They have done a lot of electrical work on our house! Our house was built in 1938 and had the original wiring in it, they fixed us up, I would recommend Scotty electric to anyone! They are very professional.

Switches for indoor lighting not working correctly. Chris Scott, the electrician, verified the wiring and fixed it so everything now works correctly. He answered several questions and worked quickly. He did a great job and I highly recommend him for your next service.

Had Scotty Electric come out for a warranty claim on a bad bus on the electric panel. The technician Chris came out the day following the claim. He put in a temporary breaker until the insurance cleared the claim to replace the entire breaker panel.
Came out on time and did a great job on the install. And a great job on the cleanup. Very nice local family company.

In near future expecting Cox fiber optic (FO) upgrade. Perfect time for a CAT6 install. Most rooms had single drop installed with exception of home office (bedroom) and living room with double drops. In room with double drops the installer suggested two colors (white & gray). Not doing formal rack set up account only six CAT6 outlets needed. Fiber Optic run to bedroom closet down to FO modem with Wifi Mesh System with seperate 8 port unmanaged switch. Rather that have 6 cables run out of wall the installer suggested a six connector CAT6 outlet and use short patch cables to switch. For that professional install look. Also ran HDMI from closet to office wall outlet anticipating future POE-HD cameras. HDMI runs from back of Camera's DVR to Monitor on office desk. Installer explained what he was doing every step of the way and actually listened and incorporated several of my requests. Overall a professional job. I will be using them in the future.

My home warranty provider has sent this company out on two unrelated issues. Got the same electrician both times. I won't name any names but the guy is an electrical genius and the customer service he provided was unparalleled and extremely impressive. Communication with the warranty company was also handled efficiently and effectively on Scotty Electric's end.

Scotty was sent our work order from our home warranty company, we waited over a week, no call. WE called them after multiple attempts and them saying they never received the work order. I was trying to give them grace, but then the tech walked into our home checked an outlet in the kitchen ( not the ones that are not working ) and said its an appliance issue. WE argued, he left, then I called again and the guy who answered the phone said well if there is something wrong and the breaker is kicking, we have to see it with our own eyes - even though my husband videoed it happening multiple times. Now the electrical problem has casecated around my kitchen - dishwasher, outlet, disposal, outlet, outlet, and now microwave and outlet.

Called them back, they said well what do you want us to do... i replied I don't know I am not the electrician. He then replied are you wanting the breakers fixed... I was speechless...Seriously for almost 14 days that is what needed to happen. He said I will have to get that cleared through your home warranty place....I waited another 6 days, no phone call......I called my home warranty place back. They cancelled the claim with them, and got me in with another company who is staying longer on the job to service us same day. I am reporting this company to the BBB.

    DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!

Wouldn’t use them ever again. Scotty Electric installed a ceiling fan in our home in connection with a home warranty claim. We bought the fan Home Depot and the technician installed it. When it came time to get reimbursed from the warranty company, we discovered Scotty claimed THEY provided the fan and were paid for it. The owner refused to provide any proof the company purchased it and we had a receipt for our purchase. In our opinion, Scotty acted dishonestly and we would not recommend anyone use them. We are still out the $150 we spent.
