They gave us a time & day they would be at our home, the service man called the morning of the service and was there on time. He did a couple of tests and fixed the problem. Very courteous and helpful with questions I had. Would call them again for for service.

My A/C went out right before the heat wave hit, we were without air for 2 days before they could get here, but being peak season, I thought the response time was excellent. I thought for sure that my system was dead in the water and I was going to have to replace the whole system, but he had it up and running in about 30 to 45 minutes. Thank you Barnes Heating and Cooling!

My Mom's A.C. went out and they came out assessed the problem, gave a quote and ordered the parts needed. The process took about 3 weeks but that was only due to waiting for parts to arrive.
Parts arrived and A.C. was fixed right away. I recommend them to everyone.

Going into the hottest week of the summer my rental property had stopped producing cold air. They made time for me even though it was a Friday afternoon.

Turned out to be a simple fix.

My tenant and her doggie are so thankful they worked us in on a busy Friday. Nothing but 5 stars from us!

I used Barnes Heating & cooling recently to get my AC fixed. During the initial repair visit it didn't get fixed, but The owner was so concerned about customer satisfaction that the technician came even on his day off to ensure we had the the AC working on a hot weekend ... this is over & beyond customer service I give them a 5* rating & highly recommend Barnes Heating & Cooling to anyone who wants a reliable , trustworthy and a cost reasonable AC repair outfit in the Portland area..

Highly recommend this business! My system installed in 1994 stopped working, Bruce came out and went above and beyond to help me. A stopgap fix was made to provide cooling while a new system was ordered. His techs who installed the new system were professional and informative. I would recommend him to anyone needing repair or replacement.

Barnes Heating and Cooling's price was very competitive, there service was on time and the scope of work was finished ahead of schedule.

Good communication, professional, good follow-up. Service and installation was great. We have done business with Barnes Heating for a few years. We purchased a gas fireplace from them and had it installed a few years ago. We just purchased a new air conditioner and furnace. Very pleased.

They put in a new heat pump system and removed the old one. They showed up on time, got the job done efficiently with a very clean and neat installation. We had excellent service and are confident in the system we purchased. This had all the earmarks of a complicated task that they made into a good experience through their great employees. We were so glad we called them and recommend them highly.

Called to get the furnace repaired. They were here in less than 48 hours. John was polite, professional, and had my heat working faster than you could complain that you were "cold" :) I will use them again in the future. The price was more than reasonable. Thank you Bruce & John.
