I was referred by a friend to Elk Air Conditioning and Heating after the company I've used for years told me during a winter check up that I needed a new furnace. Cost would be approximately $5000. With winter quickly coming, I called the folks at Elk. They sent Dan, a 26 year employee of the company. He was great. Pleasant and patient as I watched him working and asking a million questions. After a couple hours of tough work pulling apart and cleaning my furnace, he put it back together. All it needed was a good cleaning. Something the other company wasn't really doing. For less than $200 my furnace is fine. Thank you, Dan and the folks at Elk Air!

Steve was very punctual. He did a great job replacing 4 wifi thermostats in my home. He was very pleasant and made sure everything was cleaned up. I would use Elk Air again. They do a great job. They were reasonable too.

Elk air conditioning installed an AprilAire model 2416 air filter system. Steve Murphy came on time and left the area in clean condition. He installed the system and explained to me how the system works. He patiently showed me how to change the filters .Steve also changed the shut off valve to an open gas line above water heater, that was not in use.

I worked with Cody the advisor, to get estimates on a few air purification systems . He was very patient and researched every filter system I found and asked about. I received multiple estimates from other Hvac companies and they were very unreasonable. Elk air’s price was fair and reasonable. I will recommended them to all my friends and family .

We had a great experience with Elk Air Condition ing & Heating. Our air conditioner stopped working during the night. I called five companies first thing in the morning to have someone fix the problem. They were the most responsive and were able to have a technician at the house within a couple hours. The service technician Stefan was professional and polite. I would definitely recommend this company.

We purchased an older home that had lots of work that needed completed. We contacted Elk after being disappointed by a large HVAC company from the North Hills. The sales rep, Cody Austad responded quickly and came the next day to determine our needs. He sent a great service tech Mike to troubleshoot our A/C to get us by until he could install a new unit. The A/C worked great until the new unit could be installed. Our system age averaged 32 years!

They came and installed a new A/C unit, furnace, and new duct work. The new efficiency and cleanliness of the system is amazing! The new thermostat system is amazing with all the features it has. Steve and Jake spent an entire week doing an impeccable job installing our system and explaining everything to us. They were very neat and left the are clean at the end of each day.

I highly recommend contacting this company and allowing these professionals to service all your HVAC needs!

The technicians from Elk Air are both knowledgeable and professional. The showed up on time and went straight to work. They wore protective gear to keep our house clean. They solved the problem and performed maintenance /repairs in very short order. The price was very fair. Both technicians were courteous and polite. I definitely recommend Elk Air and would hire them again.

Elk Air was very responsive in a time when it was over 90°. They came out to service my air conditioner in a reasonable timeframe. Fortunately the unit only needed a good cleaning. They were honest fair and reasonable. They are a great Carrier dealer.

The most honest, considerate, and responsive company! I had a terrible smell coming through my vent & reached out to Elk and Emily was able to get me in THE SAME DAY. Not only was my technician Mike honest, not trying to sell me things I didn’t need, he was very knowledgeable & kind! This company gives you knowledge, confidence you aren’t getting things you don’t need, and consideration of your time at a VERY reasonable price! Called Elk to diagnose and repair my 22 YO Carrier heat pump system which had failed suddenly. Elk, who had originally installed my system, was very responsive and quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad blower motor. Emily, service dispatcher was very polite and understanding when I needed to reschedule several times due to medical issues.

We are very satisfied with Elk Air Conditioning and Heating. Our Service technician was Tim and he was very efficient and competent. He explained the furnace problem to us and did his best to fix it. We will definitely recommend Elk as a reliable source for any heating problems. They are honest and trustworthy.

Our heating system failed on a cold Saturday morning during February. I called Elk because of a very positive experience I had with them when they installed my new air conditioning unit in 2018 - and I wasn't disappointed. Within an hour of my call a service technician was at my house and he was able to temporarily repair my furnace motor so that I could have heat through the weekend. On Monday, Elk replace the motor with a new one by noon! The repair guys were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I don't see how I could've have receive better service.

Mike showed up this morning on time and my wife was very comfortable with him in the house. She said he was very thorough and professional. He identified some issues that are causing our relatively new system to not function efficiently. We are thankful that they were responsive and that we will be able to get things in order before winter sets in.

Wow! Phenomenal!! I was recommended on the Nextdoor app these guys and I am glad I hired them to put both an HVAC unit integrated with my forced air ducts. Then I was also quoted a mini split for my upstairs, something no other company suggested (and I got 6 quotes), well I decided to go with both units. I have a small business repairing computers so soldering equipment is used, making it quite hot. AC was a must have and it just made sense what I was suggested. I have been in sales and it is always a benefit to ask your client qualifying questions so you can properly provide the correct service to your client. If the client says no, at least you offered and made the client aware of such service. The installers were very efficient, punctual, detail oriented, and an overall a pleasure to work with. Who will I be recommending and using for my future HVAC needs? Elk Air, thank you guys so very much!

The tech did a very through job of checking out the furnace and went over his findings with me. The tech was a very pleasant young man and I hope he will return the next time we need service. We have been using Elk since 2006 and have always been very pleased.

I would highly recommend Elk Heating and Air in N. Huntingdon for your Boiler work. This is the 1st time I used them and due to an unexpected problem in my system, they had to come out 3 times. They called me as promised when my part came in, and scheduled me 1st thing the next day so we had heat. The service department is wonderful to work with, they are respectful, kind, and on the ball. I had Mike the service tech come out as he was the only person that works on my specific boiler, and he was amazing!!! He showed up at the expected times, was kind, nice to speak to, appeared to be highly knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through everything so I was completely informed of what the problems were, how the system worked, what to look for, etc.

I just cannot say enough about them. I am thrilled to have found a company that actually has top notch customer service at what appears to be a very competitive price.

During a bathroom shower install, a problem arose regarding our ac lines and how they were routed. Since we were on a tight schedule, Elk was the only company who would accommodate us to reroute the line in a timely manner. After a few delays, one of which we agreed to, Anthony and Mark arrived on a Saturday (for no extra charge) and got the work done since the bathroom installers were coming back on Monday. They were very pleasant, answered any questions we had, and did a great job, including cleanup!

From first phone call to consultation to installation, everything took under 2 weeks. Project manager was knowledgeable and professional. Installers did a great job explaining the process, and were professional and friendly. Very clean install. I was sure it would take forever to get my heating and cooling system upgraded this time of year - pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness and promptness. Highly recommend!

Our AC stopped putting out cold air and ran for hours. Called our normal HVAC company but they couldn’t get out for a week, I called Elk and they squeezed me into the following day quickly. The technician was great, he came in and checked the system and found the issue in about 5 minutes and had it fixed shortly there after. Cost was about in par with what we expected for the repair. The technician was courteous of our home and explained the issue well. We will likely switch our service contract to Elk Air in the future.

We’ve relied on Elk for many years. They have installed 2 furnaces and 2 air conditioners for us. I highly recommend them for both maintenance and installation. Shout out to Jim and Tim for all their hard work!
