Golden Coast Construction and Restoration Review

On June 4th 2025, our family home of over 53 years unexpectedly went up in flames. It was a near total loss but by the grace of God we were able to rebuild. On that day, I'm not sure where they came from but Golden Coast Restoration showed up at the scene. Robert and Elizabeth introduced themselves to myself and my sister who was residing in the home at the time. They made sure my family had a place to stay until we figured things out.

They explained the process of how they got involved. They met with us separately and explained what to expect from them (if they were selected them as our contractor) as well as our insurance company. We later met Rudy, their supervisor. All of them fully explained what was to happen.

Because the house 🏠 was so old there were code issues that needed to be addressed. If it were not for Golden Coast, I'm honestly not sure if the insurance company would have been forthcoming or even if the rebuild would have been as thorough as it was through Golden Coast. Also because the house was very old there was no exit at the back of the house, so we as a family opted to add a sliding patio door in the back, as well as other things that were not present in the house before the fire 🔥, i.e a dishwasher, ceiling lights in every room, etc. Rudy was very thorough and diligent and moving things around to minimize the out-of-pocket expenses that my family and I would be required to pay as it was not covered by insurance.

Rudy was very accommodating. We made so many changes lol, but he was very patient, thorough and responsive to each chane. Elizabeth, bless her heart, continually reached out to us over the months to check on us to see how we were doing and to see if we had any questions.

Cody the project manager was great. He was very responsive and always willing to meet us on site to allow us to pick the specific colors for what we wanted in the house, as well as to see the progress and ask any questions of him or anyone they contracted with.

On March 02, 2026 our home was complete and I met the Golden Coast staff at the house 🏠 to obtain the keys 🔑 to our newly remodeled home. The house 🏠 is great, amazing in fact. Golden Coast did a phenomenal job. We have absolutely no complaints and would certainly recommend Golden Coast to anyone. I give Golden Coast the maximum of 5 stars ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ because they certainly earned them in all categories available. Thank you so much Golden Goast.

Our house caught on fire 2-5-2025 and was finished on 4-1-2026,about 14 months. The restoration would have been faster
but our insurance company was very slow in paying our claim.
Golden Coast Construction did a very good job with the project
and the house is almost brand new,with new roof,flooring,all inside wiring,sheet rock,and kitchen. The finished home looks beautiful. We would recommend Golden Coast Construction.

Our Project Manager, Roman, was exceptional throughout the entire experience. He had an incredible ability to guide us with expert suggestions and thoughtful recommendations while still giving us the space to make our own decisions and create a home that truly felt like ours. His balance of expertise, patience, and respect for our vision made such a difference during an emotional process.

We also deeply appreciated Rudy and his receptiveness to feedback along the way. Any questions or concerns were always met with professionalism, responsiveness, and a genuine desire to make things right. It was clear the team truly cared about the outcome and about our family’s experience throughout the rebuild.

The final result exceeded our expectations, and we absolutely love how our home turned out. We are so thankful to Golden Coast for helping us rebuild not just a house, but a home we are proud to be in again.

My experience with Golden Coast has been fantastic. From the very beginning day that the fire occurred they have been with us. In my opinion, there are first class organization.

My husband and I started a two bathroom renovation last February. Needless to say.. a project that was supposed to take 10 weeks. After months of dealing with constant errors and added costs...the last company we used turned in a nightmare, we ultimately had to fire them through legal means.
The contractor we used could have topped anyone's home renovation horror stories and I heard a lot after sharing ours.
However, some renovation Angel finally heard our prayers and sent us “Golden Coast Construction” . I cannot say how beautifully our bathrooms turned out ! I wanted to share this with you all because as I said we have heard so many stories about people loosing money, time and now suffer Renovation PTSD!
Golden Coast Construction “Tony” listened to us and took care to even the tiniest details. Very talented, honest, trustworthy, dependable, and extremely aimed to please and give us exactly what we wanted . He has our as well as other projects listed on his site. If you need renovation, bathroom, kitchen, carpententry , etc I highly recommend!!!!!! Save yourself and go with them!!

Faulty electric outlets in my kitchen that this company "restored" continues to go out whenever i use any of my kitchen appliances. Not only have they ignored my calls to address the issue, once they finally show up to "repair" the issue all i'm told is there's nothing wrong with the faulty outlets.

