What a positive experience; I am extremely grateful for Kalscheur Septic Services ... responsive, friendly and knowledgable. My septic alarm went off Sunday afternoon and by 9:30 Monday morning the problem was resolved, thanks entirely to Nick Kalscheur! I highly recommend using Kalscheur Septic Service.

Maybe fine if you have an above ground septic access, but not if yours is buried. I wasn't aware I needed to dig mine up in advance as the previous time it was dug up for us and reburied. First visit I didn't received a promised phone call with an expected time frame for the service. Guy couldn't find the tank so he rescheduled for a different day and told me to find it myself. If I knew when to be home, this would have never been an issue.

I dug up access point for second visit. Also no notification about when he'll be there. Work is done and a unexpected $20 fee is added to the bill for the first unsuccessful visit, even though there was no communication that I was required to find and dig up the septic entrance myself. He agreed to take it off the bill after I called and complained.

Luckily he did not rebury the septic access point as I discovered the lid was put back on very awkwardly. There was a 1.5 inch gap on one side as some mud had gotten around the top of the tank entrance and prevented the lid from coming all the way down. Had to remove the lid, clean the mud from top, and rebury myself. In the process I also discovered that the cement access hole had been cracked. Not sure when that occurred.

Very poor communication. Shoddy handling of the access point entrance. Overall awful experience.
