I contacted LA framing and concrete for a Retaining Wall job here in the Hollywood Hills. I had very positive experiences with LA Framing and Concrete. Santos was very helpful, knowledgeable and generous with his time. I end up doing a lot of the work myself, but I could easily recommend this company.

LA Framing and Concrete is a top notch outfit. They provided foundation and framing services on a custom home I built in LA. They were not the cheapest but not the most expensive which is good. They started on time and finished ahead of schedule. Santos is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to framing and concrete. He found a few issues with the design before we started. They are in my contact list for all concrete and framing.

We recently hired LACFCO for a foundation project on our hillside home, which involved installing 14 piles (caissons), grade beams and a retaining wall, and a new septic system. From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and highly skilled.

Working on a hillside can be challenging, but Santos and his team handled every aspect with precision and expertise. They communicated clearly throughout the project, kept everything on schedule, and ensured that all work met the highest standards. The crew was hardworking, respectful, and left the site clean every day.

We had a very disappointing experience with Brothers Pool Service before service even began.

At the initial meeting, everything sounded great. George was very friendly and thorough, and we agreed to a flat monthly rate of $260 that included all chemicals, salt, and maintenance.

However, things quickly changed after the agreement was in place. Right before the first scheduled service, he asked me to go out and purchase 12 bags of salt myself, which made no sense given that supplying materials was part of what we agreed he would handle. When I pushed back, he instead sent a $300 invoice for the salt with no details—no brand, no weight per bag, nothing to verify what was being purchased.

When I asked for basic transparency, he became defensive and repeatedly interrupted me. He also tried to justify not providing any details by saying he’s a “licensed contractor” and doesn’t need to share that information—which frankly made no sense. Being a contractor doesn’t eliminate the need for clear communication and itemization, especially when you’re asking a customer to pay for materials.

We ultimately decided to part ways before service even started. If this is how issues are handled upfront, it didn’t give us confidence in how things would be handled long-term.

I would recommend getting very clear, detailed expectations in writing before moving forward.

STRONGLY RECOMMEND. Extremely knowledgeable and excellent communicators. Diagnosed the problems and had them fixed in less than 10 minutes. I was so impressed with Georges knowledge I came inside and terminated our current service provider because I want Brothers Pool Service to maintain our pool. You just don't find customer service like this anymore. The nicest guy and so customer oriented. He provided me so much information so I understand our equipment better now too. THANK YOU SO MUCH GEORGE.

Love their work. No complaints but “late Fee” and continual rate increases of this time $20 a month is only pissing your clientele off. Your company needs to find a way to manage your own price increases. I have a self providing salt system, what chemicals are you asking me to pay $20 a mont more for. My rate will now be $150 a month which according to Google is the absolute HIGHEST POOL SERVICE RATES in Los Angeles. I’m afraid this will be my last month with Brothers…go beef someone else.

Our filter top completely blew off from filter on a Wednesday morning, yard completely flooded the day when pool guy comes to clean the pool. It was a Hayward filter & we were told it was too small for the pool size a year ago. Pool guy said he’d look into finding the replacement part, never heard back. So gave these guys a call on that Friday, sent pics of the wreckage to them. I s/w Jorge who said he could be here w/new filter by 9am Saturday. He shows up 5-10 mins early, hooked new filter up in a little over an hour, took the time to explain to me best times, speeds to run pool pump per time of year, save in energy costs, how to maintain the new filter. He was a complete pro, enthusiastic to give me any tips he could. I’ll definitely use these guys again.

Brothers Pool Service provides pool service for a home that we rent out. We had a few other companies before them, but none had the expertise that they have. They have maintained the pool beautifully. In addition, they just completed a replacement of the skimmer which was causing a leak. They took care of it quickly, replaced the brick to match and it looks perfect. Jorge explained with photos everything he had done. Atosa is the office manager and is always very helpful.

Brandon from Excel Home Builders provided a bid for a full landscape project at my home (fencing, turf, concrete, gravel, gates, etc.). He was on time, professional, and thorough during the walkthrough. He delivered a detailed proposal, had excellent design/layout ideas, and was responsive to follow-up questions throughout the process.

I ultimately went another route with my project, but I appreciated the time and effort Brandon put into the process and his consistent communication. I would consider Excel Home Builders for future projects and would recommend reaching out if you’re looking for construction or landscaping services.

Worst experience ever dealing with this company. The office manager is clearly not educated enough to hold this position. They need to reconsider who they have as management because clearly this woman isn’t competent to do the job , such a bad look for their company. The office manager is a representation of your company and this definitely makes this company look like trash.

About a year and a half ago, I hired DPT Construction to perform an expansion and remodel of my practice, located in a strip mall. It was a complicated project because we had to build out the new half, then operate the business out of that space while the old area was remodeled to make a complete, well designed and functioning practice in the end. It was work that required speed and efficiency, while maintaining quality work and DPT Construction excelled at all of the above. The crew and sub-contractors worked quickly and smoothly, while respecting our need to run a business and making sure not to interfere with our business activities in any substantial way.
As always, the job required me to make a million decisions and choices, often on the fly when problems came up. David was extremely helpful making those decisions and his experience with the special needs and requirements of a veterinary hospital were indispensable.
In the end DPT came in on budget and ahead of schedule which was pretty awesome, considering the challenges faced. I get nothing but compliments from my clients about how great everything looks and so far it is holding up extremely well. If you are in the process of building or remodeling a veterinary practice I can highly recommend DPT construction. You will not be disappointed!
