I am a real estate professional in Lee's Summit. Not only do I rely on A&D for myself but I refer my clients as well. They always provide excellent service and fair prices.

Thank you for being a honest HVAC shop. We have been your customer several times over the years. Your people, work, prices and courteousness have been great.

Outstanding experience with this company. They are incredibly honest and Robert is the best HVAC technician I have ever worked with. He was incredibly patient and his work is beyond your expectations.

I initially called this company for maintenance on my AC. While here they discovered a problem that likely went back to the initial installation. I had bought this unit from another larger local AC company. Robert really knew his trade. He fixed the issue and I couldn't be happier. Great company. Great service. I highly recommend!!

The value I got for my money was unmatched! I found everyone that I dealt with at A&D to be extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful! Great company that I have already referred family to and they have been just as happy!

A & D Heating and Cooling installed my AC, furnace, and hot water heater today. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with this company. Dave, along with his installers (Matt and Ely), were courteous, prompt, and professional. In addition, they made certain that I was educated about my new equipment. Thank you, all, for a job well done!

Due to two storm surges/lightening strikes this past summer, we have had to repair our aging air conditioner twice. ROBERT has been our serviceman and has been out several times for diagnostic and repair. I value someone who has good customer service skills, doesn't hard-sell, and educates me on maintenance and choices for replacement/repair while keeping my budget in mind. Robert exceeded my expectations in a service person. While our 19 yr old unit will need replacing soon, he, along with prior A & D service people we've had out for repairs and maintenance, has kept it working safely and efficiently. And bonus-- person who takes the calls, Kathy, was also very helpful and courteous!

I've used A&D to service my a/c and furnace and they have always done great. I decided to finally replace the old units because my A/C was struggling. The install was great and the office was very helpful. Very happy with the work and our new A/C is working much better.

They were great to work with. My elderly mother's furnace quit unexpectedly. I called and they came out the same day.
The technician was very friendly and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had the necessary replacement parts with him and had the furnace running again quickly. -
Knowledgeable staff with the ability to provide what I needed.

They're no longer in business, went out the beginning of 2022.

A&D Heating and Cooling was the company utilized by Pfeifer Homes for the heating and air conditioning work. Installation was about average. Our house is not 120 days old. Had some issues, however once Dave the owner got involved we got the issues resolved. Thanks Dave for resolving the problems

is A&D out of business.. I had them come out a year or so ago and tried calling this year, but both phone numbers for them are disconnected.

Update and reduced rating: they are Honest, provide Good Service, Best value for the price, However their back office is disorganized and they don't submit your rebate paperwork to kcpl, even despite multiple calls to them and with kcpl! This is very frustrating as it is $600 rebate that all the larger companies would have processed effectively.
A week ago our heat pump was damaged and we were expecting a new born baby, in the next 1-2 days, we needed honest help fast. We called A & D Heating and Cooling to first help us diagnose the problem as they had helped us for the first time the previous winter when an outdoor hp fan burnt out in which they came and fixed it, the next day, and they were very reasonable.
Tuesday they confirmed that our prior unit had been damaged by workers and gave us options for repair and replace.
We were given multiple options in replacements from the closest SEER efficiency of our current unit, to better to best. They are also Preferred with KCPL and helped me get a rebate on the replacement.
*****update- this was a bummer. Now I'm having to make call after call to get this completed 3 months later.
After meeting with the tech WHO DOES THE WORK, not a salesmen you'll never see again. He reviewed my options: savings and advantages of each. By showing me the advantages of each he left me to decide which one fit us best. The math made my decision but first before making a big investment I just needed to get a couple competing bids.
I had 2 other companies come and give us bids, before deciding on which unit and company- everyone else sent a salesmen (that was yes, extremely convincing, but their price was a ton more for the same products). I called AJ.
Upon arriving they found that the original home builders had cut corners in the original install and they were going to have to do a lot more work then they thought. No one penny more- did they charge me! They had up to 3 guys, here to help and completed it all in 1 day.
They were the BEST Price, however without rebate , no longer but I'm sure eventually I'll get it. Best quality and I would still recommend.

I was gathering a few estimates last year to replace my 30 year old A/C unit. I had a company from Liberty and Grandview drive out to Greenwood, check my existing system to ensure it was adequately sized for my house and give me estimates. I found A&D's website on a Sunday and filled out their service request/contact form on their site and two business days later, still no call. I called them and asked for an estimate and the guy on the phone asks me for the size of my existing condenser and the square footage of my house (I knew both) and he gave me an estimate over the phone....to me, this was just plain lazy as I live within a mile of their shop. They lost my business for failing to contact me and for not providing me the courteous of a visual inspection of my existing system with the estimate.
