A couple of years ago I had hail damage to my house. The owner of Smart Construction came over to talk to me and show me the damage. I connected him with my insurance company and it was easy. I didn't have to get in the middle and pass messages back and forth. Smart did all the work for me. The discovered I needed more work on my roof and got it taken care of with no issues. They helped me find a company that would replace my two awnings. When rain was a possibility, I made one call and they were out right away and covered the roof with a tarp to ensure I would not have rain damage inside. It was a pleasure to work with both of the owners. I recommend them to everyone I talk to. Thank you Smart Construction for making the process so easy.

Gary was professional and responsive with all communication. He helped guide us through our insurance company for our roof replacement and took us through every step. We didn't have to wait to get the work done. The only wait time was on our insurance company. The crew was on time and had the entire roof done in 2 days. Very pleased overall!!

I highly recommend these guys. We were having a difficult time getting the insurance company to approve our roof. On the recommendation of our neighbor we called Gary at smart construction. He handled the whole claim process and Constantine managed the project. We are very happy with the result. The roof looks beautiful and was installed professionally and on time. We will definitely be calling them for other projects.

He was patient with us and when we weren’t sure about something he explained it in a way we could understand. He was very personable which made everything much less stressful. We had a great experience with Vadim at Smart Construction!! They pretty much took care of everything with insurance, and made it a priority to get us in before the cold sets in for winter!! They were very respectful of the property and cleaned up after themselves. They got the job done it 2 days and it looks amazing!!!! 😁 so very happy with my experience!!!

The SMART construction team were great to work with. A year or two ago they checked my roof after storms. I was so impressed with them that when I did have damage, they were my first call. The service I received from Gary and the team was top notch. They went above and beyond when replacing my roof and gutters due to storm and wind damage. I had a spot in my roof that needed repair, not part of the storm damage, and they did it at no additional cost. Not to mention that when Gary saw some of my siding was loose from recent wind, he pulled his ladder out and fixed it right on the spot, the project didn't include the siding. That is great service! I will always recommend Gary and Smart Construction!

I had hail and wind damage from storms that ripped through my neighborhood. I had never dealt with a claim on my homeowners insurance, but Gary was very helpful walking us through the process! He was very thorough explaining how the process works and gave realistic expectations and timelines for everything. He was also very knowledgeable, he was able to communicate effectively with our insurance company to get coverage for things the claims assessor missed in their report. When insurance wouldn't cover all of the siding and we were faced with the possibility of having mismatch siding, Gary and his team came up with a solution that made the house look better and more aesthetically pleasing. They were great and I will definitely be using them in the future for other projects.

Our home was heavily damaged in a storm. We set up a claim with our insurance company but were having a difficult time coming to terms with them. After considering several construction companies to go with, we decided to hire Smart Construction. This turned out to be a wonderful decision.
This company is respected in the industry. We appreciate their honesty and expertise throughout the entire process. They dealt with our insurance company directly, and things went very smoothly after their involvement. Smart Construction replaced our roof, siding, gutters, windows, etc. We also decided to do some upgrades, so they made significant structural changes to our home as well. Their work was top-notch.
From the very beginning, from our first meeting with the design team at their office in Blaine (worth a visit just for the cool things they’ve done there) to the end of the project, we were very impressed. They are truly a professional company.
The workers were all friendly and knowledgeable, and they were experts in their craft. The Smart Construction team worked clean (considering the magnitude of the job, it was very impressive how tidy they kept things), efficiently, skillfully and made sure to do everything the right way.
