Garage Door Supplier reviews in Phoenix, Arizona

Shame on me for not reading the reviews first. 4.6 rating as of this writing figured it was a trusted crew. I guess it’s under new management. Short story, customer provided opener. Was told that it’s not UL listed and only meant for commercial doors. I pointed to the box that it actually is for both door types. Say’s UL listed on the web! Constant pressure to buy their $1000-1500 opener installed and they would happily “recycle” my opener. Outrageous labor quote to remedy my install that I was able to negotiate and still felt robbed once all was completed in 45 min. I told my kid in med school he should consider changing fields lol. $500 labor quote for a 45 min job. I feel sorry for some of the other customer reviews who were shanked for thousands.

TOTAL RIP OFF-My garage door would not close so had Elite Garage Doors come out and take a look. Nice guy, was here maybe 15 minutes, one of the sensors had a lose wire and they charged me $300.00 to tell me that. When they were Precision Garage Doors they were 1000% better. I will NEVER use this company again.

Albert the technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and gave me a quote which seemed like a fair price. He did the work and had my garage door working withing an hour. Albert was very personable. I highly recommend Elite Garage Doors and Gates
Also I would like to add that Albert was right on time for the appointment. -
Once the installer/repair person arrived he quickly assessed the situation and found that my garage door spring broke. He then explained the price of repairs and it seemed reasonable,so I set up a payment plan through greensky and his work began. About 30 minutes 35 minutes later, he replaced the outdated garage spring with two springs and garage cables and rollers. He was very knowledgeable and respectful I appreciate his help, John

The technician came out the same day I called (which was surprising to me because hardly any service technician come out the same day you call for service). He was very polite. He showed me the bad and/or worn out parts before he replaced them. All in all, I am very satisfied with the service I got. The only negative would be the price-----but I guess everyone complains about the price. He did a lot of work, but the price was still somewhat of a shock to me. [I'm not complaining, just mentioning that the total caught me off guard].

Our garage door stopped working (turns out one of the springs broke) so we gave Elite a call and they were able to come to our house in a few hours, diagnose, and fix the problem. Elite sent Devin our way and he was very knowledgeable, friendly, and even stayed after he was completed to help set up the app on my phone and reprogram the garage door opener in my car. Would definitely recommend Elite to anyone in need of garage door assistance.

The team members were friendly. I was able to have a technician out to my house the same day. The technician explained several options, but did not try to persuade me to go with a repair more extensive than what I had originally contemplated. He did exactly what we agreed to, worked quickly and walked me through his repair and the testing of the garage door. Payment was easily done over the phone.

The spring on my garage door had broken. Since the door would not go up, my car and golf cart were trapped inside the garage. After calling Elite, I was greeted by a friendly lady who was sympathetic with my dilemma and arranged to have a serviceman respond within 3 hours. Jeremy introduced himself and immediately investigated the problem. He explained that my springs needed to be replaced, reviewed the cost of the work to be done, and upon my approval he set about replacing the springs, adjusting the tension and lubricated the rollers. He was done in about an hour and a half. The door works better than ever and does not squeak anymore when it opens and closes. Jeremy was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I am very grateful for the quick, courteous service. In the spirit of the Tokyo Olympics, I would say Jeremy stuck the landing!

To charge $1,700 for a spring to be fixed and an adjustment. The fact that your tech did this to a lady at her home is a joke - the price is literally 2x more than anyone else and you did it to an uninformed homeowner (female in the house). You guys should be embarrassed.
*********** Update******* The work was not any different or with incremental quality for fixing a spring and/or lube. It was predatory, plain and simple.
I have left a voicemail without a call back. No Call Back. Not sure what I was expecting? -
Van and John came out within less than two hours of our initial call. They replaced my automatic garage door opener quickly and efficiently. They were extremely knowledgeable and very personable. I would definitely recommend this company for quick and reliable service.

Tech sold us correct doors, promised they'd be installed in 6-8 weeks. At 6 weeks, I got a text for a Tuesday delivery. I changed my schedule to be available, no one showed or called. At 8 weeks, I learned they don't really have doors for our project. That was 3 weeks ago, and the huge deposit still hasn't been received. I was promised that I would get a call to let me know the status. Never happened. I think the company is doing so poorly, they need cash flow from folks. I now will have to wait several months, if I actually get my money back.

