TL/DR: THEY RIPPED MY PANTS, BLAMED IT ON ME , AND THEN THE OWNER CUSSED ME OUT. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I got my suit dry cleaned here last week and when I opened it up at home I found a couple of rips in the back of my pants that weren't there when I dropped them off. When I called in and told them about it the first thing the owner did was deny that it was their fault. The first excuse he gave me was that they have never ripped anyones clothing, ever. And that it was not possible for them to rip anyones clothing.

He proceeded to be very rude to me over the phone and do nothing but deny that it was even possible, so I decided to go down to their shop and show him.

When I got there he looked into their system to see if they had reported any damage when I had dropped them off, which they didn't find because there wasn't any. In fact, when I initially dropped off my suit he went over my whole thing to mark any stains with red tape. The rips are very noticeable and right on the butt area, so I'm certain that either he or I would have seen it when he was going over it.

So he gave me my money back for the cleaning (without reimbursement for the damaged pants) and continued to deny accountability. I wasn't accepting his gaslighting which upset him so he proceeded to cuss me out. (I have a clear audio recording of the entire interaction)

Excuses he gave me
1. I can't check every piece of the suit when it comes in.
- He did check my suit when it came in, I was standing right there as he did it. The rip is in an obvious spot and easy to see, there is no way both of us would have missed it.
2. We have never ripped anything, ever. We can't rip anything here.
- Crazy for obvious reasons
3. This rip is 5 years old (this is the one he kept repeating)
- I've gotten this suit dry cleaned there 3 times in the last year and they have no record of it having a rip any of the times. If they did he would have said that when he looked into his computer.
4. You're not a man
- Ok man, whatever you say

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Mistakes happen, and that's fine, but the level of excuses was crazy right from the start. It's clear that if something ends up happening to your stuff, they will just gaslight you.

My husband and I have been utilizing their services for over a year now, and I must say, we are extremely impressed with the professionalism and the service we received from the new owners! We highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and excellent service!

We have been using Crown Cleaners for the past eight years! The owner and those who work for her are all very friendly. They have gone out of their way to offer customer service at a very high level to some very demanding customers. I know because I've witnessed it! In fact it's amazing how rude and demanding some customers can be. But the positive side of it was how professionally the owner and the workers handle themselves in those un-fun situations. I like these people, they have always done a good job with our clothes, they have always communicated when there is a degree of risk in cleaning a difficult-to-clean article, and they haven't lost a piece of our clothing. I'm not sure why the mean spirited and flaming reviews exist and because of the vitriolic nature, I can't believe it's only about the cleaning. These people are wonderful,. We have gone to them for a couple of years now, and never a bad experience. Far more worthy than a one-star rating. And far more worthy than the treatment they receive by some of their customers...I saw the video of the rude and criminally inclined woman who did everything she could to get a discount, and finally resorted to chasing Mona to the back of the store and attacking her. Just appalling.

The staff is super friendly and they have good prices.

My clothes come out looking brand new after every visit. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a dry cleaner in the area.

Don't go! They ruined a pair of very expensive women's pants with their dry cleaning fluid, charged me for work they did not do and owe me $17.90 for services not rendered, which I will never receive. I believe the two tech people who bought the business had great intentions, but they said their margins were low and had to choose a different dry cleaner. In addition, they just let the business fall apart. I moved to a different cleaning establishment and they said they get one customer a day from Crown.

I dropped off a suit here last minute before a New York trip, and they still managed to get it cleaned and pressed with a super fast turnaround.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and didn’t make me feel rushed even though I clearly was. The suit came back looking perfect. Great service all around, this is definitely my go-to spot now.

The whole process took less than an hour and the results were immediate. Can’t believe how much lint had built up behind the wall.
