Hal came out the same day, when our old combination HVAC unit went out, leaving us with no heat. This was during the coldest days we have seen in Hampton Roads in years. His team was able to replace our system 2 days later IN THE SNOW! Not to mention matching a quote from another company with better quality products! They had 5 star service from start to finish. Thanks Atlantic Shores!

I wanted to send a shout out to Hal Nystrom for coming out same day while it's snowing to repair my heating system because the heat was out completely! He also repaired my water heater and light switch. Super professional and personable guy! 100% recommend Atlantic Shores!

Had the ducting under the house replaced and some structural issues addressed. The work was done professionally, the crew were polite and answered all our questions. Worksite was kept neat the ducting cover was more than I expected. Schedule was kept. Would recommend them.

Hal, was fantastic, making sure all my questions were answered promptly and explaining every step of the process in detail. He was thorough in diagnosing the issues with my tankless gas water heater and provided clear recommendations for repair and maintenance. The technicians arrived on time and were extremely courteous. I was impressed with their attention to detail and the quality of their work.

There was a slight delay with a part, but they were transparent about it from the start and kept me informed throughout the process.

The air conditioning technicians arrived on time, were courteous and professional. They completed the installation as promised. They made sure to wear shoe protectors while in our home, and was very respectful. I would do business with Atlantic Shores again.

Atlantic Shores gave my wife and I top notch service. They were in the neighborhood when we were having air conditioning trouble. They came over and got us up and running when others had a waiting list. There service and honesty was a breath of fresh air.

As our HVAC system was becoming outdated, I decided to replace it and requested quotes from several heating and cooling companies. The quotes I received were outrageously high, and most salespeople were hesitant to install the system due to the difficulty of placing the wall-mounted air handler—except for one company: Atlantic Shores Heating and Cooling.

During the initial visit for a quote, Hal Nystrom was professional and knowledgeable about the system that would work best for my condo. He ordered the necessary components and assembled a team consisting of Josh, Art, and Jesse to handle the installation. I found them to be friendly, professional, and well-informed about the installation process.

The most challenging part of the installation was placing the wall-mounted air handler in a very tight area within a closet. However, this did not deter them from successfully completing the task. Once they finished, they went over all the details with me, leaving me confident in the operation of the system.

So far, the system has worked flawlessly. If you want an HVAC company that demonstrates competence, I highly recommend giving Atlantic Shores Heating and Cooling a call. You won’t be disappointed.

Quick response, was able to properly install a great package unit- condenser and furnace. Uber professional team. Courteous, cleans up after themselves. Kept their calm, polite, friendly demeanor, despite the heat and work that it took to replace our 21 yo furnace from the attic, addressed an electrical issue without extra charge. Our upstairs HVAC unit needed to be replaced after a refrigerant leak in the coils—right in the middle of a hot week. A friend recommended Atlantic Shores, so I gave them a call. They came out that same evening, inspected the system, and provided a quote.

Just two days later, the new unit was installed, and our family was back to sleeping comfortably—thanks to the fast, friendly, and expert service from Atlantic Shores!

I've been meaning to write this review for a while, but life gets busy. Atlantic Shores Heating and Cooling had to replace our main 4 ton heat pump over the last couple of months. From the quote process to the final wrap up, these folks are top notch. They answered every question we had, and I tend to ask a lot of questions. They left the area clean and even improved some of the duct work that we had on the outside for the package unit, which they didn't have to replace or install. The heat pump is purring like a kitten, and it's such a nice upgrade over the 20 year old unit that was replaced. Hal and the entire team did an outstanding job, and we had some really good conversation while it was all going on. It did take a while to get our auxiliary heating unit installed, but I'm aware that there are delays to get those heating units delivered because of supply line problems, so that isn't on the install crew. They did keep me informed on the status of the heating unit, and as soon as it came in, Hal came out and installed it and reprogrammed my thermostat to function with the emergency heat unit. I would recommend them and will certainly use them again when we get a replacement for our other unit.

Hal installed our new air conditioner and did a fabulous job. It was a tramemdously hot day and he worked hard despite the heat. The AC looks professionally done and neat. I highly recommend Atlantic Shores for all air conditioning and heating needs.
