James' Heating and Air came within an hour of our call on a Saturday and restored our heat quickly. Wonderful service.

These folks are the best. More like calling a friend who just happens to be an HVAC expert. I get regular maintenance and service when I need it quickly and at a reasonable cost.

I had a new unit installed in January. If the air conditioner works as good as the heat it will be perfect. This house has never been so comfortable.

Excellent, fast service. Came out for a diagnosis on Friday, replaced the part the same day and had us warm in time for the chilly weather. Can't recommend enough!

Called recently as my heat pump wasn't working. A tech was out within 10 minutes, and had the problem resolved within another 10. Excellent stuff.

Our 16 year old commercial air conditioner at Colonial Traditions in Mebane went out in the afternoon, by the next day we had a brand new 5 ton Trane gas pack installed perfectly, up and running! James Heating & Air is by far the BEST heating and air company in this area! Friendly staff, fast response time and always a fair price...we have been using them for years and they never fail to amaze us with their awesome customer service and competitive pricing! The service guys were great to work with we had a new heating and air unit installed. Cleaned up any mess they made right away. I would highly suggest you call them if you are looking for heating and air company.

My ac was not working. Called James heating and air. They cleared the drain. All was well. It clogged again. Called back and on the second trip it was determined that when my house was redone. They buried the drain line and it had no where to drain. The man dug it free and all is well

They do a great job of maintaining my most valued possession -- the HVAC unit (particularly the air conditioning!) -- through regular maintenance, and, when necessary, emergency calls.

My a/c went out last night. Got up and called this morning at 8 am. By 11 am our air was fixed.

Appreciate the fast turn around, with 3 kids and a dog in July heat.

I called the office and they were able to schedule our first maintenance visit that same week. William showed up on time and was very personable and explained the system and what he found. We will use James Heating and A/C for our future needs.

Home AC unit stopped working, called that morning and they had a technician out in a couple hours. Told me what I needed, and gave me a price. No up sale, no trying to get over. I will use them again if I ever have an issue.

After my AC stopped working on a Tuesday night, and I spent Wednesday troubleshooting the normal homeowner maintenance things that should be my responsibility (clogged drain, air filters, etc.), I gave James' Heat&Air a call on Thursday morning. They had a tech out to my door within an hour and a half. The tech narrowed down the problem to a "smart" circuit board for my 2-zone system and said he would have someone call back with a quote. When my wife got the call back, she was told the part number and they also told her that it would be an easy part for me to replace myself (my wife mentioned to the technician that I have an electronics background). Fast-forward to Saturday afternoon, when my replacement circuit board arrived. I swapped the part and the problem persisted. I called James Heat&Air back and got the weekend on-call technician, Dennis. He came out about 30 minutes later and was an absolute delight to work with. After some quick troubleshooting, he was able to figure out that the zone controller wasn't actually the problem. There was a short in another part causing the "smart" controller to go into a safety mode, which made the controller APPEAR to be failing. A few short minutes later, Dennis returned from a run to the shop with a new part and had me up and running. Dennis was very apologetic about the mis-diagnosis from the previous tech. When I called the office to find out what the bill for the weekend off-hours call would be, the gentleman on the phone (who I think was the owner) apologized again for the initial mis-diagnosis and waived the fee for the weekend call.

That's what I look for in a service facility. Their prices were reasonable at the onset. The technician I spoke with was knowledgeable and friendly (especially for a Saturday evening call). Even when a mistake was made, the management did all they could to make it right.

James has earned my business if I ever have HVAC problems in the future. I'd especially like to thank Dennis again for his great service. I'd definitely recommend these guys, based on this experience.

Our air went out in the middle of the night and the temperature had risen quickly. James had someone at our door at 8 am and solved our problem in no time. This wonderful company has been our go to for heat and air for years and they always do an amazing job!

Our heating and air unit went out for good late last week and I called James Heating and Air. They came out to give me a quote within the hour that I called and ordered my new unit the same day.

They said they would be there bright and early on Tuesday to install it because it was going to be 18 degrees Tuesday night. That Tuesday it was raining like crazy and they were still there on time! They installed our unit and made sure the we were good to go with everything we needed to stay warm that night. It literally poured on them the whole time they were there.

You will not find customer service like James Heating and Air at one of those giant chain companies that service the entire state. Mebane is lucky to have these guys. Thanks again Jay for helping to keep my family warm this week!

I’m so glad I called James’ Heating and Air for my hvac issue. Same day service and arrived hours earlier than expected, and got our air conditioning back on quickly! We are so grateful! Reasonable pricing and even charged me less than I was expecting. They’ve earned a lifelong customer for going above and beyond in the middle of a pandemic. I will highly recommend them to anyone who needs an hvac pro in my area.
