I live in a neighborhood where the houses are packed together and parking is tight, which complicates most major home improvement projects. The roofing crew easily adapted to the challenges and did a great job and was very respectful of the neighbors 👍.

Had cheap shake replaced with a 50 yr composite last year. First winter and no problems. Our roof is complex, steep with many valleys. Prep, installation & cleanup coulden't have been better. Great job.

Home re-roofing summer 2010- Very professional job throughout & roof has performed splendidly these past 6 years. Estimator kept appointment and discussed entire job to our satisfaction; since we were changing roof types from hot mop built-up to conventional composition shingles, and needed a new gutter system with leaf protection, plus some repairs needed to projecting roof girders, we had a number of concerns, all of which were handled well. Work itself was done on schedule by a very professional crew, who kept our property neat and clean the whole time. Brad Chisholm, one of the owners, personally visited the job at start, during and at end, making sure all was right and we were happy with the work. JBC brought in sub-contractors when needed, for the gutter system and to repair our exposed wood girders. I recommend JBC Roofing without reservation for home roofing.

Top notch quality at a reasonable price. My project wasn't the simplest, and I had some challenge finding roofers who would even bid it. JBC's quote was competitive, but the main reason I chose them was they were willing to take accountability for the tougher parts of the job, warrantying the work in a way that left me covered and comfortable. When we found some unexpected issues after removing the old roof, they were helpful and flexible, and we were able to come up with a solution that didn't impact the cost or quality of the installation. I really appreciate the quality of their work.

Unfortunately, the quality of their work is so high, I'm confident I won't need a roofer for a long time! But if you need a roofer for either repair or new installation, these are definitely the guys to go with.

I had them do a large roofing job and couldn’t be happier. They cleaned up every day, didn’t damage my plants and were good workers. Plus they were all very pleasant! Highly recommend.

After a questionable roofing consultation and on a referral from our contractor of many years we called JBC re a roof leak. They sent Jaine who did a much more thoughtful and thorough inspection, including taking pictures and showing/explaining to me exactly what he found. The problem turned out to be one JBC could not repair, but our interaction would prompt me to highly recommend JBC.

We recently had a full roof installation, including a smart vent system, done by Brad and the team at JBC Roofing. From the moment we contacted them, they were incredibly responsive and professional. Brad was fantastic to work with—knowledgeable, courteous, and always available to answer our questions. We got multiple bids, but JBC Roofing stood out for their quality and attention to detail. They even coordinated with our HVAC technician to ensure the B-vent for our gas fireplace was installed seamlessly. The entire experience was top-notch, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. Highly recommend them!

Leaving this review years later I can't recall maybe 4- or so years ago. Searching for roofing options for my close relative on a tight budget. I recall JBC roofing they did a fabulous job got it done quickly and even with rainy seasons years later not a problem. Super thankful for their service and the blessing of a new roof without any additional leaks.

It was a few years back when I got the roof done by this company. I needed a copy of the receipt so I contacted JBC to get one emailed to me. Apparently Google is listening to my phone calls, thanks for that you intrusive %^|~<*'s. Anyway I would never have reviewed this but since I sent it to me I will add this one humorous thing. The woman that works there is continuously grouchy. She was unpleasant on virtually every exchange I had getting the roof done. When I called this time the first call didn't quite go through and I had to call back. When I called back just a moment later I got an exasperated wwhaat? She did email me the receipt very quickly but if you do work with this company just let this one's attitude roll off your back like water on a duck. I wouldn't not use them in the future because of her but it's pretty weird.

Although it was 20 years ago when they did our roof, I still feel I should share this. We have had condensation issues for 20 years. We just got a new roof and the installers confirmed they left Layers of underlayment and it was not good.

Although JBC Roofing did our roofing almost 20 years ago, I feel that I have to warn people of the workmanship. The intake ventilation was done all wrong, and we've been dealing with mold in our attics ever since. The gutters completely blocked all of the small amount of intake that we had, and JBC should have used smart vents for our ventilation because it was available back then, they just didn't provide us with the correct intake ventilation, and $30K of mold remediation later, we still have no intake ventilation to speak of. The nails in the shingles are exposed, and so they were nailed incorrectly. Very poor workmanship. When we did reach out to Brad Chisholm at JBC Roofing in 2012, they blew us off and didn't admit to their failure to provide us with adequate intake ventilation.
