Is absolutely amazing! Both times we've had to call we had an emergency! Water going everywhere and brand new home owners with no clue where anything is. No shut off valve nothing. Came out ASAP and has done an amazing job, plus prices are definitely fair Would recommend to everyone!!

We had lost hot water, and when I went to the basement to check the water heater, I saw it was leaking pretty bad. I gave Mark a call and he was out at my house THE NEXT MORNING.

Edit: I forgot to say he was the only plumber to guide me through how to properly turn of my power to the heater and water to the heater over the phone.

Not only that, but he had delivered a new heater and installed it in ONE HOUR. We were told by our friends that it’s a 4-5 hour endeavor.

Not only that but he loaded up the old heater and took it away FOR FREE.

The BEST possible experience I’ve ever had with a contractor, let alone a plumber.

He showed up clean, happy and got right to work.

We’ll be using Mark for all of our plumbing needs from here on out.

Oh and he was the lowest bid for a new water heater.

This guy is great! I had a small job that needed immediate attention. I called my regular plumber and was told maybe in two weeks. What? I called Mark and he was at my home in an hour. It was a simple job that he performed quickly and professionally. This is the guy to call.

I have had excellent service and repairs done by Van Der Sande twice now. Once they had came out on the same day and replaced a valve for my washing machine, and again they came out just recently to replace a sump pump before my basement flooded. Quick service, very professional, personable and very reasonable pricing. I definitely recommend them and will be using them for all of my future plumbing repairs.

Mark was friendly, knowledgeable and promptly on time when my husband and I were experiencing a leak under our kitchen sink. It was after hours but Mark answered immediately and arrived at our home at time specified. He helped clearly communicate our issues before going ahead with any repairs. He also fit and installed new drain piping/p-trap under our sink. We will be reaching out to him for any future needs and also recommend him to friends and family.

Totally impressed with Mark's work ethic. He believes in doing things properly, timely and he is an extremely great guy. I've owned many homes and met many plumbers. This guy will not take advantage of you or the situation. I feel very fortunate to have met him and was very impressed.

We needed to remove a 30 year old bathroom faucet and install a new one. My husband worked an entire day on trying to get the old one out and couldn't. We called Van Der Sande Plumbing in Tecumseh and he called me back right away (remarkable) and came and did all the work the next morning (amazing)!!! I now have a beautiful new functional faucet installed 🤩 He even cleaned off the old marks around the old faucet! (Impressive)
By the way, we also called other plumbers in the area and they either didn’t call back or couldn’t come for weeks.
Van Der Sande Plumbing provided excellent service and expertise and he is a really a super nice guy! This company prioritizes local customers. 😊

I would recommend Mark a hundred times over. He installed a new tankless hot water heater for me. He was amazing. He was reasonably priced, prompt, clean, efficient, friendly, respectful of me and my house, and took the time to answer all my questions and make sure I knew how to operate and maintain the new heater. And he talked to me like I had a brain, no mansplaining or eye rolling, even when he had to repeat things. I will definitely be using him for any future plumbing needs.

Unfortunately, I regret trusting their 4+ star reviews as we did not have the same experience as others. We have no problem paying top dollar for quality service, but $1307 for converting 20 feet of old PVC into PEX was overpriced, especially since the end result did not even look professionally done. The lines are hanging in the crawl space instead of neatly secured, they failed to clean up after themselves, left parts scattered throughout, and were not mindful of their boots tracking mud everywhere. Overall, it looked very rushed. For the same result, I wish we would’ve just hired a less-qualified handyman for a quarter of the price.
