I contacted Lab Exterior to replace my old roof. I dealt with Alex and Brandon for this work. They were absolutely amazing, honest, and professional. They replaced my old roof with an excellent price, with very good materials. I have not seen that professional team. If anyone is looking to to work , don’t look further go with Lab Exterior. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

LAB's shingle and gutter crews did an excellent job on our roof! The shingle crew came early, and worked quickly and efficiently. After our gutters were replaced, we noticed that one section was not pitched enough, and was collecting water. When we called to let them know, the crew came back within 2 days to fix it. They were responsive and professional. Would definitely recommend.

Brandon and Alex were great through the entire process of getting our roof approved. We had a few missing shingles and our insurance company only said they can repair. Brandon worked effortlessly with the insurance agent and got the entire roof approved. When it came time for the roof replacement they were very responsive through the process of the roof installation and the crew did a great job during clean up. I would recommend LAB Exteriors to anyone who’s looking to get exterior work done on their home in the Ashburn Virginia area.

A++, honest company. Brandon was the third roof contractor I had in to look at a leak where a roof deck joined up to my house. I just bought the house and discovered the leak when doing flooring. Ripped out the rotted wood and pulled up some deck boards. Two previous contractors came by before Brandon and did cursory reviews and with little assessment simply stated I "needed to replace the entire roof" (10-15K). Brandon arrived, inspected the damage from all angles, acknowledged he couldn't be sure of the source of the leak from his inspection, but wanted to proceed incrementally with the repair so as not to end up charging me for things I didn't need. Brandon called back about an hour later and suggested I try a water test with a hose. I did this and it was very clear that the problem could be fixed by $20 of weather stripping and caulk around a door opening, rather than a $15,000 roof replacement. Can't say how grateful I am for Brandon's honest guidance and advice! These guys are not out to rip you off, in contrast to the two other contractors I had look at it.

Alex and Brandon are excellent. I replaced four windows and three exterior doors, complete with HOA-specific grid-patterns, transoms, and sidelites. They were extremely responsive to communications and were a pleasure to deal with. I will stick with them for any future exterior projects. Highly recommend!

Brandon and his team did a great job replacing our front door. There was a small issue with the door handle but his guys came out the same day and took care of it. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

After having LAB Exteriors replace our roof last year, we were sure to call them back when we needed work on our doors and siding! Used Lab Exteriors for a roof repair and fan replacement. Alex was great, knowledgeable, and didn’t try to jerk me around. Repair looks great and the price came in much lower than another quote I got. Lab Exteriors will be my first call next time!

The owners, Brandon and Alex, were transparent about every step of the process, educating me about roof repair and installation, and keeping me informed before and during the process. They tried to keep the cost down and were open about how the cost varies depending on how much plywood needs to be replaced—something that can only be determined during installation. We recently had LAB Exteriors replace our very old (and apparently rotting) roof with a beautiful, metal roof. They also modernized our shabby-looking 1957 midcentury modern home by replacing the siding with Hardie board and replacing the gutters and fascia. Brandon and Alex and their team members were communicative, dependable, and provided excellent customer service. We really appreciated that we could speak to them directly about the projects whenever we needed to and that they worked with us whenever our house decided to present unexpected "surprises." We especially want to recognize the siding team, who were absolute masters at their craft. We will be contacting LAB again to replace our windows this year!

I had a fantastic experience with LAB Exteriors and highly recommend them. I had numerous problem areas around my home that needed repairs such as large gaps in the siding, rotting wood, openings between our roof and dormer windows, and even thick vines that had grown in-between the siding corner pieces. I contacted several companies, but none were willing to take on the repair work. Then I found LAB Exteriors. Alex came out to take a look and spent a good amount of time walking around the property with me, discussing everything that needed attention. He was professional, knowledgeable, and offered very fair pricing.

The repair work was completed the following week by Melvin, who did an excellent job. Everything was handled with care and attention to detail, and the results speak for themselves—the house looks great and everything feels solid and secure.
