As a real estate developer with over 20 years in the construction industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work with countless service providers—and I can confidently say that Service Mechanical Inc stands out as one of the best.

They’ve installed new HVAC systems for us in multiple new construction projects, and they also service our office and warehouse spaces. Throughout all these projects, they’ve been nothing but reliable, responsive, and professional. Their team is knowledgeable, respectful, and incredibly easy to work with.

Just recently, during a severe heat advisory, our office system unexpectedly went down. Service Mechanical showed up the very next day and had us back up and running quickly. That level of responsiveness is rare and truly appreciated.

One of the things I value most about this company is that you can simply tell them your issue and trust that they’ll handle it—efficiently and thoroughly. Their pricing is extremely fair, especially considering the level of service they consistently provide.

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Service Mechanical Inc. First, the technician, Raphael, recorded extra hours on his service report twice for two visits-- about 2-3 more hours than he worked. You would never notice if you weren't there the entire time to verify. When I raised this issue with the manager, Mark, he was insulting and unprofessional. Instead of listening, he sarcastically asked, "Do you think Raphael was just hanging around drinking soda?" After checking the GPS tracker on the vehicle, they admitted that Raphael had falsely recorded 7 hours of work instead of 5.

Their billing practices are also deceptive. They charge $175 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours ($350) just for a visit, and the clock starts immediately. They make the issues seem more complicated by stretching the time and driving up the bill. I previously hired another reputable company for the same problem and paid around $500. With Service Mechanical, the bill reached $1,500—triple the amount! To make matters worse, they charge an extra 3% fee if you pay by card.

Overall, this company feels like a complete scam. I recommend avoiding Service Mechanical Inc. if you value honesty, fair pricing, and respect.