Outstanding service! Had good contact with Elite getting the service scheduled and once the tech arrived, he was quick, thorough, super friendly and the results were incredible. Had a noisy garage door that you could hear a block away. After he was finished I can barely hear it closing standing in the garage! Door works so much better now and I'm 100% completely satisfied with the job they did. I'd recommend Elite to anyone looking for garage door service!

Daniel did a requested follow-up service call due to ISP change. Assisted with making sure all features and vehicles had proper signal to garage door opener.
The best part they were able to come out right away which wasn't necessary but greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this company. -
The technician was good; however, the cost for what he did was not so much. I was charged $120.00 for him to apply the lubricant I supplied to the garage door. I was not told about the $120.00 minimum labor cost prior to the appointment or prior to the technician applying the lubricant that I supplied. When I called to inquire the cost, I felt that the CS was extremely unhelpful and dismissive of my concerns.
The three issues I have is the cost was a bit extreme, a lack in transparency about the costs prior to and during service, a lack of focus on customer experience.
Elite installed my garage door opener in 12/19 and was my go to company prior to this. David Dimas the installer was transparent about costs and went above and beyond to provide and excellent customer experience. Too bad that wasn't carried through to this interaction. -
Nic and Juan came out and did an amazing job. I called and they were at my house within 2 hours. I would highly recommend them and ask for these 2 guys because they did a great job.

Zero Stars...This company is a joke. I called them up to get a new overhead unit installed into our garage and 10 days later the job is still not done. Complete incompetence from these clowns. They came to our house and quoted me $800 to put in a lift master....the most expensive one they have because he said they did not have any other units, even though they advertise other units being available. I ask him about the Genie and he said he did not bring one but that I would have to reschedule another appointment to get the Genie unit, $100 less for that one. Anyway, this guy took apart our old unit and put together the lift master unit and assembled it in our garage. After he did that he then told me that there was a problem with the anchor for the coils that open the garage door....an extra $700 to have that installed. I told him to just put our old unit back up and he told me he could not do that because he had already put the new unit together....a total scam. My $800 quote turned into $1700, $200 just for one remote they charged us for. I have been trying to get ahold of someone there and they do not return calls or e-mails. They are completely avoiding me and will not come finish the job. The new anchor he put in is not even close to what we agreed to and is still not fixed properly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS,

I am extremely happy with the service I received from Brandon. He called from the road when he was on his way to my house and he arrived on time. It turned out on that I needed a new garage door opener and Brandon was very thorough at explaining why. He was very friendly, explained all of the features of the new opener and he did an excellent job installing the unit. He helped me to program the new unit and he told me that it was ok to call him on his cell if I had any questions after he left.
I would highly recommend Elite Garage Doors due to the excellent service received from Brandon! -
Total rip off! Avoid at all costs!
My daughter backed into my garage door, which pushed it off the track. Then she put it up because she was freaking out and not thinking. My sister called elite and made an appointment for that night when I’d be home because they refused to come out if I wasn’t home. Juan came out and was very dramatic about my door! Told me I needed a whole new door because my door was trashed. The door wasn’t even bent. He wanted $300 just to pull it down. Then $4000 for a new door! When I refused to pay for a new door, he charged me $1800 to pull it down, replace the tires and put a metal bar across to keep it from bending. He was there less than an hour! I’m a single mom and feel like I was scammed because I’m a women and was concerned about leaving the door open over night. -
I called another company said it would be 2 days called Elite and they came out same day earlier than predicted by dispatch. I had called them because my spring on door broke he walked me through all options. And pricing for each option and advised on different warranty options. He had the parts on the truck. The trip out to inspect and advise issue was free. Wonderful company will definitely have on my speed dial for future repairs and possibly future upgrades.

I called several garage door repair companies to fix the broken spring on my garage door. My car was stuck inside the garage and I had a doctor appointment in the afternoon. Nobody could help me the same day. Most places were booking appointments 3-4 days out. Precision Door had a repair tech to my house in less than 3 hours! The door was fixed in less than 2 hours. Tech was very friendly and knowledgeable, he explained the process and prices and quickly fixed my door. I highly recommend this company!

I called Precision when my garage door wouldn't open and I noticed the the spring had broken. I was unable to raise the door manually. They said they could get someone out to us in 2-3 hours which was fine. Sebastian, the repairman, called and was able to come a little early and he arrived just when he said he would. He looked at the problem and checked my other doors like I asked. Found a couple of other problems and explained them carefully and completely to me. I approved the work and he got to work immediately. Showed me what he had done and I was very pleased with his work. Very polite and professional. Very good experience from our point of view.