We like working with Golden Coast so much that we hired them for three projects and would certainly hire them again in the future.

One of the best things about Golden Coast is that you can trust that they will do quality work. They honor their word and follow-through on commitments.

We first met Alex, the owner, in 2012 when he bid a roofing, windows and siding project for our four unit HOA. I worked closely with Alex and his team throughout the project. They did quality work and completed the project on time.

In 2014, our duplex caught fire and was destroyed. We immediately knew who to contact to restore the property. After the fire, several contractors tried to quickly take-on the project and many sought the project for the insurance money, but did not offer quality input or services for the project. Golden Coast, on the other hand, offered a fair bid for the restoration project. Not only that, but they supported us through the entire process with the insurance company, ensuring that we had the proper paperwork completed and advising us where and when appropriate to remain firm with our insurance company. Golden Coast managed the entire restoration project, inside and out, completely transforming our duplex. After their restoration, we were able to immediately rent both sides of our duplex and our tenants have been very pleased with their work.

In 2015, we remodeled our townhouse bathrooms and kitchen. Again, we were very pleased with Golden Coast's work. My husband and I are very detailed and Alex T, Paul and the team ensured that each of our requests were met to make sure we were happy with the results. Thanks to their detailed work, we were able to list and sell our townhome for a greater value.

We even had an issue with our roof at one point due to a severe windstorm and even though the issue was not covered by our warranty, Josanne and Leo helped ensure that the problem was fixed free of charge.

We trust Golden Coast and their quality work and will hire them again for our next restoration project.

Golden Coast is first class. Jim, our initial contact, spent a lot of time explaining, measuring, and bidding the job. Sergi, Alex and Nick were fabulous. They were perfectionists. They worked long hours. They cleaned the premises at the end of every day and hauled away the refuse. They were professional and personable. The siding is beautiful. At a desperate and critical time such as the loss of a home destroyed by fire, you wonder who and where to turn. With the personal concerns I had to manage - family, relocating, time lost from work, and endless days of phone calls, the last thing I was in need of was concern of whether or not I'd found the right company to restore and rebuild my home. Bombarded with calls from construction companies both day and night I had to decide which one to select. If you have never had this type of loss, you will not understand the devastation, which ensues. After days of research and due diligence, I chose Golden Coast. More specifically, because of the sincere and honest approach which Mike (a member of the company team) exemplified. I could not have made a better or wiser decision! From start to finish Golden Coast Construction has literally helped change the lives of my family. The professionalism of this company is unmatched. If they say they are going to do something, they do it! There were no hidden surprises along the way, and they listened to what my concerns were then exceeded the expectations. If you are looking for an honest, professional, and more importantly, "CARING" company for your home construction or restoration needs, you need not look any further than Golden Coast! Long overdue review for Golden Coast Construction.
Integrity is the one word that I would use for Golden Coast Construction team. I contacted this company last year because big portion of our home was destroyed by fire. As you know construction is full of surprises and our family was under big stress but Golden Coast made it as smooth as possible and were always on top of everything the finished job looks beautiful as well!!. Paul and Dennis were my go to guys.

There was never a time when I couldn't call and ask any questions, there were frequent checkups on the progress at my home by either Paul or Dennis.
They showed much dedication and integrity in their work. I recommend this place to anyone looking for renovations on anything or repairs or even a simple remodel!!!

He would call and ask questions like, "Would you prefer this type of trim around the windows, or this one? Here's a picture of both." or "We found a potential issue with the subflooring. We're going to fix it this way, and here's why."

The selection process, facilitated through Builder's Trend, was surprisingly streamlined and stress-free. The platform's user-friendly interface allowed us to easily browse and choose finishes, fixtures, and materials, ensuring that our rebuilt home reflected our personal style.

The entire rebuilding journey with Golden Coast, led by Rudy and Roman, was remarkably smooth and efficient. They transformed a traumatic experience into a manageable process, delivering a beautifully rebuilt home that exceeded our expectations. We are immensely grateful for their expertise, professionalism, and unwavering support. If you're facing a similar situation, we wholeheartedly recommend Golden Coast.
