Brad at Quick Fix was phenomenal to work with for a variety of repairs: office chair from Relax the Back + setup of furniture out of the box. Brad set up my nightstand, media console, book case quickly and effectively. He's extremely professional. He charges by the job not the hour, so that ended up working out great! I have a tall cedar tree that leans towards my two uphill neighbors, who were worried that it might fall during the recent windstorms. I had 3 arborists take a look at it and offer varying proposals. I was shocked at how expensive they all were. One of them referred me to Michael Crane, who came and spent over an hour educating me about every possible option, without trying to sell me on anything. He then returned and spent almost 2 hours talking with my concerned neighbors, again patiently explaining the risks and the options. Michael is extremely knowledgable and a genuine tree lover, and he earned everyone’s trust, and I decided he was the one I wanted to do the job. So I was overjoyed when his bid came in considerably lower than all the other arborists. When his two-man crew (I call them the Tall Tree Guys) arrived the day of the job, I immediately knew I was in good hands. The three of them had a great rapport and a deep reverence for working with trees. One of them named Greg is also a first-rate arborist. And OMG they did an amazing job...watching them work together was like a meditation, it was almost magical. Over the course of a peaceful, flowing afternoon my cedar was transformed from unbalanced and dense (and somewhat threatening) to open, balanced, safe, thriving and beautiful. Hallelujah! At last I have an arborist who I totally trust AND can afford. Michael is a gem - honest, knowledgeable, easygoing, passionate about trees, and an EXCEPTIONAL arborist.
The other person I can recommend is Kingman Lim, or LImb King, who has taken of my huge Chinese Elm tree for years. He is also a brilliant big-tree arborist, I think more expensive than Michael but less than most others. How fortunate to have these two great arborists nearby.

We recently hired Michael Crane of Treeways Arbor Care to trim a large Japanese maple tree in our backyard. Michael performed an inspection, provided a reasonable estimate and was very thorough in walking us through his vision for the work to be done. The work needed was fairly overdue and we discussed what was needed to meet the standards set by the Fire Dept as well as appealing to our homeowners insurance. Throughout the process Michael was a great communicator and showed his genuine care for maintaining the health and integrity of trees while getting the job done right for his clients. From start to finish, including the clean-up and hauling away of debris, Michael was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him if you are in need of a licensed arborist.

Mark and his crew were great!! I had them remove some trees and take care of a really bad, massively overgrown ivy problem in the backyard. I told him animals were living in the ivy and he was very careful when he was trimming it. The yard looked amazing when they left.

Mark is personable and easy to work with. He didn't mind that I made last minute changes regarding which trees to remove and which to trim.

Forestree is the 3rd company I've used in the last 10 years for care/maintenance of the monster incense cedar in my back yard. Their quote for a good trim/cleanup was well below the highest bid I got for a full day of trimming (not the lowest, but the lowest was from someone who clearly was more interested in cutting the whole thing down). short story...they trimmed fairly aggressively, making it much safer/less prone to losing major limbs to wind while keeping the shape/canopy that I love - easily my best experience...I'll be back and would recommend for anyone that has a large old tree that they love.

I used Forestree for the first time this fall. Mark and his team were wonderful! They did a great job of efficiently pruning my overgrown acacia tree, Mexican lime tree, and maple tree. I learned that Mark himself is present and participates in every job. Rates were very reasonable. I plan to have Forestree do my annual pruning going forward. They are first rate!

Mark and his crew are fantastic. He really listened to what we wanted to have done to our tree. And he consulted with us just before they started work, and after they had completed things to check and see if they had done everything we needed done. Mark has really great communication skills. His crew made sure to clean up afterwards. And that’s no small thing for trimming a very large tree. I would highly recommend his crew.

Terrific! Removed an 80’ tall, multi-trunked bay tree with a rotted center from my Berkeley back yard. Everyone I dealt with was delightful: polite, pleasant, responsive. The on-site team was efficient, punctual, tidy, and did a great job. I will definitely call them for any other tree work.

Excellent service - would recommend to everyone! Friendly and efficient customer service, with transparent quoting process. They were also very helpful and not rushed in answering any questions that I had.
