Had an urgent need for my condo in La Mesa. Affordable drain was able to schedule service the very next day. Technician Rob was on-time, and professional. He was able to explain what was going on, how to fix it, and preventive steps in the future. Overall a great experience. I would rate 10 stars if I could!

Repeat customer for years. Always the same problem every few years, sewage line and sink backing up. Relied on them to diagnose and help solve the same problems this time, but only sewage line was worked on, not sink - I wasn't aware of the difference. Saw some drainage problems with sink here and there, but got around to calling them a month later. Price would have been an extra $60 + $150 invoiced had they fix same day, but a month later, price was $150. After escalating the problem up to a manager, the solution was "too bad" it's your problem, not ours. Customer service is the differentiator with all businesses especially when problems come up. Had they said, we understand the miscommunication, we'll honor the $60 because the problem should have been addressed in the first visit, they would have had a customer for decades to come. But they made the problem ours, gave zero flexibility, took no fault, and said, we don't ask probing questions to try to diagnose the entire job because we don't want to be seen as upselling. To be experts in their field and not educate a customer on problems they called about sounds like poor problem solvers. Called a higher rated competitor near us, they are coming out for $95 and has a guarantee and educated us. More affordable and customer focus, companies like Affordable Drain will continue to lose repeat customers when problems arise and they just don't have the long term thinking to help solve them and turn them into life time customers. Don't use these guys, you know how good a vendor is when problems come up and they help you move past it and make it right for everyone.

OK, you won't believe this: called affordable drain at 1:04 and they were at my door at 1:22. Carlin and Dan were helpful, kind, professional and knowledgeable. They were in and out in less than 40 minutes. They provided helpful suggestions to prevent me from having to call them again. I would recommend this company and these men to anyone! Affordable Drain Service was referred to me by my regular plumber. I have used them twice to resolve difficult clogged lines. Using the latest technology along with proven experience, Dan and his crew laid out the options BEFORE attempting to resolve the problems. They carefully explained the procedures and successfully carried out the best option. Not just good, but masterful in their performance.

I have used Affordable Drain a few times over the last 15 years. This is the most professional and honest drain business you will encounter. (There are a few out there that will do some bait and switch.) On my most recent service call, I had a huge mess in a guest bathroom that was the result of tree roots getting into the pipes. They used a camera, figured it out super quickly, and took care of the problem. The price was reasonable. And now with the Covid-19, they are being super careful. They are wearing masks, social distancing. They are taking employee temperatures daily. If you are going to have a drain service come to your, home, this is the one you want.

Kyle and Jesuś were top notch! Rescue Rooter took 2 hours and ultimately couldn’t unclog my sewer drain line, they knocked it out in 15 mins!

Unclogging a kitchen sink drain seemed like a good `do-it-youself' job to me. Hours later after wrestling with two plumbers snakes and adding boiling water and chemical drain cleaners that failed to do the job, I gave up.

Affordable Drain' Service's tech spent 4.5 hours trying to unclog it. It turns out the drain is a nightmare of horizontal stretches with 90 degree bends perfect for trapping food debris. And it was all filled with dark, sticky sludge that would seal up after a snake passed through it. So, it is no wonder that my own attempts failed! The company owner showed up and using specialty equipment was able to remove many pounds of disgusting goo. Now the drain works fine.

The bill was more than the minimum charge by several fold. But the price was fair for the amount of work, and they got the job done. The owner recommended a simple plumbing modification to add a `clean-out` port and make future maintenance simpler. Our plumber made that change and our drain should be a lot easier to keep running freely. We will use this service the next time our drains need attention.
