They return your call, confirm by email and show up on time. This is the second year I have used them to trim a tree and have been completely satisfied.

Alan has been keeping an eye on my property’s tree health for over 15 years now. He has never recommended unnecessary work and has a keen eye for potential issues. About two weeks ago, I noticed a declining tree in my front yard and called for a consultation. Sure enough the tree needed to be removed and Alan walked the property to check for any other issues. In our backyard, he noted what looked to me like a perfectly healthy tree as being in decline, pointed out a dangerous branch that needed to come down and showed me the signs of the disease taking hold. He estimated it would need to come down entirely in another 4-5 years. We decided to have it removed along with the other tree in decline. Work was scheduled for the following week.

Then we had that severe thunderstorm a week ago and guess which tree lost its entire canopy? The tree that looked healthy but was actually in decline. It had all those leaves to catch the wind but was weak inside and broke right off. Alan is truly an expert and I appreciate it when pros offer services only when necessary. That is how you create loyal long-term clients who have faith you aren’t just trying to run up a bill.

The crew was also professional, courteous, safety conscious, and cleaned the property impeccably when they were done. Five-star job all around. I highly recommend Alan and Beyond the Leaf without reservation.

I used Beyond the Leaf To do some trimming of large branches on my trees to let in more light. They did a great job and were very neat without damaging any of the plants in my beds nor my lawn, which was important to me. They were also very obliging regarding taking off more branches if needed. I would definitely recommend them.

Great experience from initial review of the project with Dave to scheduling with Karen and through the onsite workday with German and team. We were concerned about the safety of our home as well as ensuring the grass and driveway weren't damaged - the team delivered on all fronts and watching the crane safely remove large pieces of tree was impressive. Team was super efficient and clean up after the job was nothing sort of amazing. Highly recommend them for any significant tree work and very glad that we didn't entrust this job to just any joker with a chain saw.

Excellent job and great clean up too. My neighbor allowed them to use their driveway to cut down a massive dead tree on my property and they cleaned up without leaving a mark on their property.

Dave arrived and walked the property, listening attentively to my concerns and created a detailed, complete plan to address them. I promptly received an accurate, itemized estimate for extensive work at an agreeable price. Dave along with his personable team of German, Jose, Benito, and Johnny arrived on time and efficiently completed the outlined work. My project entailed trimming very large trees including Norway, Blue Spruce, Cherry, and Holly as well as Viburnum and Rhododendron shrubs. My yard was cleared of all debris and left in excellent condition. Before presenting my bill I was asked if I was satisfied with the work. I definitely will be maintaining my trees and shrubs with this company their attention to detail and polite, efficient work ethic is top notch.

My experience began by engaging with Arborist, Dave Wagner - knowledgeable and informative. He allowed me to make an educated decision that was best for my project. As a community manager, having tree work done at your site can make a manager very nervous! It is very important to find a vendor that you can trust to ensure that the project and cleanup both go smoothly and safely. I am so thankful that I found this company to assist me. Not only are they professional, insightful, and one of the best in the business - they will treat your site like their own backyard. We consulted Beyond the Leaf after a very large maple tree came down unexpectedly in June. We wanted their arborist, Dave Wagner, to look at other trees on our property to assess their health. Dave conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the trees we had questions about and developed a plan for pruning/trimming them. The team that arrived at our house carried out the plan in a professional, courteous, and expeditious manner. Clean up was excellent. We would definitely use Beyond the Leaf again.

Three dead trees removed, two of them very large. professional service, and good cleanup. Definitely recommend!

BTL crew was very friendly, very professional, and operated in an efficient and very safe manner. Work was completed beyond what I expected. Cost was not the lowest, but was quite reasonable and work was exceptional. A quality and professional company.

I spoke with David to setup a day for him to walk around my yard and determine what was a priority. He is very knowledgeable, patient and answered all of my questions. He was so good at what he does, I thought he owned the company… he doesn’t 😁
I got my quote the next day, and the crew showed up the following week. They took good care of my property, cleaned up after themselves, and did everything we agreed to… with excellence!!! This is the company you want to hire for any tree work you have.

