Nick and his team are reliable problem solvers who keep their promises. If I need to call them again, I'm confident they'll deliver solutions. They've handled two furnace repairs for me in the past, doing a great job three years ago, and yesterday's 100-gallon water heater fix was excellent too. Do not hire this service. The appointment scheduler was completely incompetent, leading to two days of back-and-forth calls and a wasted day waiting for them to arrive. They charge a non-refundable $175 fee just for showing up and doing some light work on your unit.
The actual cost depends on the severity of the problem, with estimates ranging from approximately $350 for basic repairs to potentially another $350 for more extensive fixes like replacing a burner or parts. The technician's behavior was unacceptable, causing the tenant to refuse further assistance.
After the issue was diagnosed, the company estimated an additional $1,000 to fix the unit. Now that they've already taken their $175 fee, you're left with the bill and a bad taste in your mouth.

I stumbled upon "The World of Water Heater" while browsing online. The owners, a husband-and-wife duo, operate the store in Compton. Their service impressed me greatly. They demonstrated exceptional knowledge and were genuinely pleasant to interact with. I received a thorough explanation of best practices and considerations, which seemed reasonably priced. Delivery costs were also reasonable.
The delivery personnel made a considerable effort to transport the water heater, navigating multiple gates and entering my yard without complaint. The new heater functions flawlessly, and we're thrilled to have hot water again.
