This company is completely out of touch. When I called, they quoted an outrageous $180 per hour rate with a ridiculous 4-hour minimum. The kicker? They claim to be part of a union for AC repairs - news to me. Don't expect any sympathy from these overpriced operators.

I recently had an issue with the air conditioner in my unit, which was handled by Westco, my building management's contractor. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend them. The technician and his trainee who came to my door were completely unprofessional and inept. They sent out the trainee on her own multiple times, and she clearly got the diagnosis wrong from the start. She also seemed frustrated with herself, as evidenced by her occasional cursing. The entire repair process took about two weeks, with the last couple of days being the worst part. The technicians showed zero regard for my apartment or personal property and ended up damaging my bathroom severely. I had to have it professionally cleaned twice and repainted due to their carelessness. It's clear they didn't know what they were doing, as putting up plastic to protect the walls and floor would have avoided most of the damage. The photos I posted show just how bad things looked after they left, but unfortunately, they didn't capture the full extent of the destruction. By the time I took the pictures, some of the cleanup had already been done. What's even more disturbing is that watching them work felt like an invasion - a violation of my space and property. It's going to take me a while to fully clean up after their mess. Save yourself the trouble and keep looking for alternative contractors.
