I can't say enough wonderful things about this company, from the owner to the employees! I just wanted my bathroom sink and vanity changed -simple job. After reaching out to several different companies, some which didn't even respond and most wouldn't come out to give me a quote unless I paid an upfront fee of over $100 - Tidal Plumbing made it simple! Free estimate and scheduled the install at a time convenient for me. I was given an HONEST estimate and an HONEST time frame for the work to be done. I would recommend Tidal to any and everyone who asks for plumbing services - simple or complicated/involved job.

Tidal Plumbing and Heating installed two faucets and reworked the drains in my kitchen. They did a great job and the workers were very professional. They showed up on time said and got right to work.
The work came out great and looks perfect.

I hired this company to do my Local 152 gas inspection for my building, it was a great experience. They were on time for the appointment, explained the entire process, and answered all my questions. I found Tidal Plumbing after a couple of my neighbors used another company that was less expensive but caused them headaches with paperwork and Con Edison. I'm glad I found an honest company.

I hired Tidal Plumbing to do a Local Law 152 gas line inspection for my property in Brooklyn. I live out of state so I thought as usual it was going to be a battle with another contractor, from the office staff to the inspector that showed up it was a seamless expirence. Everything was done over phone and emails, communication was always great. Very professional.

We hired Tidal plumbing to repair our shower faucet in our co-op. We contacted other plumbers, but they didn't have a Master plumber's license or proper insurance. Sunny provided us with all of the paperwork for our board. His men came on time and did everything as expected. We appreciated their efficiency especially since it's so hard to come by-- will definitely recommend.

Sunny and his crew went above and beyond SEVERAL TIMES for us and we are so grateful for all their help and service. One example: we had a separate issue with DEP that had nothing to do with the work being done by them. We picked Sunny’s brain for guidance. He reached out to us on a Friday evening and gave us extremely helpful advice that ended up saving us thousands of dollars in unnecessary work that DEP wanted us to do. In the midst of a harsh winter, we experienced a gas pipe leakage that resulted in a complete shutdown of our heat and hot water by Con Edison. The project was extensive, requiring the replacement of all the pipes throughout our two-story house and the completion of tedious paperwork with DOB and Con Edison. Hiring Tidal Plumbing & Heating was a huge relief. Sunny, Matt, and the team were responsible and accessible, providing exceptional services with a high level of professionalism, honesty, and reliability. Let me begin with saying that Tidal are excellent! Every step of the way they have been helpful, responsive, informative and truly professional. We had an issue with a gas leak which was handled badly by the first person who we had to come and deal with the problem which made dealing with National Grid an absolute nightmare. I was fortunate enough to come across Tidal who helped me navigate the complex system to get my gas leak situation solved which included dealing with the department of buildings and National Grid. It was a nightmare but Sunny and his team got everything done professionally and efficiently. And when I had another issue recently with gas, he had his guys out within 24 hours and they resolved it with a smile. The thing that struck me the most is that at every turn, I felt they genuinely cared and weren't trying to nickel and dime me. That speaks volumes. Not only will I use them again, but I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors! Five stars for sure.

Sunny and Tidal Plumbing are hands down the most courteous, professional and honest company I have ever dealt with.
Con Ed was threatening to shut down my gas line and I called Sunny over to help me. He walked me through all the steps and told me how to work with Con Ed so my line would not get cut off.
Turns out Con Ed was able to do the work for me and I did not need Tidal Plumbing's services.
Once I told Sunny what was done he immediately told me that he did not need to come out to do the work and gave me a full refund of my deposit. Most companies would have either kept all or part of my deposit, or would have come to do the unnecessary work just to collect the rest of the money.
I will not hesitate to call on Sunny again if I ever need work done in my home. You don't find many companies that will be as honest as Tidal Plumbing. I highly recommend you to call Sunny and his team if you ever need plumbing work done in your home!

I hired Tidal Plumbing & Heating when my gas was turned off by Con Ed. They handled everything from pulling the permits, scheduling appointments with the DOB and Con Ed and repairing everything so that it would pass inspection. They were extremely responsive, courteous and easy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend using them for gas issues or anything else.

