The team was very professional during the residential electrical repair. They used the right tools and followed safety rules. The repair was done fast, and the power came back on. They cleaned up well and made sure everything worked before leaving.

Given this company's high score, I decided to give them a shot. Big mistake. I had a three-hour window for the appointment. The electrician called me about 15 minutes before the window began to tell me he'd arrive in 30 - 35 minutes. An hour and five minutes later, he finally arrived. After going over what I needed him to do, this guy spent about 45 minutes going around the house, figuring out what needs to be done (listening to me tell him he'll mainly need 45-50 feet of wiring for the new switches and already-installed ceiling fan mounts), followed by figuring out which circuit breakers on the panel link to those rooms (not needed, since this job can be safely done while the wires are hot), then told me that he didn't have any wiring with him because the office gave him the wrong information (that he'd be installed ceiling fans and switches to existing wiring - completely the opposite of what I told them when I made the appointment). So, he needed to run to Home Depot to pick up 50 feet of wire and a few other small items. Home Depot is a 5–7-minute drive away, mind you. An hour and a half later, he finally returns. At this point, his estimate is that it'll take him 3 to 3.5 hours to finish. That's when I was simply done with him. I've never experienced any professional (electrician, plumber, etc.) who went so slow.

Also, I have to mention that the business's number seems to link to a call center instead of the vendor's office. Dealing with call centers for professional work has never worked out for me. I cannot recommend this vendor at all. Two stars instead of one, however, since everyone (including the electrician) was very nice throughout.

Two more notes for everyone: 1) The majority of this vendor's reviews seem to be from fake profiles. They are all way over the top in their praise, and most of the reviewers only have this one business reviewed. Very sketchy. 2) I did a check of every location for Marvel Electricians across SoCal (easy enough to do with Google Maps), and they are all fake addresses. They are either residential addresses or tagged in the corner of a building/rented space that belongs to another completely different business. Take a look for yourself. Make sure you look at the street level view if you do. I'll still allow the two-star review for their courtesy.
