We had our vinyl liner replaced this year. After comparing a whole bunch of companies in this area, and getting quotes, New Wave wasn't the least expensive, but they had the higher quality liners, and - more importantly - included the pool opening and some opening chemicals in the liner price. Raven was amazing to work with in shopping for the right liner and getting the process going, and Joel, Nick, Justin, Brad, Jason, and the rest of the service staff were wonderful in the execution. The process was easy and they talked me through everything one step at a time with very clear instructions. When the work day came, the installers worked like a machine. They were careful, detailed, and meticulous, and did a beautiful job with a gorgeous new liner. Since I was going on vacation the week after the install, they came back and filled the pool, balanced the chemicals, added salt (that we bought from them at a great price) and got things going. After the install there was a minor issue that caused some water loss (which we saw on camera), and New Wave was very quick and responsive to get the problem solved - making sure I had nothing to worry about while we were away. After the work and after the install, New Wave remained responsive, even giving us the time to help with some pool chemistry questions. Everyone I've spoken to at New Wave has been friendly and very quick to respond. We've found our new go-to pool company!

After having a not-so-great experience elsewhere, New Wave was super responsive & did a great job with some of the fixes we needed with our in-ground pool. Shoutout to Brad, who was super helpful and took time to explain in depth everything he did as well as answer some additional questions. Highly recommend!

I had New Wave install a new vinyl liner in my pool and it was a great experience. Raven was on it with many options to choose from and very patient with me picking one out. The gentleman that came to measure was very knowledgeable and professional and Brad and his whole crew today that performed the installation were also. I definitely would recommend their service

I would recommend Joel Jensen, Raven and New Wave Pools to anyone who has a residential inground pool. I am a newer and fairly inexperienced pool owner and was having difficulties this year with the pump and plumbing after opening it. I could not figure out exactly what was causing the skimmer to not draw water as in times past.

I randomly stopped by and shared my issues and concerns with Joel and he went above and beyond to talk through and review some picture and videos I had taken of the issues. He spent over an hour talking with me and suggesting ways I could troubleshoot to determine the root cause. I took his suggestions and kept trying different things to rule out certain issue and lo and behold a couple days of working on it the problem was resolved.

What I really valued about Joel, Raven and New Waves Pools is their willingness to help me even those I was not a current customer. Prior to solving the issue they fit me in to their busy spring schedule and they had no issues when I called to cancel the appointment and let them know the issue had been resolved.

Highly recommend their experience, expertise, and customer service. Two thumbs up!!!

Hired New Wave to open my pool with some expected extra vacuuming after personal circumstances led to a late close following storms.

Partway through the appointment, I noticed the techs poking around my LP tank after they failed to open the shutoff 3 ft from the heater and couldn’t get the heater started (I let them know I’d handle it myself). I was then told they couldn’t vacuum due to a significant leak from the pump motor and would need to replace it for ~$1300.

The pump had a worn shaft seal, and is included in a full pump maintenance kit available for ~$18 online, and it can be replaced along with all other seals and gaskets in ~20 minutes.

Don’t let the scare tactics or incompetent diagnostics force you into spending wildly unnecessary amounts of money on unneeded replacements.

They came out to work on a pool for my almost 80 year old grandmother. By the end the conversation they had walked off the job, and left my grandmother shaken. Please run, don't walk away from these guys, I would hate for any other seniors to have to deal with the disrespect and lack of customers service.

Today 12/23 roughly 2:50pm one of their dodge ram trucks was cutting people off and driving aggressive in Madison while freezing rain was falling shows what type of people they have working for them

Expensive, and no follow through.
Last spring, on their advice, we changed the pump. From the beginning it seemed to us that it wasn't working right, but the tech said that it was normal. Turns out, they probably knew it wasn't right, but didn't want to be bothered, because this year, half of what the pump pulls in is air. There is no suction, which prevents us from washing the pool (and heat it - with the pool heater we also bought from them). And now because we changed companies for our opening this year (since they almost doubled their price), they won't even send to someone to look at the pump

Was under contract to have them replace our vinyl liner. We have a concrete company we're also with since New Wave pools does not do concrete, but our coping has to be replaced. After taking the 100% deposit for the work out of our account, they showed up a day early to one appointment, and we weren't home. After rescheduling, they didn't show up at all, then we got an email saying they can't do the work and are refunding our deposit. Overall a nightmare working with them between scheduling, back and forth on what the can and can't do.

Probably the worst contractor I've ever hired.

Asked for them to help with plumbing and change the sand. They trashed the back yard, left sand piles everywhere. Left literal trash in our backyard from their beverages. Didn't fix the problem. Charged $900 for making a mess and not fixing the issue and then stopped replying and answering our calls. We called them at least 10 times and their tech was never in until they stopped replying all together.