My toilet was rocking badly (actually, it would move from side to side). It turns out the flange below my toilet broke and a new one needed to be welded back on and the toilet replaced. I saw other great reviews from Tidal so I called them. Joanne, the receptionist, was pleasant and efficient. And very knowledgeable. And, best part, they were able to come repair the toilet in a day. The price they gave me was very fair. They also had to go an extra step and submit paperwork to co-op building in order to perform the work. They did this efficiently and timely. The repair itself was quick and they were very neat. I wasn’t in the apartment at the time of the repair(although my super checked in and was pleased with their work), and Sunny called me afterwards to check in and review the invoice. The price was exactly what they quoted me, no surprises at the end of the job like some other contractors. I priced out the repair with a few other companies before I found Tidal, and some were either double the price, or they weren’t able to fit me into their schedule for days out. I feel very lucky and grateful to have found Tidal. My super was so pleased that he said he will refer the rest of the apartment complex to Tidal from now on.

I got the name of Tidal Plumbing & Heating off the Better Business Bureau site for recommendations of local plumbers and was pleased they handled my request promptly & quoted me an accurate price over the phone. I discovered I needed the same repair work of the shut off valves in the kitchen as in the bathroom and they were flexible enough to handle all my plumbing problems professionally in an hour. They were on time which was important as I had to coordinate with the cooperative apartment building workers to shut the water off in the building to complete the repairs. I would recommend them highly for their professionalism, skill and fair price and will cal them again for my plumbing and heating needs in the future.

I used Tidal plumbing for replacing new gas boiler and hot water heater. Matt was very knowledgeable, he and his crews arrived on schedule and went right to work. The way they connected all the pipes looks much better and more neat than before. I also appreciate the company offers a free 3 years boiler maintenance included on the services contract. They cleaned up all debris after the job completed. A big thank you to Matt, his team and also Joann for responsiveness and coordination. My family hired Tidal Plumbing to do the new 152 gas inspection. They did it on 3 buildings. The inspector was very polite and informed us what to upgrade in the near future. Their prices were fair. The office staff were very informative and polite as well. I would hire them again.

I reached out to Tidal Plumbing after searching for a Master Plumber to do a NYC Local Law 152 gas piping inspection. I did my due diligence before selecting a master plumber. Tidal Plumbing had an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau website, there were no disciplinary violations on the DOB website, they are licensed and insured and had great reviews. I made an appointment on their website and received a confirmation of the appointment shortly thereafter. I then received a written quote and contract via email.

Sunny and Mark came to my house to do the scheduled inspection. They were very responsive, knowledgeable, and experienced professionals.

During the inspection, they pointed out a small issue with the pipes that needed to be fixed (i.e. - wobbly pipes; missing clamps) and thoroughly explained what needed to be done and why. They gave me a quote. At my request, they returned a week later to fix the issue. They sent me the completed GPS2 form required by the DOB that same day.

While they were at my house, I pointed out to them a water leak near the washing machine in my basement that I noticed before they arrived. They determined that it wasn't from the washing machine. They checked the bathrooms on each floor and found out where the leak was coming from. It was from a crack in a very old pipe. They will be returning to fix that shortly.

We hired Tidal Plumbing after having a horrible experience with two plumbers that lasted 18 months, and were never able to complete the job. We were in a very difficult process to have our gas turned on and needed inspections from the DOB and Con Ed. It took Sonny only two weeks to get our gas turned on!! No issues at all everything was submitted on time and appointments were made and kept quickly. I wish I would have hired him last year it would have avoided us a whole winter with no heat. We are extremely happy and relived this is over thanks to Sonny and Tidal Plumbing.

Had a problem with Con Ed shutting off my gas. After calling 3-4 plumbers that wouldn't return my call for this type of job, Sunny from Tidal came to the rescue. He filed the DOB permits for gas turn on upgraded internal lines to code coordinated with Con Ed for a new meter and gas turn on. During the 3 month process Sunny was outstanding to deal with. He updated me frequently and promptly answered all my texts and calls. Sunny proved he is an invaluable resource, I truly recommend him. Give him a call and you wont be disappointed!

The Tidal Plumbing team handled everything from pulling permits, setting up the appointments and repairing anything that needed to be repaired with a very Professional and Courteous manner.
