I recently had a leak on my water main. I made a call to Roto Rooter and set up an appointment for that day. The person I spoke with on the phone was extremely nice and got things set up for me. Skyler showed up that day, gave me an estimate and began work digging a hole, through all of the rock landscaping, to get to the problem area. It was 108 degrees that day, but Skyler was persistent and told us our water would be back on by the time he left. It was after 2 when he said that, but he was successful, and we had water to the house when he left.

Skyler was back the next morning to put fill in the hole and finish things off. When I saw the finished product, I was so amazed. He took care of all the rocks, and made it look like he had never been there. I was so impressed with Skyler, his professionalism, technical abilities, and his work ethic.

Will I call Roto Rooter next time? You bet! Will I ask for Skyler? Absolutely!

We live in an older home and have worked with a lot of plumbing companies over the years, but I was most impressed with my recent experience with Roto-Rooter. We had an after-hours emergency and reached out to several companies through Thumbtack. Roto-Rooter wasn't the first to respond, but they were the only ones available to come out. The rates were higher (which was to be expected) but they were at the house within 2 hours from first contact.

Enrique was very friendly and polite. He listened to our current and past experiences and treated me as an informed client (which is often not the case when women deal with contractors) and was very transparent about the issue and the process he was going to use. When his efforts didn't work, he substituted them for a scoping service on our bill and made sure someone was out first thing in the morning to continue the project.

The next morning, we had five Roto-Rooter vehicles in front of our house. Once again, they talked to me with respect and understanding. They were incredibly down to earth and were understanding when I explained budgetary restrictions as a factor in my choices. Together, we came up with a plan I could afford and they provided me with a quote for the next step work I'd like have to get done in the near future. (While plumbing is always expensivek they were MUCH cheaper than other local companies I have worked with recently.)

Once the plan was in place, Arturo and Loreto got to work. They did the water jet from outside and, when that wasn't getting the results they wanted, they worked backwards from the house (roots in lines clogging all bathroom drainage) using a different tool. In the end, they got things working, but were clear about the need for future pipe replacement.

I never felt like any of the Roto-Rooter employees were trying to upsell or push things I didn't need. They were all very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!

From the start they were on it. Pleasant phone call, great communication through out the whole process to the end. Service Rep who came out to service the Unit was Cody Allerton. He was awesome from the start. He shook my hand and introduced himself and had a pleasant way of his introduction. He asked what was the problem checked it out and resolved it. He said if anymore issues don't hesitate to call again. He was awesome, professional, great feedback, and was approachable. I felt like he cared in what he does in his job.

The plumbers were incredibly helpful. They showed up promptly, and took their time diagnosing the problem with our pipes. We needed some major repairs done, and they finished the entire project but he end of the day. We are super impressed with their service.

The team who came out were very informative, considerate, polite, and quick. They did an awesome job on the work they did, also showed me before and after pictures. Jorge, Jonathan, and Mack have been the main employees I've been in contact with for my inside/outside plumbing issues and I appreciate them. The whole group of workers who came have all been awesome and have a good sense of humor which I appreciate during this tough time. Thank you all. Would recommend this business for sure!

Abraham was very polite and professional. He explained the options I had to fix my plumbing problem, then proceeded to fix the plumbing problem. He did a great job and I would not hesitate to have him again.

I called in for service on my leaky toilet. The company responded and sent a technician out within 20 minutes. Andrew was kind, knowledgeable, and evaluated the problem promptly. Fixed it within 15 minutes. I'm extremely please with the entire business all the way to the technician! Thanks again!

First, Christian was very very polite and nice and professional.
BUT, Roto Rooter was three times the price of three different plumbers. The job itself would take approximately one hour, and they quoted me $850 to $1000.
He explained that they would have to make an elbow in the pipe (which if you know, it's just a screw on Bendy thing, takes a few more minutes). He then explain to me that we're getting the best in the business because they're the oldest plumbing company around. So apparently the customer have to pay 3 times for that.
Like I said, Christian was very nice… But there is no way I would ever even call Roto router for another estimate, much less pay that kind of money for them to do an hours work. $350 an hour is way too much, but $1000 an hour???!?!? absolutely no way.
Shop around, there's reputable plumbers that do a great job for 1/3 of the price

I called for an estimate on replacing my water heater on a Sunday night. They came out the next morning to give me an estimate. The technician was friendly, very knowledgeable and polite. They provided me with a timely estimate that matched the price given to me in person. I recommend this business.

We had a pipe burst at 3am on a Friday. I called and they immediately set up an appt for 8am that day. The entire team was so professional. Explained everything clearly so we knew exactly what to expect next. I was really upset as 3 areas of our house ended up with water damage. Within 12 hours, the leak was found and pipe was repaired. Amazing team! I highly recommend!

Absolutely the best customer service I’ve ever experienced! I had an issue with the flushing mechanism in my toilet. It was spraying water everywhere and making a really loud noise. The noise was bothering my son who has special needs. I explained the urgency of it to the dispatcher and they had someone there within 15 minutes. The technician had everything that he needed to solve the problem on his truck. No having to order parts, or come back. The repair was quick and worth every penny. They also included a one year warranty. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making such a stressful situation manageable for my family.

Called on a holiday weekend and they came through within the hour. Sammy was awesome very friendly and explained what we could do to prevent from happening again.

I can not thank Junior Fernandez enough. We had been working on getting a kitten out of a sewer line for 2 days with little progress. A very long story short, Junior showed up and saved the day and a life from a terrible fate. I hope he feels like a hero today, he is to me.

I’ve been having a plumbing issue for the last two weeks and my home warranty sent out and they denied the claim and said it was the cities job to do. I called the city. They came out and said it has nothing to do with them and it’s my responsibility. So I called AAA and AAA went through everything and ended up coming back with it’s not covered. So After having this issue for the last two weeks and it continuing to cause water damage, I finally reached out to Roto-Rooter. They were able to come out today and not only did they Look at what the issue issue was find what the issue was. They were also able to fix it right there and then Without having to come back again on a different day or without telling me that I needed to call somebody else. The gentleman Abraham that came out was amazing, extremely professional since the start, talked me through the whole thing and kept me updated on what was going on; AND was able to finish the job with no issues. Along with calling his project supervisor out to confirm, and Junior came out and was extremely easy to talk to as well. Looking forward to him coming out tomorrow to do one last inspection with the camera to ensure everything is looking good. And though I will admit, they are quite pricey and expensive, I was okay with it for the fact that they were able to get it done today. At the end of the day; I paid for a job well done and the convenience of them being able to get it done today. I couldn’t be more thankful. Again, thank you!

My experience using Roto-Rooters was good. The inspection is free which is awesome. They were responsive & professional. I can't say if the price was fair because I needed help asap so I took them. Aside from that I had warranty which was covering more than half of the cost.

Such helpful employees. From the first call to ask for information to the service provided everyone was so kind and helpful. We had Noah come out and help up fix our plumbing issue and only have great things to say. We’re hoping for no more plumbing issue but now have this company on speed dial just in case.
