As a retired teacher, I would grade Peace of Mind an A+. They were very professional and great with communication. I set up the dashboard and they pretty much did the rest. My project quickly passed inspection and the check is in the mail from EBB. I highly recommend Peace of Mind Structural.

Peace of Mind Structural was excellent to work with! They helped me through all aspects of the Earthquake Brace and Bolt program. All of their employees were extremely professional and they made every scheduled appointment. They pulled permits and got the city inspector to do final sign off very quickly.

Peace of Mind did really good work at every step from first contact through completion. They showed up on time and they were polite. The quality of their work was excellent (I crawled under the house to check). I asked them to do a few extra braces that were not on the plan and they did these for me at no extra charge. I would give them a six if I could.

Dealing with Peace of Mind Structural was like dealing with family.
(In a good way.) From estimation to permitting to completion, they did a great job of making the process fair, honest, trouble free, and as smooth as possible. Literally "Peace of Mind" throughout the entire process!

The team at Peace of Mind did a great job with the entire project. From managing all the paperwork and approvals, to the actual retrofit structural work. All work was done in a very professional manner - on time, and on budget. And their office and project manager kept me, the owner, apprised on the status every step of the way. I highly recommend them as a great contractor for earthquake retrofit or other renovation projects.

I highly recommend Peace of Mind Structural. They did our seismic retrofit and handled all the EBB procedure. It was completely hands off for us. They handled the full process end to end, were very responsive, always on time, a pleasure to work with.

Both of them were very friendly and responsive, and they came back with a fair bid for our job. Raphael lead the team that did our job, and he was also very friendly along with his crew. Throughout the job, Brandon stayed in touch with us to ensure we understood all the work that was being done and answered all of our questions.

I found Peace Of Mind from the EBB directory. Brian came and spent a good amount of time underneath the house. He gave me a thorough explanation and later on a proposal. I had a couple of other estimates and decided to go with Peace Of Mind. I met Brittany at the office and she explained the process in great detail. I also worked with Caroline and Irene. They were very patient with me. They addressed my questions and concerns promptly either by phone or by email. The workers on site were very professional and they spent two days on site. I give Peace of Mind Structural a 12 out of 10. We needed a drain, retaining wall, a revision of several piers in our crawl space and a lot of soil removed. It was a significant project. They took care of everything, including permits and dealing with the city we live in. They even did some earthquake retrofitting that we felt would be beneficial. The entire staff of Peace of Mind Structural were skillful, organized, professional, and timely.

I got a few different estimates and from the beginning Peace of Mind was professional, direct and fair. They were knowledgeable and patient in walking us through the EBB process. They proposed a reasonable approach to the retrofit that was customized to our house (including plans to address a soft story part of the house and an interior pier that needed shoring up). They kicked off the work within weeks of our acceptance to the EBB program and finished on time and on budget and with solid workmanship. Overall, they just made it as easy as it probably can be to do an earthquake retrofit. I'd happily recommend Peace of Mind to anyone looking for similar services.
