Site Project Management was creative and keep us on budget.
Our on-site foreman was conscience and performed the work exceptionally well... I was very impressed with his attention to detail.

I them to ask some questions. The representative's pushiness and lack of patience, prioritizing appointments over my concerns, were disappointing. This experience emphasizes the need for better customer service.

My car stopped and I barely was able to turn in to their driveway. However after sitting there for 15 minutes I think one of the workers saw me and when another person came they probably said that car is still there. Anyway another employee came over to the car and asked me if I needed help. I was waiting for AAA she said let us at least move you out of the driveway. She went back to get some employees. Then I looked up and about 6-8people came out and pushed me out of the driveway and into the parking lot. I just want to say thank you again for the kindness, caring and thoughtfulness of the staff at Garden View Landscaping. This happened on Tuesday July 26, 2022.

Wonderful company with wonderful people at the helm. Their attention to detail cannot be rivaled. The design team and project manager were dedicated to helping me find the perfect balance of beauty and function in my backyard. They are truly artists in the world of landscape design. We could not be happier with our yard now!

We bought an amazing home that did not have a defined area for our dog, and in fact had a very little yard at all because the house was perched on the edge with drop offs around 50% of this amazing view property.

The owner came out and explained the process. We met with Samantha and Eddie and reviewed several different options, clearly explained with drawings and renderings of how it would look and feel. They came up with solutions that we would never have thought of, which was using large boulders to create a natural-looking retaining wall and backfilling dirt. Voila! Instant yard space!

The best part of Garden View is their uncanny way to ask questions to "read" the client to understood our tastes for a natural setting.

I'll also say this: I've worked with design/build companies on home remodels and they can be grossly overpriced. Garden View was very fair and a year later we are ecstatic about our yard. I called Eddie with a question today and had to tell him how grateful we are to their entire team.

Garden View did an amazing job on our pool and landscaping project! We live in the Monrovia hills so this was a huge project and GV did an amazing job in completely transforming our yard to an absolute oasis! From the moment we met Mark, the owner, for our initial consultation, to meeting and working with Justin and the design team, to the financial team and making sure everything fit within our budget, we have had nothing short of excellent customer service. Eddie, our project manager, helped make sure everything ran smoothly on a daily basis and we essentially spoke or exchanged text messages every single day...he was even able to accommodate us in the evenings since my wife and I both work all day. We had very high hopes and big dreams of creating a large outdoor space for our 3 children and GV was able to take this vision and more than recreate this for us. We have nothing but amazing things to say about GV and everyone involved in our project and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to build their dream pool and backyard! Thank you Garden View for doing such an amazing job!!!

We have a very steep hill as a backyard with plenty of plant eating wildlife. ALo a waterfall on that hill that needed a major rebuild as we wanted to stay with the natural look. This was not an ordinary job!
Garden View was excellent all the way from a "rocky" beginning to an wonderful finish. (literally tons of rocks were rearranged, imported and removed). The hill is stabilized, weeded, replanted and we could not be more impressed with the job that was done. From designer, to rock haulers every single person was truly helpful, careful ( dogs did not get out even once) thoughtful and knowledgeable. We were consulted and informed every step of the way. We recommend Garden View with no reservations. We just wish we had another job to do - it was so much fun.

    INCREDIBLY good company

They put in my pool 10 years ago. It was a great experience but this year, the hot tub area developed a crack and needed a new top. It was complicated. The Pebbletec had cracked, the bond beam (?) had popped off and the whole thing had to be re-done.

On a whim, I called Garden View again. I figured 'maybe' they would help me out on the price?

They did the whole thing for free.

They said, frankly, a problem like this was not up to their standards and they would make it right.

The crew worked for 2 weeks. And the newer work, I have to say, is even better than the first time around. Their new stonemason is OUTSTANDING. He matched everything perfectly. He's brilliant.

    5 stars.

They stand behind their work like almost no other companies do.

One of my experiences of Garden View was going to the Nursery off the 605 over 15 years ago. Seeing the pictures on the wall, I wanted to make a pool in my backyard. I saw a pool with a shape I liked online, and Mark and company took my idea and and incorporated others to turn my wall into a spilllway. We had discussed doing an infinity pool but decided it wasn't fitting. The creativity from the team has been amazing, and the construction team has been responsive, professional, detailed in their approach, and communicative. It's been a great experience. I've spent a lot of money but from my perspective I've gotten a lot of bang for my buck. Eddie, the project manager, has been able to answer all my questions and give me responses to safety issues and any other concerns. I'm very happy with the final outcome!

