installed in my detached garage. It is somewhat of a newer technology and they handled the installation with ease. Professional crew. I definitely will call them again.

I used them when they were McGuire Electric many times, just had them install a generator switch and they were great as always. Fair price and quality work.

Jason sent Gary out to fix some switches, install some new ones and remove some live old wiring left by the last homeowner. Gary was a very pleasant and polite gentleman that really knew what he was doing. He was efficient and thorough. When finished, he brought his vacuum in and cleaned everywhere he worked. It’s difficult to find a contractor that runs a business like Roth Electric does. I will absolutely call them for my next electrical project.

Just wanted to write a review for Jason and his crew on a very hassle free job they did for us. We had an outlet plug placed for my F150 and it went extremely smoothly. Communication was great, work was done well, and site was kept clean. The crew that came was also very friendly and polite and considerate. Inspection also passed without a hitch or concern. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs anything done!

I highly recommend Roth Electric. Jason and his crew solved a mystery issue with my lamp post sensor and why it was not working /turning on at dusk. It was a hard part to find sensor due to age and low voltage connections. I really appreciate Jason finding this replacement and fixing my issue. I will be reserving all future electric business for Roth! Thank you

Roth Electrical did a fantastic job upgrading my home’s electrical service to 200 amps, installing a 100-amp sub-panel in my garage, and adding an EV charger. The entire experience was seamless—Jason provided top-notch communication throughout the process, and his work was of the highest quality. I’m extremely impressed and would highly recommend Roth Electrical for any electrical needs!

Needed my service drop raised to 10 or 12 ft above a rear entry door. Of the three estimates sought, these guys were both the cheapest and quickest. I was initially a little cautious: the job was small enough for Roth Electric to quote out via some cell phone pics and schedule literally almost next day. Jason, however, gave sufficient and professional communications, follow up, and documentation.

The crew Jason sent out were polite, professional, and did a very clean job. They operated out of a relatively clean, branded and marked van and left no mess.

City inspector approved the inspection a few days later, and now I can get my other permits inspected and approved.

Took a referral from an Oak Park FB group. Felt a little risky after a cell-phone pic quote and seemingly too-good-to-be-true scheduling, but would feel comfortable recommending these guys elsewhere in Oak Park. I would approach them, again, for similar work.

Jason was able to get me in to fix a problem with one of my plugs. He was very professional and communicated everything perfectly. Dave was the tech who came out and he was able to pinpoint the issue immediately and fix it. He did a great job at keeping my household clean and explained what he was doing. He did only what was necessary and I was charged a more than fair price for the repair. I’m very happy with my experience!

We have been using Roth Electric for the past 3 years for all of our electrical needs. Jason and his team are extremely professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. They always do an excellent job of cleaning up behind themselves. I got a medicine cabinet installed and was very happy with Dave and his helper. Dave provided top notch customer service. I will continue to be a repeat customer.

A phenomenal job completed by an absolute professional electrician and apprentice. A superb explanation and description of all work to be performed during the estimate sealed the deal due to his professionalism. During the job, he took the time and patience with all my questions, which isn't easy to do because I am fascinated with all aspects of engineering, mechanics and materials and I tend to inquire about the details, but he explained everything to the fullest. His adroitness and ability were outstanding along with his apprentice. The cost was well within the lower range of what I thought it would be because I had to have some extra things completed to code due to my very old system, so the price was fantastic and one has to remember that you are paying for experience, knowledge, and skill, and you can't really put a price on that. Peace of mind is priceless.

Jason was quick to respond to my inquiry. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I needed some switches, outlets, and fixtures replaced as well as upgrading and installing new fire/co2 alarms throughout my home. He knew exactly what to recommend and was very helpful with the process. Devon and Gary did a great job with all the installation and upgrades. Jason and his team of professionals have been a breath of fresh air to deal with! We needed a bunch of electrical work done for a bathroom remodel that we were managing and he made that part SO EASY. We ended up unexpectedly needing a new main panel and even though this was an expense we hadn’t planned for, he did the additional work quickly and at a great price. Roth was great to work with! They came initially for a free assessment and were very clear about what needed to be done and why. When they arrived for the service they were punctual, very polite, and did an excellent job!
