I’ve done business with Chucks Appliances for years and I get great service and all the technicians are good. If your looking for a responsible company Chucks is the place.

Their technician refused to wear a bootie for his shoes. As a reason, they told me that wearing the bootie is not required under California law. When I said that I will need the technician to wear the show covers, they told me to find another company. For a mask, he was using his handkerchief. Perhaps they have some sort of a monopoly.

Wish I could rate them even less than one star. Lazy company that won’t return calls and won’t reply emails even after having asked you to send them an email. Who does that? Makes me think it’s not an actual business. Skeeeetchy.

I called them because they say they specialize in vintage appliance repair. After telling me on the phone that they would be able to get parts for older appliances, I had them come out. The service person was knowledgeable, but said they couldn't get the parts. He said I could try to get them, but didn't give me part numbers or information I needed to find them. They said they would look, but I never heard from them again.
Very disappointing.

I deliver mail in South Pasadena, I’ve delivered to chucks appliance in the past. As a home owner, and slight handyman, I’ve gone into chucks appliance with questions about my appliances that are giving me problems and they are more than willing to give me advice and find the right part for me. Very friendly and helpful.

I have been using Chuck's for 35 years and highly recommend them. Their charges are fair and they have kept many, many of my appliances out of the landfill.

Spoke to Julio after different company literally came, looked, didn’t touch the stove, told me they don’t make these parts, and charged me for the visit. Julio assured me that they have been doing business since the 40s and that they would ensure proper operation. He sent a technician named Oscar who did just that. Honest company, fair prices, and great service. Highly recommend this company.

Very unprofessional and rude.
I contacted this business based on a recommendation of a friend and neighbor. I scheduled an appointment for Monday afternoon because my refrigerator is not working. They told me they did service my brand of refrigerator. I came running home from work after taking the afternoon off and no one had showed up in the first 2.5 hours of the 3 hour window I was given. I contacted them to make sure they were on their way. The receptionist told me they canceled and left a voicemail- fyi there was no voicemail. I told her there was no voicemail and she hung up on me. Would NOT recommend

A great experience. Called and easily set up appointment. The technician came on time and performed the work professionally. I definitely will use their services again.
