Building a pool involves a lot of decisions, but he helped us navigate every single detail and made sure we understood all of our different options. He was incredibly helpful in pointing out important features we might have otherwise missed, all while keeping the pricing reasonable. Once the pool was finished, John took the time to explain exactly how all the new equipment worked and even recommended a fantastic pool service company to help us maintain it. Our pool turned out beautifully, and we are looking forward to many happy times to come! I highly recommend V.O. Pools!

Before I started this project I put about 60 hrs into researching the different type of pool designs, equipment, concrete variations around the pool, pool surface, pebbletech colors, etc. I spoke with 6 different leading companies in Fresno and set up appointments with all of them. 3 of the companies said it would be a month before they could come out and it seemed like they didn’t take me seriously when I told them I had a budget of 45-50k and what I wanted for my pool design. One of them never got back and the others emailed me pricing and although they were 10 percent lower they didn’t keep in contact with all my questions and never made an effort to come out to my home. The other companies that came out gave me quotes within two weeks. One was about 20k over my budget and the other ended up to be really shady (I left a review on what happened ok their company google review page). So I met with John with V.O pools in the middle of all that. Very easy and straightforward when talking to him. Took me out to a customers pool he was working on and after getting his pricing and seeing the quality in person I pulled the trigger. I pretty much copied that pool he showed me to about 75%. Just made some changes to suit my style. John kept in constant communication the entire project and even when he wasn’t there the team of different contractors for the various parts of the install were polite and respectful of my property. Project took about 35 days from the time he marked the pool outline with chalk to the time he filled it with water. It might not always be that fast for everyone as I’m sure it depends on different factors but he definitely pushed hard and met every deadline he set for us. Only had to be at the mercy of inspector at some points but that can’t be changed. With all the little things I kept changing, everything went off without a hitch. Never waited more than an hour to get a text back from him though out the whole project and trust me, I ask a lot of questions. I also have 4 dogs so communication with contractors working on my property was crucial. I couldn’t have had a better experience and am glad I did the research and went with VO pools. Highly recommend if you want it done right without any headaches!
