Drain my pipes that have been backed up for years. It was messy but worth the time to get everything cleaned up.

Owner is friendly and very competent but recently they do not return any phone calls. Unable to schedule any appointment. Friend has same complaint. Will not call them again.

Phillip was the first plumber that we met when we moved to AZ. He really shows up in a pinch. One thing that is strange in the last year though. Phillip answered me personally and though was booked, came out after a job in E Phx & still fixed my leak staying until late evening to make sure I didn't have to worry the rest of the night. Phillip is THE most fair priced in town. Thank you highly recommend

The Son’s Plumbing responded immediately to our plumbing needs, we were very pleased with their services. They have made numerous after hour calls to our residence over the years and have very professional staff. Thank you!!

We had them install a water softener system in our garage 5 years ago. Last summer, it developed a leak that was covered by warranty. It took many texts and phone call messages to have them come check it out, no further communication from them for months in spite of repeated attempts to contact. Finally, after leaving a message that I was going to stop by the business personally, they contacted me and did order the replacement equipment. When the equipment came, it was not the same unit but larger, due to the original no longer being used. The new unit requires different fittings, which they said they would have to get. A month later, or so, no word and won’t return texts or calls.

The Son's Plumbing is great! Phillip was so nice to fit me into his very busy schedule, he did a great job clearing my very clogged sink, and even wiped up the floor when finished! I will always use this company, and willl recommend them anytime!

On New Year's Day we came home from vacation to find a leaking water heater in our garage! We called Son's Plumbing on Saturday and Phillip was at our house in less than an hour to replace the water heater. He even worked with our home warranty company to help us get reimbursed since they couldn't get their vendors out. Phillip was timely, professional, courteous, he cleaned up after himself and made the modifications we needed to ensure we didn't come home to a flooded garage again. We are so very thankful for them and have never been so excited for a hot shower! I will absolutely recommend them to everyone I can!

I don’t like leaving less than glowing reviews, but I hope that Phil will up his game, and I hope to give advance notice to others in the meantime.

We had a sewer clog issue, sewage backing up into the house… Phil came out and cleared from our backyard cleanout down to the main city drain. He was very nice and friendly, and he also cameraed the sewer from our cleanout down to the main city drain and identified the location of roots getting into our sewer pipe. Very helpful information.

Unfortunately, we continued to have gurgling sounds in our drain and a couple of weeks later the same problem was back. Turns out that there was also clogging *before* the clean out. We were told that we would have to pay another rooter charge for them to come out and clear out the drain, and that the work is not guaranteed.

I am in a service industry myself, and I understand that work like this can be unpredictable, but it seems to me that it should be SOP for a professional company to take the extra ten minutes to run the rooter – and the camera – both directions in the cleanout.

Rather than pay these folks again to do what we had already paid them to do two weeks ago, we ended up going with Halls Plumbing, who fixed it faster, cheaper- and both directions. Plus, gave a 30-day guarantee.

Like I said, I don’t like leaving negative feedback, but I hope this helps both TSP and any prospective customers to make better decisions.

We had clogged toilets backing up everywhere, it was a Saturday, Phillip gave me a price over the phone and stuck to it. He was professional and fair. I'm happy.

UPDATE: I’m updating this review to say the other owner (not in Flagstaff) did make this right and offer a refund. But suffice it to say I do not ever recommend using PT Plumbing in Flagstaff.

PRIOR REVIEW:
We’ve been using PT Plumbing for a number of years, but unfortunately the quality and professionalism have drastically fallen.

George came out to fix our outdoor spigot and should’ve used a hose bib. Not only did he not use a hose bib, but he used a pipe that was too small. This resulted in a pipe that easily moved and ripped our wall siding off.

In trying to get him to fix his mistake under the warranty, he dodged our calls for weeks. When he finally came out, he didn’t ring the doorbell or talk to us, he just started drilling into the wall. He said he saw nothing wrong with what he did before, but then asked why he hadn’t put a hose bib on initially. He proceeded to make remarks like “this is what you get for free” and “what even needs to be fixed?”

And the final product was even worse than the initial. It’s now a mess of glue, plastic pieces, and a wood block drilled into our siding.

We absolutely do not recommend George with PT Plumbing. He’s unprofessional, rude, dismissive, and does really poor work.
