Gurr Brothers was an exceptional company to work with during a challenging time where my storage room flooded. Trent, the project manager was easy to communicate with and follow up on timing of contractors, all subs were great!. Serina in customer service and collections was great to work with as we were challenged with insurance collections. Great experience.

A storm tore my roof off, Gurr came and replaced my roof at top dollar thru my insurance. Less than a year later a piece of trim fell off revealing bare wood. When I contacted Kevin he stated he would schedule the repair and 2 months later I’m still waiting for such repair. Not to mention that I had to clean up about 2 or more handfulls of roofing nails from my yard so my grandkids and dogs didn’t get injured from debris. Communication is key, or, lack of. Not to mention, they never pulled a permit to do the work.

I contracted Gurr Brothers to demo and install 2 doors. This project lasted about 4 months to complete to due lack of communication and several mistakes on their side. Gurr Brothers has very competitive pricing and I had used them in the past for previous projects. However, their workmanship and customer service has degraded beyond salvation. My recent experience with them was an absolute nightmare. I had to put up with a lack of communication, shoddy workmanship, installers who hate their job, and even patronizing nicknames from them. The only reason I didn't give them 1 star was because their price is unbeatable. However, as they say, you get what you pay for. In my case, I should have paid more to go with a better company. Like other reviewers mentioned, I doubt the positive reviews are real. They are most likely paying for fake positive reviews to boost their rating. My experience with them is FAR from the 4.8/5 stars they currently have. NOT RECOMMENDED.

We had a roof leak over our master bathroom that needed repaired. Our insurance company, of course, made suggestions on companies but we wanted to choose our own. We came across the reviews of Gurr Brothers and knew it was going to be our company to get our roof right with their years of experience. While on the roof for our estimate, Sam noticed an area that needed repair in addition to the area we knew of. So thankful he recognized an area that would become an issue before it was an issue! The estimate we received was even lower than we had anticipated. The work was completed and Sam and Martin ensured that everything was completed to the highest standards. I would recommend Gurr Brothers for your roofing needs!

We were impressed with his attention to detail and the fact that he got up on the roof to do the quote. The roofer that came to do the work also was very thorough and very knowledgeable and we felt like he did an excellent job for a fair price.

I had Gurr Brothers come out and repair some roof damages I had. They were very attentive to my concerns from start to finish. One person i want to give a shout out too is Paige, she had great customer service and she kept following up and keeping me in the loop through the whole process which I appreciated. I definitely recommend them.

We had a leak over our deck from a fairly new 7 yr old house. The original roofer has gone out of business so we called one prominent roofer in the area who promised to call back within a week to schedule an estimate but never called. So I called Gurr Bros and Brandon answered immediately and came over the next day. He flew a drone over the house and immediately saw that flashing had been left off the area around the chimney and other vented areas with a hard sealer were cracking and flaking off. Original roofer had done a poor job! Within two weeks the project was expertly completed and the two workers were wonderful. We no longer dread seeing a storm cloud!

Never use this company for interior restoration.
They didn’t use enough drywall to have our outlets be flush with the wall and then contracted out to a cabinet maker to connect all the plumbing and electrical while re-installing the cabinets.
Not. Legal.
Now my garbage disposal is shorting out and I’m calling a licensed electrician to fix it.
P.S., they weren’t paying this cabinet maker for the work he was doing!

Bang up job left occupied jobsite in hazardous conditions nails sticking out exposed electric etc
Seems like these guys have no common sense or its everyones 1st day on the job
Messy work site left messy and extremely subpar work unfortunately im not sure how they have a good rating at all also overpriced and if you dont know about construction theyll add extra work for noreason they demoed my kitchen for no reason if i was living there instead of a tenant that wouldve never happened proceed with caution

Gurr Brothers did beautiful work rebuilding my kitchen after an unfortunate water damage incident under my kitchen sink. They re-built my kitchen cabinetry and made them look absolutely identical to the original cabinets; the end-piece of my cabinets actually looked better than before. I will now always call Gurr Brothers' plumber, Don and electrician, Jake, who both helped get the job done - they were incredibly knowledgeable, professional and amazing at their jobs. Sam managed my project and he went above and beyond to make sure everything got done correctly and any issues were promptly addressed. I will definitely call them again for my next project.

Extremely disappointed in this company. We were referred to this company after we had a leak in our bathroom by the West Valley Restoration. Originally, I had a lot of faith as Ian, our project manager, was very informative of the process, estimated time and was thorough with the damage that had been done. However, once we informed Gurr Brother's that we received the money from insurance, it quickly went downhill from there. I was informed by Martin that if we gave half of the estimate we could have the cabinet guy out to the house, collect what was needed, and start rebuilding the cabinets using the original frames. There was only two boxes that needed to be built and we were told it was going to take approximately two weeks. In additiona, when inquiring about a paint color change for the cabinets (again only two boxes) we were quoted $2500- which is absolutely absurd. After paying half of the original quoted deposit, as asked, I continued to reach out to Ian and Martin to find out when someone would be by to start repairing the damage. I was never informed when someone would be out to the house or an ETA, unless I personally reached out. The single guy they sent rarely showed up when we were actually given a schedule but never showed up within the window wer were told i.e. 8-10 (generally he showed up at 10:30 AM) Fast forward after the dry wall and baseboards were completed. We noticed there was damage to our floor tiles. I inquired with Ian about it and he claimed it wasn't them, however no damage was seen after the restoration company had come out. Additionally, we still didn't have any updates on our cabinets. After 8 weeks of waiting for any update on the cabinets, we were informed that Ian was no longer with the company and we were to be discussing with Martin. They sent a new guy to the house to assess what was left that needed to be done. At this point I mentioned my concern again for the tiles being damaged as well as this entire process being extremely frustrating due to the amount of time it was taking. I told Martin if we couldn't expedite this process we were going to need to find another company. After that, there were 3 separate no show occasions for our cabinet guys. At this point we told Martin we wanted a refund for the work that hadn't been done and we wanted to go elsewhere. We were told that the cabinets were already built and could be installed that Friday but because of that we couldn't get a refund for the cabinets. Friday came and we found out the cabinets were not actually built, they were to be built on-site and painted on site. At this point I officially terminated Gurr Brothers from this project. I was told an owner would reach out that day which also didn't happen. I would not recommend using this company- from lack of communication, to extreme delays and no shows, to being blatantly lied to- this is a company that should highly reconsider how they move forward with their business.
