Installed an OLD system, claimed it was new. In 2017 I purchased a home that NIX worked on. His invoice was provided to us by the sellers during escrow. Invoice claims he installed a "new, Carrier model" heat pump & coil installed it in 2016. After the system failed at the beginning of this summer I investigated. Turns out, it's not at all NEW. It was sitting in a warehouse for 10 years & sold "as is" by the distributor with no warranty. Carrier brand usually carries a decent warranty that transfers ownership. Turns out it's only 1/2 Carrier brand. The visible outside unit is Carrier while the coil, hidden in the basement is actually Payne brand, a cheap brand that carries no warranty that transfers to new owners. After being confronted, NIX was extremely RUDE and said "my contract is with the sellers". This issue has since been financially resolved for me but I warn anyone dealing with this man, he is a crook.

Update:
Found the electrical wiring is out of code... Nix used wrong gauge wiring. Also, wiring was spliced in multiple areas... Using single strand in some areas and Romex in others. Single was not in conduit. Also found that the line set is the wrong diameter. Hundreds of dollars later, these issues has been resolved.

Nix was great!!! I give them 5 star's. They had great service and came out with in a couple hours to look at my unit. Other companies were telling me that I need to replace the enitire unit and charge me 10 times the amount that Nix charged... Their 30 years experience really showed when they said my unit only need a new motor, and I didn't have to spend $5,000.00 on a new unit. Instead they replaced the motor for $500.00.

Thank you NIX, for saving me $4500.00 I would recommend them to anyone...

We used Nix to replace and upgrade our forced air system, which included replacing most of the ducting. We are extremely pleased with the improved performance and quality of the installation.
We previously used Nix for repair work. Dale was straight forward. The crew was on time, efficient and cleaned up before leaving.

Had Mission Aire come out recently for a system tune-up and couldn't be happier with the experience. The technician was professional, on time, and actually took the time to explain what he was checking and how everything was running. You don't always get that level of attention with service calls. The system is running great and I feel good knowing it was looked at by people who clearly know what they're doing. Veteran-owned local company that actually cares about the work they put out. Will definitely be calling them again.

I was referred to this company last year when our HOA hired them to maintain the HVAC rooftop system for our loft building. Each unit still has a separate system to maintain, so I hired them to service my AC unit in my loft. I authorized them over the telephone for a service call and repairs up to $500 and instructed them to call me if it exceeded that amount. To my suprise I received an invoice for over $4,400!!!!! I called and spoke with a woman in the office and then the Manager Mark, who basically were of no use. Finally, after refusing to pay the invoice, Willy the owner called me…. Extremely nice guy and took it from there. After reviewing the job and the amount of work they did, he reduced the invoice to $1,100.00. Now, 9 months later, same problem! They are charging $910 for 2 MEN TO COME OUT AND GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE!!!! Then I received an estimate for almost another $4000 - my AC unit is a new high end unit I had installed 3 years ago, not some aging POS AC unit.... lol……. Fed up with this place! The Manager told me to pay the bill or he will put a lien on my property. Called the original guy that installed the unit, he repaired it for $300!!!! This place is a complete RIP OFF
