I have been receiving saving offers for awhile now from my water company, on the purchase of a Rachio3 sprinkler controller. My rain sensor has never worked properly, new batteries in them or not? My sprinklers would go on if there was 3 feet of rain coming down! Rachio is Wi-Fi, and works from your smart phone or computer, and claims to save water and money for it's consumers! Before I bought the Rachio3, I asked them for some names of companies who would install the controller, one of the names they gave me was TOTAL LANDSCAPE in Bellmore NY. Before buying the Rachio3, I called TOTAL LANDSCAPE and asked how much to install? They gave me what I thought a reasonable price and I agreed to have them install the Rachio3 for me. I was told they are busy and the job would be done in a couple of weeks from now. I said fine, I will go ahead and order the controller and I would let them know when I receive it. When I received the controller, I called TOTAL LANDSCAPE and spoke to the same woman. She told me they would install it by the end of next week, I said great! Well, next week came and went, and NOTHING! No phone call from this company letting me know anything! This week I called twice and left messages trying to find out what is happening? I even said in my message "if you cannot do the job please let me know and I will call someone else! " NOTHING, no response what soever! What kind of a company does that to a potential customer? Not a good caring company in my book, for sure! If you're to busy, just say so, don't leave people hanging! The Rachio company says it's easy to install yourself? My problem is I'm a handicapped Senior Citizen and it's very hard for me to go up and down stairs to my basement where the sprinkler controller is. For a company to LEAVE a customer hanging, not knowing if your coming or not is just WRONG! To not answer messages left by a customer is ALSO WRONG! In my opinion, anyone looking to do business with this company should think twice, and look for another company as I am doing!

I only have great things to say about Old Mill Nursery! As people pass our home, they always compliment us on our landscaping. Old Mill planned out all of the plants with me, making sure I got what I liked and what would look good with our house. They always do our Spring & Fall clean up. The men are very respectful and do a great job! It is always my pleasure to recommend them.

I started going to Old Mill as they had higher quality plants and flowers than most stores in the area. Upon visiting I found out they also offer planting and irrigation services. They offer fair prices on planting and any issues encountered they are quick to respond to and resolve. Ultimately I trust Old Mill to perform the job to my satisfaction and to quickly resolve any issues encountered. Their partners/subcontractors in the stump/tree grinding business are honest and offered advice as opposed to just taking on a job that didn’t make sense affording me better options and a plan forward. The fall discount is also a great addition and one worth taking advantage of. I plan on using Old Mill again and may consider exploring some of their additional services outside of landscaping and irrigation in the future

Old Mill was wonderful. They came and changed the entire look of my home. John came to the house and met with me personally and listened to what I wanted my house to look like. He came up with the perfect landscape design and I couldn’t be happier. The backyard is an oasis to escape and the front yard looks neat, clean and inviting. One tree flowers with a beautiful pink flower and the perfect accent to the house. I absolutely love the level of care and dedication the team has to ensuring I am always satisfied with all of the work they complete. I highly recommend Old Mill Nurseries for all landscaping needs.
