Their service man, Jake, was thorough and explained everything in layman’s terms. Gave us an estimate to replace and/or repair our unit. Price was below others that we had look at our unit. Can’t recommend Gerard’s enough.

Gerard came out to conduct a free check of my HVAC system after performing a home inspection on my condo this summer before I moved in. The technician, Tanner, was very knowledgeable and helpful. I've always lived in an apartment, so this is my first experience maintaining an HVAC system. Tanner answered all my questions and gave helpful recommendations for the future. He even took time to show me again how to change the water in my water heater. My experience with Gerard has always been positive and helpful. They have gained my trust, and I will be contacting them for anything related to heating and air.

You know when it’s 5 degrees outside with your Ohio winter and you think to yourself, “Wow. Today would be a terrible day for the heat to go out…” and then the furnace won’t kick on? That was us. We called Gerard and they were at our house, same day. Jake, our tech, was very polite and fixed our system quickly. He let us know the problem, fixed it, and then made us aware of some problems we may come across in the future with the A/C. We will certainly be calling Gerard next time!

Tanner did a Great Job of explaining what he was doing. Went through everything thoroughly. Has a Great customer skills. Has an overall positive attitude about his Job!

After my furnace failed I contacted Gerard. Gerard adjusted their schedule and had a technician at my house within an hour. Jake the technician, diagnosed the problem, had the part located and delivered from their supplier’s warehouse. He kept me apprised of the his progress, until he returned with the part. Jake installed the part, checked the system and installed a new thermostat, as a precaution. Jake was very competent and showed a definite concern for getting my furnace running. All of the above was completed under warranty. My thank’s to Gerard for there professional handling of my problem!!

I have nothing but good things to say about Gerard Heating and Air, I would and will recommend them to everyone! I had to have my furnace replaced. Each employee I interacted with was professional, knowledgable, respectable and down to earth. I had 3 technicians come to my house, not only were they great with me they were also very loving to my dog, immediate 10/10! They cleaned up after themselves. Their pricing is also very reasonable and they offer financing.

Gerard has great reviews across multiple online platforms and it’s well deserved! We wanted a tuneup on our furnace along with getting on a maintenance plan. Scheduling with Bridget was a breeze and TJ is a great tech. Very nice and extremely knowledgable. Don’t hesitate to call Gerard!

He gave advice and answered all my questions. He was very encouraging as well. T.J. worked efficiently and professionally.

Well, let's just say we couldn't be more impressed with the service and workmanship of Gerard HVAC. Our Installation Specialist, Tanner Hicks, was very friendly and professional. It was evident that he loves his job by his eye for detail. He even created a gravel garden for the unit to sit on and took special care to place all the lines above the path for weed trimming. It looks so nice and clean. One look at this photo and you will be wanting a new unit too!
We are very pleased and will definitely recommend Gerard HVAC to our friends and family. A very special Thank You to Garrett and his team for making this a pleasant experience from the beginning to completion.

There is far too much for me to say positive about the entirety of Gerard. In a brutal 6 month process where my home warranty company and my contractor for gas lines were a major pain; Gerard was the saving grace. Everyone in the company fought for me against everyone else who seemed to be against me. Gerard went the extra mile every step of the way. When it was hot and I had no AC, they provided me temporary AC window units to keep us comfortable. When I had no furnace as things were getting cold, they provided me temporary space heaters. All at no charge with only the intention of going the extra mile.
Bridget at the front counter was incredibly personable and helpful even when I guarantee I was annoying her with up to 10 phone calls a day. Ben performed my initial inspection at the purchase of my home and was my first fantastic impression of the company, even took the time to answer some questions I had about how things work in the home since I am a first time homeowner. Tanner and Nick were sort of my main installers throughout the process and made the experience fun. I'm almost sad I don't have any more problems because of how amazing the team is. Tanner even came out to my home to finalize some things when he had emergencies that I can guarantee were more pressing than us being cold for a day longer. A mention of Jake, TJ, Wesley, and the other Nick; who I am certain were all also at my house at some point. I seriously cannot speak high enough on this company. There is zero doubt that any and all work I need done on my home and recommendations for others in their service area - Gerard is the way to go. Thank You Everyone at Gerard!!

Gerard has been wonderful to work with. Their technician came quickly to diagnose the problem with our furnace. We got a new furnace installed and the guys arrived on time and were courteous and professional.

Tanner Hicks came out and completed a furnace tune up at my home. As a first time home owner who doesn't know much about HVAC, Tanner answered all of my questions and provided insight on how to maintain my system down the line. He recommended a few solutions to help optimize my setup, which I will be moving forward with in the future. Thanks again Tanner!

Gerard Heating and Air is fabulous and definitely has integrity. The initial quote process was the most thorough we had out of many companies we had come out for quotes, checking to make sure our issue wasn’t repairable first vs automatically trying to sell us a new HVAC system. They installed a brand new AC and furnace for us and made sure things were done correctly. Because of their excellent customer service and fair pricing, we called them out when it was time to replace our hot water tank. We are so glad to have found Gerard Heating and Air!

Would highly recommend and I will use them again in the future. Our furnace went out and I called Gerard Heating & Air and within an hour someone was at my house inspecting the furnace. They were able to diagnose the issue, call for the replacement part, picked up the part and had it repaired the same day. They even checked for warranty coverage. Both individuals from Gerard were very friendly and explained everything.

The guys at Gerard were top-notch all around. They cam highly recommended for a realtor friend and she was right. The technicians were kind and clear and I never felt rushed into a decision or felt they were selling me anything. They'll be my go-to for HVAC work from here on out!

I called Gerard Heating and Air after having a visit from another company that gave me the most uneasy feeling that they were using scare tactics to over sell and over price my furnace repair/replacement. I'm so glad I did. The techs took the time to explain a couple options and helped me replace my furnace at a reasonable price (thousands less than the first company). They did great work, were so nice and I feel confident that what I purchased was exactly what was needed.

When our furnace went out on a Monday, we called Gerard (TJ), and they were out the very next day to assess the issue. We hadn’t planned on replacing our entire furnace—and AC, as it turned out—but TJ took the time to lay out all of our options and helped us find a solution that fit our budget. He offered us a great deal and even managed to get everything sourced and installed within the same week.

Wes and Nick handled the installation, and they were fantastic—efficient, thorough, and professional. They not only installed our new units quickly but also walked me through the full warranty, outlined the next steps, and even organized all our product documents right next to the furnace for easy reference. Throughout the entire process, I never felt pressured or upsold—just genuinely taken care of.

Amazing customer service! We had a large company (Jolly) come out and told us we needed to replace our furnace due to a cracked heat exchanger. Another company came and ran a combustion test and said furnace was fine. We wanted a third opinion to be safe. Gerard was able to squeeze us in same day for no cost. TJ came out and explained our whole system and ran another combustion test to confirm numbers were safe. Will definitely be calling them in the future. So glad we gave them a call and will have them out again in the future!
