So disappointed in this company's lack of accountability. It is one thing to not realize there's plastic debris in the compost you are selling + delivering to customers... It's *another* thing to evade all responsibility for the error. It's disingenuous, out of integrity, and frankly, really sad to completely avoid communication with a customer for *nearly two months*.

We really tried to have a dialogue with this business about remediating the situation. Our family is not interested in shaming -- but there has to be some accountability for what's happened. We are worried about others purchasing compost from this company and how plastic will be taken up by whatever is planted with it.

The dirt that was dropped off was completely undigested and covered in small plastic particles. I literally had to pick out so much plastic while putting the dirt in my garden. I decided that I didn’t want to mess up my food with plastic particles in the soil. when I called to have them pick it up, they refused and would not offer any customer service support what’s so ever. I beg you to not use this service. Very disappointed.

Castillo Hauling cc ame out on a Sunday to help me haul junk away. They showed up with a team in 30 min from calling and took everything away. They were very respectful and cleaned everything up great. I highly recommend them for any of your hauling or junk removal needs. I will use them in the future.

Dishonest, Non Integral and Shady is the overarching experience with this family run business.

Super disappointed in the exchange with the Taris, Tally and their Father who collectively run the business. We purchased 10 yards of what we were told was mushroom compost only to find after the delivery bits of plastic incorporated into the entire load.

When we called to express our concern for the health of our family, as we were using the compost for herb and vegetable gardens the brothers gas lighted the conversation denying even delivering the product. They assured us that they would never deliver product with plastic in it. So we invited them to come and take a look at it with us.

On the scheduled day they did not come nor call. We enlisted the person who referred us to them to call and was assured that they would come remove the 10 yards and refund us. We shared with the Castillo brothers scientific findings of how our body's endocrine system is disregulated by plastic that is uptakes from soils through vegetables so they would be informed so not to continue with such practices.

The scheduled date of pick up came and went 2 weeks ago and we have yet to hear from them despite continued calls and texts. We are greatly concerned about the product they sell for our greater community as we understand that they grow and sell nettles and hibiscus to others. We really hope they will become more integral in their practices.

Now having realized they also are in the business of hauling debris we can deduce that they may be careless in that disposal and knowingly or not incorporate the garbage they collect in the soil. Super dissapointed and we hope no one else falls victim to this situation. We can only imagine all the bits of micro plastic we can not see with out eyes.

Also! the compost came exceptionally hot w undigested large smelly pieces of horse manure (see pictures), that even without the plastic we would not have been able to use.

Love the Castillo brothers! Used them at least 3-4 times already, very efficient and quick, great pricing.
