Cristian Torres has worked on two properties for me in San Francisco; he is one of the most highly skilled, service-oriented electrical experts you will find in the field. Cristian is diligent, knowledgeable, problem-solving, and attuned to his client's needs. He and his team are equally capable tackling large-scale knob-and-tube replacement as they are with smaller, technical projects. I am not sure I have ever seen someone work with such dedication. I highly recommend Torres Electrical and Design for any of your electrical needs. 10/10.

Looked around for an electrician that did clean work at a fair price. Cristian is exactly that. Very thorough with his scope of work descriptions and very patient and descriptive when I asked him job related questions. Work is done quick, clean, and to code! If you're in the bay area looking to get electrical work done, I cannot recommend Torres Electrical and Design enough! I wasn't disappointed and you won't be either.

It’s extremely rare (for me) to find an honest person who is also a well skilled electrician. Cristian did a huge wiring project for us in December and came back today to do some switch replacing that I’m unable to and shouldn’t do electrical wise, all at a reasonable fair cost ! Big plus, On time too !!!

For background, I owned a duplex and converted it to condos in San Francisco. I've worked with a variety of other contractors on different projects on this building to accomplish the conversion (HVAC, roofing, bathroom renovation, electrical, etc.), so I know the building quite well. I also know what it's like to work with a variety of contractors and the issues that can arise (delays, failure to pass inspections, not showing up on time or at all, getting invoices with missing scope, etc.).

Cristian Torres is a fantastic person to work with! I started working with Cristian for a variety of electric projects on this duplex approximately 3 years ago in order to bring the duplex up to code for the condo conversion process. He has been excellent to work with at every step of the way. He is always on time, delivers quality work, sets expectations properly, communicates clearly, and lets you know the current progress/next steps every time you interact with him. He shows up every day with a smile on his face, takes pride in his work every day (he likes showing off his work 😉), and I've never had a bad interaction with him (even if I was having a bad day and being rude to him).

Some of the work I've had Cristian do was:

- Replace the building main panel and sub panels (Cristian handled the 18-month-long coordination with PG&E entirely and proactively updated us on status; the reason it took 18 months was on PG&E's side, not Cristian's)

- Bring 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms up to current code (as of 2024)

- Detangle complex wiring to completely separate two units and a garage/storage space so each unit was billed properly for their actual electrical usage

- Put in multi-way lightswitch wiring in our garage that actually works properly

- Install a baseboard heater with smart thermostat for a baby room

I've occasionally tossed some unconventional ideas at him, and he's always considered what my end goal is, made me feel heard/understood, and worked with me to get to the desired end state (or simply tell me why it's a bad idea in the first place).

I've already recommended Cristian to other people and he's the first person I reach out to anytime I have any electrical needs.

Very pleased! Had an urgent issue pop-up last minute on a Saturday and a tech was out to support us within an hour. Issue resolved, incredibly knowledgeable, warm and efficient. We will definitely be using in the future.

These guys rock! We had a breaker or something go out, and our usual electrician didn't want to come out until the morning. This was at 6 PM. I manage corporate concierges so this is unacceptable to me. I called Mr. Sparky and the tech was here 15 mins later (he had been in the area shopping, so yeah, we were lucky!)
Not only did Sam fix the issue, he let us know that our panel was full of breakers that had been recalled over a decade ago and never replaced by the previous owner. You'd think the home inspector would've caught that since they're very distinctive (I did look them up)
I'll definitely be looking to hire them again. It's good to see pride in work and outstanding customer service.
