We built a small ADU studio to use for extra income, and the whole process was very smooth.
Guy and the team were easy to work with and communicated well throughout. Everything stayed on schedule and within budget, which made things stress-free.

They also took care of the city requirements and permits in Richmond, CA, which was a huge help. Overall, the process was straightforward and we’re happy with how it turned out.

Promodeling, Inc. is an incredibly well-run organization. They perform high quality work and have a keen attention to detail and vision. They remodeled my entire condo with professionalism, care, and excellent communication throughout the process. Their Project Managers are excellent, and I would like to specifically call out the owner, Guy Oren, who runs a very well-organized company.

In the contractor space you can find a lot of unreliable individuals, but Promodeling, Inc. is far from that - they are honest, ethical, experienced, and truly stand by their workmanship and promises. I would highly recommend Promodeling, Inc. to anyone looking for QUALITY contractors to remodel their home. I would absolutely use them again! 5/5 Stars.

We would not be happier with the work Mike Lafata and his team did. Professional, courteous, on time and most of all very helpful recommendations that were not about $ but about the right choices for us.

Mike with Promodeling completed drywall, framing, wall board, door hanging, cabinets, carpentry, painting shelves and much more to list for me. I was very impressed with his work and the company’s professionalism!

They can't keep their communications and scheduling straight. If they can't handle these basic items, I fear what their actual work is like.

Edit: they claim they tried to reach out to me, but once I called them, they realized they repeatedly called/texted the wrong number even though they had my correct one on file.

I usually don’t write reviews, but after working with Promodeling on our ADU project, I felt compelled to share my experience. From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations.

I'm lucky to have found Promodeling. They redid our roof, and replaced our front door covering with a pergola. They are professional, on time, efficient, and they provide updates with a log that includes photos of the job. We couldn't have a better remodeler. You never know what you're going to get, but I'm writing this review six months after the project was finished, so we are genuinely happy to have worked with them.

I hired ProModeling to help us with our kitchen remodel and they exceeded our expectations.
Suzanne, was our project manager and designer . She did a fantastic job, since the first meeting. She patiently explained the process and made sure our needs were met, offered us ideas and design suggestions , organized our materials and made sure we stayed on task.
She constantly kept us in the loop with the progress and overall a great communication throughout the project.
I really appreciate ProModeling for the work and their professionalism showed in the project. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family!

We hired Promodeling to remodel our kitchen in March of 2021. Guy and Ricardo came over and we sorted out a plan. They promptly provided a proposal that fit our budget and we dived in. They started in April and it was completed before the end of May. Every day I go into the kitchen and feel like I am stepping into a Porsche. All the doors and drawers close by themselves, the lighting is awesome, the cabinets look amazing and line up, nothing crooked. They used a laser to line things up! The granite counters are awesome. They went the extra mile and surprised us with some of the touches they added when it came to painting the great room, including fixing some woodwork that we never even discussed. And they were very accommodating when we requested a few changes while the project was in flight, which made all of the difference. They have a great team, and they put up with our dog, who fell in love with Ricardo. So, when it comes time for the next thing, we will be ringing up Guy. You could probably spend a lot more for the same result, but we feel we got a really great result for a price we could afford. Oh, and Amallely, the office manager was super helpful.

We hired Promodeling for a bathroom and basement floor remodeling project. From the beginning, both the owner (Guy) and the project manager (Mike) were very attentive, friendly, and informative about the process, constantly communicating and giving us updates thru their app and by phone. Even when issues arised during construction, the project manager was very quick in making sure every one of our concerns was resolved. Overall, I will highly recommend the company for any project small or large. We were extremely happy with the timeline and the finished product.

AWFUL - SCAMMERS - INCOMPETENT

These guys don't know what they are doing for commercial construction. They completely misrepresented themselves, their company, and their capabilities. I ended up having to fire them and hire a new company. They couldnt understand how to do commercial construction and it was clear at every point. the new contractor had to fix most everything they did. It was awful. I will be planning legal action and recommend everyone beware of using them. I have many many documents, receipts, and records of their ineptitude. Please reach out to me if you are considering using them and I will show you why you shouldn't.

Closet remodeled to fit a washer/dryer. The team did a good job. Had a few issues (the team painted the walls the wrong color, broke a light switch, chipped a door; they fixed them though) but their quote was the best.

Guy and his team installed all new doors, did a partial bathroom remodel and retrofitted and installed a pocket door to separate the front of the house from the rear addition.
The work was completed in a timely manner with professionalism and courteousness.
I would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with Promodeling replacing my roof, windows and Siding. Gilad and his team are true professional, always keeping me up to date. I was very hesitant doing a project like this since I had no luck finding qualified people to do this substantial remodel of the outside of my house. Gilad was transparent, accessible and honest about the work being done and what it would cost. His team was very friendly and always mindful of people (and cats!) in the house. Gilad has his own team and is not subcontracting. The work was done very fast (2 months) and the quality is amazing. I feel I have a new house!

Work to replace woodrotten T11 wall siding was done timely and within budget. Accomodations were made to do additional minor necessary work not originally in contract. Major damage that occurred during construction were fixed. Only caveat is that if there were any woodrot underneath the T11 wall siding, they will not check for it. Need to hire someone else to check this before they proceed with installing the new T11 wall siding next time.

This company gave me an estimate for my ADU, and the price they quoted upfront was exactly what I was hoping for. The owner, Jordan, responded right away to all my questions—he’s very kind and professional. I will definitely refer him to all my friends who need an ADU.

Promodeling remodeled our offices in San Francisco and did a fantastic job. The team was professional, easy to work with, and kept everything on track. The new space looks great and our team already loves it. We’re really happy with the results and would definitely recommend Promodeling.

Promodeling did a total renovation of our kitchen, including cabinets, countertops, new lighting, new flooring, new appliances and new plumbing. They did an excellent job! Our team was lead by Roberto Moretti and included Jerson Batres and Pedro Lara. We were very pleased with our project managers, Suzanne Brinkerhoff and Dante Cohen, as issues were addressed issues so the project stayed on schedule. Their recommendations for countertop and flooring suppliers were very helpful and saved us money!

My experience with Promodeling was terrible. Had them do a large addition and it took a year longer than promised. Guy kept hitting me with change orders that didn't make sense. One time he wanted $2000 upfront and wouldn't even tell me what it was for until after I paid. Turns out it was just for him answering questions from a sub. I wasn't even allowed to talk to the subs directly. Eventually had to get an attorney involved, and Guy's response was to charge me for his time dealing with my lawyer. I also noticed older negative reviews have disappeared from this page, and I know for a fact some of the good reviews were from employees. Be careful with this one.