I highly recommend Beyond The Leaf. I called several companies to try to get an estimate only to get connected to answering services so I left many messages. Days later only half returned my call. That same day I called Beyond the Leaf and to my great surprise, they answered their phone live on the first try. This was very refreshing. They took my info and had an estimator to my property that very same day. He gave me a very fair price for the work I needed done so I agreed to proceed with the work. Nothing shady about this company too. No money up front. Pay only after the job is done to my satisfaction. When the crew arrived to do the work they were friendly, efficient and professional. They did the job exactly as I wished, asked me if I was satisfied and gave me the opportunity to review and fine tune the work if I wanted to. They did a great job from start to finish and were very thorough in their cleanup as well.

Best tree service I've experienced in Hunterdon County NJ. and I have a lot of trees. This company is top rate, professional, quality workers who know how to trim large trees, and they have all the necessary equipment to get the job done efficiently! It was such a pleasure to work with everyone - from the initial consultation with David, the arborist, the scheduler/office manager, Karen and the amazing crew of German, Jose, Jose M. Benito and Johnny. This company is truly unique in going above and beyond with its expertise, performance, customer service, follow up and professionalism throughout. It is so refreshing and appreciated! I don't think I have ever been so pleased in working with any service!

David is so respectful and knowledgeable. He immediately created a feeling of trust. He always answered all of my questions and tackled all minor issues that I had head on, never trying to avoid and even reminded me how he would take care of them. He made sure he offered me the most affordable service possible. He reached out to me and followed up on everything until it was completely resolved to my satisfaction. It was obvious that he takes great pride in his work. He even jumps in and does hands on work whenever necessary.

Karen was also exceptional in truly caring about scheduling as soon as she possibly could, and following up, always treating me with respect. She would even call as soon as a cancellation came up to see if it would work for me. It was obvious that she valued my business and went out of her way in any way that she could. She is a very pleasant person who is excellent at customer service, never gets flustered and it is clear that she is also is proud to represent her company.

I also cannot say enough about the crew. I was watching them throughout. They removed 2 very large trees, two smaller ones and did a significant amount of pruning on 2 others. Most importantly, it was evident that they were very focused on the safety of their team, always working quickly yet making sure everything was in place to protect and cover for each other. They followed the instructions from David very closely and did a nice clean up afterwards. They appeared to respect and enjoy each other and were also respectful and professional at all times towards me. Again, they also took great pride in their work and wanted to make sure I was satisfied.

I did my own research to find Beyond the Leaf and I am so happy I did. I had used another company previously that significantly overcharged me, was disrespectful and, in the end, did not care about my business. I have, and will, continue to recommend Beyond the Leaf to my friends and neighbors with flying colors -from beginning of the job to the end. They will work with you because they value your business and are proud of the service their company provides.

I was very happy with the Beyond The Leaf team's service and their rates were fair. I had an out-of-control tree that needed trimming. They provided good communication, their own equipment, were right on time, and cleaned up the area. They did a good job trimming and they were gracious enough to answer some questions on a few other things. They even showed me how to trim a few of my other woody bushes. I really appreciated that. I would use them again and would recommend. Alan, Karen, German, Jose, Benito, Jose M., and Johnny were a good team and I was glad they came to the Califon area for service.

When you hire "Beyond the Leaf", they will go above and beyond. Their sales Arborist David was informative and very understanding about our budget. He educated me so that I could make the best decisions. From their office staff, arborist and crew - they all were top notch. They have all the equipment so that you don't have to wait for anything to be completed by someone else, like stump grinding. Neat, respectful and thorough. They get a A+++ rating.

If you are searching for a tree removable/stump grinding company look no more. This company does a fantastic job from start to finish! It starts with contact with Karen, the office manager (who always keeps you updated throughout the process) and Dave, who will come out and inspect your project, provide very sound professional advice and present you with a very fair price quote.
The crew arrived on time and was led by the team leader, German. The setup, removal and cleanup was flawless. Each employee knew their job and worked non-stop until the area was spotless. Dave and his team at Beyond The Leaf did an amazing job from start to finish with taking down a large tree next to the road for me . With creative thinking and skill, they were able to drop the tree onto my property. Additionally, they were able to keep the price super low by not having to use big machinery. Would highly recommend!!!