Garden View Landscape is a thoughtful, very easy to work with, and highly professional group that goes above and beyond. This contractor is an ethical oasis at a time when costs are skyrocketing. We can't say enough to praise Garden View landscape for the extraordinary job they did for us completely transforming our residential environment. We went through several contractors trying to find somebody to work with us, within our budget and timeline. Throughout the pandemic, we had struggled to find the resources to create a new campus for the clients we care for. We managed to obtain a turf replacement grant to partially fund the project, and we were scrambling to find a capable design and installation contractor. Garden View was amazing, not only was their design thoughtful and cost-effective but their construction crew and project execution was completed seamlessly. Ever struggle to get a hold of a contractor once you hire them? These guys respond in minutes every time we have a thought or concern. Even after the project is done. We now have an amazing, smartly designed with thrifty drip irrigation, campus for our grateful clients. The transformation is incredible and they did it all. From design, construction, installation and even plant care and placement. They have their own nursery! The choices were beautiful and the owner came out himself to help decide where and how to place the plants. This was a huge project with a tiny budget. In the end they landscaped more than an acre and the results are stunning, incredibly easy to care for and has made an incredible difference for our clients. Higher these guys!

We hired Garden View because of hearing positive experiences from our friends. Personally, we felt everyone at Garden View was very friendly and professional. The crew were punctual and detailed. The project manager Eddie was especially dedicated. We were very happy with the new pavers and our new landscapes.

We had a great experience with Garden View! Mark did a great job getting us started with a concept, Justin created a beautiful design, Keely helped taylor it to our budget and Eddie was incredible managing our complete backyard pool and landscaping project. I loved that they handled all aspects of the project start to finish. All their guys were excellent at all the trades. The communication was very good throughout the duration and their attention to detail and holding our budget were really impressive. Garden View’s price was in line with other bids we got, but their control of the project kept them on schedule. They really know what they are doing and we couldn’t be more pleased!

We are so happy we chose GV for our project!!! What started out as a dream actually came to fruition better than planned, with few setbacks, and on-budget. For a family who's never tackled a project this large, we were extremely concerned about delays and costs. We now look out at our new backyard and pool and just smile, relieved we made the right choice partnering up with Mark and his Team. Thank you Garden View...we'd do it all over again in without hesitation.

    DETAILS:
    1. WHY WE CONSULTED GV - We compared actual site work from other contractors, but noticed annoying details being missed by other GC's. Such as, really bad tile cuts, pool equipment haphazardly located/mounted, etc. GV's work didn't' exhibit these faults at the example site we saw. That same attention came into play in our project too. Moreover, they were very responsive to our initial bid requests. We were not waiting for people to get back to us, and the concept design was as professional a meeting as we've ever experienced. Well done!

    2. PLANNING - Once we fell in love with the concept, we were brought back in to review costing. This turned out to be a learning experience for us. You really don't know what some work entails until it's looked at on-site. Nonetheless, we made several changes to the plan until it fell within our budget. What we appreciated was that they offered advice on critical components, but there was never any pressure to keep work that wasn't essential to our concept and/or budget. We were adamant to get the plan right so as to eliminate changes or delays after work had started.

    3. WORK - Project Manager (Eddie) is outstanding. The coordinating of phases from start to finish was surprsingly smooth. Eddie constantly kept us informed via email and text of work that day, work that week, and work on the horizon. We have 3 cars occupying our driveway and a dog in our backyard, so we needed to be on the same page at all times to allow access to the yard and to keep our dog safe. Workers kept the site clean and showed up on time. Eddie walks thru with you and makes sure any thing like a loose paver gets addressed. All of GV's install work (we had landscape, hardscape, gates, pool and electrical) was top notch. All the equipment and quality of materials was the best (ie 3HP pump rather than 1.5HP, Marathon 2 sod).

    4. CHANGE ORDERS - we expected there to be some, and there were. One upgrade was mandated by the city. A few others came from us (we loved the plant selection process!). What is most important here is that Eddie has a ton of experience. He guided us on tile choices, paver colors, and in some instances got us some example work to see in person. We really appreciated this so much! He genuinely cares to get it right.

    5. INVOICING - as clear and organized as a bank statement. Pay thru a portal as work gets completed. Simple, easy, transparent.

    6. TIME FRAME - besides permitting (which GV has no control over), our project only suffered about 3 weeks more than estimated. That was really due to Christmas time off and constant rain in early march.

    7. FINSH - We just completed our final walk thru to tie-up loose ends and any discuss any future warranty needs. It's reassuring to know that they are here for us after it's all said and done.

Thank you Mark and the GV Team! Before and after pics are included in this review.
