Review for MTZ Electric Company Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) If I could give zero stars, I would. While the actual workers were professional and did a great job with the labor, dealing with the owner, Manny, has been an absolute nightmare. I made the mistake of paying the full balance in cash before the final inspection was complete. We met at the bank where I handed him $8,000 directly from the teller and another $2,000 in the parking lot. He counted the parking lot cash but chose not to count the bank-provided funds at the time. Now, he is baselessly accusing me of being short $2,000. Beyond the financial accusations, the professionalism is non-existent: * Unfinished Labor: He left the gas and electric trenches wide open. I had to cover them myself. * Incorrect Placement: The gas line needs to be relocated 18 inches, and rather than fixing his mistake, I am stuck handling it. * Rude Communication: When I try to discuss these issues, he is incredibly disrespectful and has hung up on me twice. Word of advice: If you hire this company, do NOT pay a cent until the final inspection is passed and every trench is filled. Better yet, be very careful dealing with Manny—his lack of integrity and poor attitude turned a smooth project into a total mess. I did call the bank and they reviewed the surveillance cameras and confirmed me that he get his money.

This person should not even have this business if he doesn’t provide proper customer service. Been waiting months for him to come back and give me a letter for my inspection so that I can get the electricity on my house. Really bad at his job

Don't waist your time with this company. They give you the run around and take forever to do the job. Everything is a lie with them. They say they will be there one day and take up to 5 days to show up. A one week work frame turned out to be a month. They will show up for work for an hour, then take off without giving you notice and come back after a week. Manny wont answer your calls and if he does, he makes you feel like it's your fault and gets mad at you.
