Great company

Don't even consider doing small jobs even if they are important to the structural integrity of the a house.

They did a foundation repair for us. Tony and his assitant responded to our message promply. They explanined the proces to us throughout the process. They coomunicated with our engineers to ensure the quarlity. They are very fast finishing the project. We are very satisfied with them and their work and will recommend them to others.

Whoever designed and built my home neglected to account for just how much the hill it's at the base of would shift and put pressure on the foundation. Over the years, that pressure's been building up, and it recently started bowing in the sides and compromising the foundation. Fortunately, I called these guys in time. They put in a retaining wall and fixed the damage that had been caused. It could've been a lot worse than it was, though, but thankfully RWR handled it.

This team was great to work with. I had a smaller project at my house, but the communication from the RWR team made it seem like I was a priority to them. They did exactly what they said they'd do. Couldn't be happier.

I contacted the company a month ago for a job to build a retaining wall in my backyard. Someone from RWR came out to my house to take a look at the job. He was very arrogant and super difficult to talk to!

He did not spend time to explain to me his evaluation of the job, what steps need to be done, etc. Instead, he spent most of the time bragging how great and desirable RWR is. "You would be lucky if we can do it for you before Christmas!" Said this guy!

As soon as I gently asked what he thought of the job was going to cost me. He very rudely interrupted: "if you are looking for the cheapest guy, we are not! "

He left without giving me any good unserstanding of what is going to be done if they are hired ( the whole point of site visit! ) he promised to get back to me on a rough quote in the next couple of days. That never happened! I called to follow up three weeks later, still have not heard a word from them!

I talked to different contractors about the same job before, no one is as inpatient, rude, unhelpful as the RWR people.

From their work ethics, I don't foresee this being the type of people I want to work with! A complete waste of my time!

I called RWR Construction Inc. after discovering I needed a driveway repair service for my home in San Rafael. My driveway was old and had started to develop cracks and loose sections, and rather than have it completely replaced, I wanted to see if it could be saved. The experts at RWR Construction Inc. came in and within a short time, they had my driveway looking and feeling like new!

We had to do a complicated foundation repair in San Francisco. RWR Construction Inc. delivered everything we looked for in a contractor to do the job. And they did so exceptionally well -- every step of the way.

Along with proof of all the necessary insurances that they carry, RWR gave us a comprehensive, professional, contract detailing the job they would do and their estimates of cost and time required. And they honored every provision of the contract .

The hardworking , courteous work crew was supervised full time by their foreman Ruben Hernandez,who was exceptionally skilled in every aspect of the project and a great problem solver.

Ruben, along with the General Manager Tony Camacho and Project Manager Trevor Vantrease, kept us abreast of the work in progress and promptly addressed and resolved all our concerns.

The administrative staff – Karina Ochoa, Laura Cifuentes, Maria Saavedra, Elsa Rodriguez, and Giovanna Jimenez – coordinated all aspects of the project with superb efficiency and courtesy under all kinds of pressure and helped run our project as smoothly as Rolls Royce.

Thanks to all of them, our project was completed with great success and on time.

We certainly look forward to working with RWR Construction on our future projects.

For years we have had water intrusion and have tried everything. Just drainage was not working as the house seems to be at a low spot and the house is on a slab. Finally I decided to have a sump pump installed. Tony from RWR came out a couple of days after I called saw what was needed. Within days they started and actually built a sump out of concrete and a pump installed. So far so good. The workers were on time and every day they were here you would of never known as they cleaned up every day. I was so happy to find a company that completely picks up after themselves. Thanks RWR

Retaining wall needed immediate repair. Called RWR. Tony came to the site promptly and explained the solution. The work was done on schedule, as promised, and in a highly professional and courteous manner. I was especially impressed with his crew and their attention to the details of the installation. Highly recommend RWR.

We've had three projects with RWR at our house to shore up rotting beams/foundations. Really major-league work, jacking up whole walls to access dry rot underneath. Everyone at RWR was just great, and very well versed in their field. Everything was explained thoroughly -- very important in a house with loads of hidden defects!

RWR did a swimming pool “abandonment” of our leaking, 62-year-old pool situated next to a hillside. They also demolished an old deck and fence and put in a beautifully crafted and solid new deck resting on reinforced concrete piers, a new stretch of fence and a beautiful new railing on the deck. They removed the old concrete surrounding our pool in preparation for a separate landscaping company to install new concrete and an architect-designed garden to replace the pool area. RWR obtained engineering reports and permits for the project, and their work always passed inspections. They own their own equipment and their crew was not only competent and highly skilled, they were polite, respectful, efficient with the delivery of supplies, and considerate. Everyone in the company was easy to contact, responded immediately to questions, and communicated well with us. We don’t think many other companies could have dealt with the complexities and demands of our project, and we are convinced they are among the premier companies for such work in the Bay Area. Kudos and thanks to Tony, Raul, Alejandra, Pedro, Hector, Milder and all who worked on our project!

Great experience from the very beginning, from office staff, fore man at site visit and then followed up with the crew on project. Thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and pleasant. Can't ask for anything more. Definitely on our short list of subcontractors to call.

I had three bids for the retaining wall I didn't want (but city insisted I have). In other words, it wasn't a project of joy for me. I chose RWR - they were the middle bid, and Tony impressed my geologist partner with his expertise. RWR moved quickly once the city FINALLY issued the permit, and completed the job on time. There were a couple of change orders due to the geotech, but I felt the changes were fair. I hope to never build another retaining wall, but I would use RWR if I did.

We hired RWR for a 42' retaining wall between our neighbor's yard and ours. Tony and his teams were always punctual, courteous, and professional, and there was good communication throughout. Permits were obtained from the city of SF in what seemed like record time compared to stories we'd heard, and once initiated the work was completed promptly and straight through, without intermittent delays. The job was completed faster than estimated, and fairly within the bid. They were very accomodating at the end of the job with design issues around replacing the neighbor's fence on top of the wall, and cleanup was fast and thorough.

We hired RWR construction company to replace 900 lineal feet of structural retaining wall at our condo association. I seamlessly worked with management weekly and on a daily basis with the job foreman and his crews. They had all equipment and manpower to do all the work. The work was done professionally and on time and the site and common areas were kept clean during the entire job. Problems and changes in the scope of work were dealt with fairly and timely. They did an incredibly long and difficult job and made it look easy. My hats off to them. BOB

Our Sausalito condo association hired RWR to do some important foundation drain upgrades at one of our buildings. This building sits on a steep hillside so foundation drainage is critically important for building stability. RWR rebuilt 100 linear feet of existing drainage and then added 110 LF of new drainage in the crawlspace of the building. Adding the new drainage was especially difficult because of the cramped space and difficult access. RWR did a great job: work site was kept neat, work performed during normal business hours, COVID protocols carefully observed, work proceeded efficiently, communication between the site Foreman and myself was good and the job completed ahead of schedule. Inevitably in a job like this, there were a few surprises but all were handled quickly by RWR. After the first day, our Owners hardly observed RWR was on site; nobody complained. I hope we have a no more drainage problems but--being realistic--we probably will. If we do then I will definitely ask RWR to bid on any future projects. Bill.

We hired Tony and RWR to build a 60 foot retaining wall and install some new deck piers under our house. From beginning to end Tony and his team were professional, courteous and efficient. I had RWR do an 80ft retaining wall for us, they did an amazing job. Great communication, professional in every way. They managed any change orders well and communicated throughout the project. The site clean up was also REALLY good. They charged what I thought was a fair price. Very professional, they do the work the right way and I would use them again for sure.
