Known Joe Clem for many years, haven't spoken to him since before my grandmother passed in 2003, then my dad passed in 2010, my dad used Clem Electric and he is well known for doing quality work and getting it done right, I do recommend him for any and all of your electrical needs, God bless this company 100%

I called today regarding getting a electrical panel box & installing a 200 amp 2 gang meter bank along with a 2" service mast & 2" weather head service drop and a few more things that I needed done at one of my rental properties, est cost 6k-10k and when I spoke to Joe Clem he asked what area I advised him it was in the western section of Birmingham, he said he was not sure if he wanted to work in that area and was it safe, I told him it was but I was offended by his question, I then sent him pictures of what I needed completed with a no response to say he was interested in the job or not.. Hey I have been a landlord for over 20 yrs and I have had rental property in the best of areas and the worst but in all and all money is money no matter what area as long as it is legal, so for him to say that and not respond I would have to give him a zero rating, I tell you that you can leave in a 300k area and if someone wants to do a crime to you or the area they will not think twice. They will just do it. But again with this statement I feel that his services are better given to the more well off customers, so I would not recommend this company at all. I will keep my money in my pocket and find another company to work with.

The review from Charles Cook seems to be someone who go their feelings hurt. A person doing work has the right to ask about working conditions. I have read some of the other reviews from Mr. Cook and seems like he is a fair weather reviewer. If it isn’t to his liking then he will post a negative review. I am not well off and Mr.Clem has always treated my wife and I with respect and has done excellent work. He helps you figure an issue without all the oversell like the big name companies do. I would recommend Mr. Clem to anyone. I don’t like a negative posting when no work was done and it was because someone’s feelings got hurt.

I have known Joe for several years. He re-wired a house for me in Eastlake.
I just had him install 2 new fixtures and troubleshoot a couple of items. He is very quick and efficient, not to mention very polite and professional. I will always call him for any future work I need done.

They did a great job and were very timely and professional. A light bulb went out a few days after the installation and they returned the next day to change out the bulb. Highly recommend this company!
