Joe was great! I contacted him two days before Christmas for a roof leak, he went out on Christmas Eve and was able to do a temporary repair before having the roof replaced. Definitely recommend!

Fritts Roofing may do a great job with composite shingle roofs and commercial roofs, but from my personal experience, residential Spanish tile roofs are not Fritts' forte! I'm going to try to keep this as objective as possible....

The ordeal with Fritt's Roofing began when the owner, Joe, told us a permit for our roofing project wasn't needed while the City of Oxnard said one was needed. It was one bad thing after another from then until the end.

The entire project was handled very unprofessionally, and I feel as though we and our home were disrespected:

(1) Fritts Roofing caused a lot of stucco damage to the house and a lot of damage to a small tower that is a key focal point of the home. It cost us close to $2000 to have the damage repaired. Fritts attempted to camouflage some of the damage by slapping a coat of paint over it.

(2) Roofing tiles were misaligned and had to be redone (thankfully, we caught it and brought it to Joe's attention before the entire roof had been completed). Tiles were laid just barely touching at the vertical edges rather than overlapping. This would have caused drainage issues and, eventually, major water damage to our roof.

(3) Workers often stomped around on a portions of the roof that were nowhere near the job they were doing. As even non-professionals know, this is not good for a roof.

(4) Workers repeatedly trampled through flower beds, smashing plants in the process, rather than using walkways that surround all of the planted areas.

(5) Tools, equipment, and supplies were placed in planted areas (causing more damage to the garden) rather than on the concrete driveway just inches away.

The list goes on!

If I had to choose between another experience with Fritts Roofing and a leaky roof, I'd choose the leaky roof.

There's a good chance the owner will reply to this and lamblast me for my honest opinions. Just keep in mind that I have nothing to gain by posting this.

I am very impressed with Fritts Roofing and Repair Company. They arrived exactly on time, were courteous and professional, and gave me a fair price. Excellent experience dealing with Daniel of Fritts Roofing. He was prompt in showing up for appointments and did a thorough inspection, showing me via photographs the damage that required repair.

We had a leak and our roof was older, so Fritting Roofing installed a new roof for us. After it was installed, we still had the same leak. I was not happy and called them. The owner said the leak wasn’t from his roof, but came out anyway.

He spent quite a bit of time finding the leak, and it had nothing to do with his work! Using my hose he sprayed it where the stucco on a wall had cracked. Then he fixed it and didn’t charge me anything!

This company and the owner are the real deal. I would absolutely have them out again, but their work was so good, I have no need to! So instead, hire them. I recommend them 100%!

If I had the option to give 10 stars, I would! Daniel Fritts and his crew have been doing segmental and full roof repairs for us for about a year now. We have 18 buildings in our HOA so we have kept him busy. Fritts is professional, reliable, conscientious, and a pleasure to work with. After interviewing several companies, we got the pick of the litter. His crew is amazing as well.
