We had the BEST experience with General Contractor Marlon at Coto. We found ourselves in a pinch when we were in the process of prepping and painting our home. We discovered extensive dryrot and wood damage to our home’s exterior which was beyond the abilities of our painters. Marlon was very responsive and quickly came to assess our repair needs. He provided a comprehensive written bid for the work which included sourcing very rare 1960’s reverse board & batton siding that had to be custom made and hand milled! Marlon was thorough, communicative, took extra precautions for safety, cleaned up every day, and we got our home looking brand new!

What I appreciated the most was the daily updates with progress reports photos with before and after to show what work was being done. I really value Marlon‘s attention to detail and excellent communication. He does quality work and for a reasonable price, because we all know in the end, you get what you pay for. And we wanted the best.

My husband and I have worked with A LOT of contractors over the last 20 years with our line of work and we were thoroughly impressed! We will not hesitate to use Marlon again in the very near future!

Marlon and his crew helped us with putting our place back together after mold remediation was completed. Marlon was great at communicating things as they were being done, helped guide us through our concerns during the whole process, and was open to outside ideas and giving us ideas to improving our place that were practical and effective. We thought the bid was quite reasonable, and the work was done in the time frame Marlon projected. Even after all the work was finished, Marlon kept checking in to make sure the recent rains didn’t create the same problem that we had started with. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

They say that contractors are a nightmare. Well that wasn't the case with Coto Construction. I didn't have any issues. Marlon communicated with me during the entire process and often went out of his way to make sure I was happy. He didn't make promises he couldn't keep and was very professional. My ADU turned out beautifully. And they finished ahead of schedule. I have a contractor for life. I highly recommend Coto Construction!

Marlon Coto was probably one of the best contractors I have dealt with in a long time. The work was immaculate. I was very happy with how he worked with me to get the project completed. I would recommend him to anyone who needs construction work or an ADU built
